There isn't really any sexual content in it at all. I mean, a couple of things here and there but nothing that would give it such a strong rating. There isn't even any nudity in the film, aside from a single topless gal taking a shower for a few seconds, and the view of even that was far away. While I don't think it needs such a strong rating, I'd say it's been given a NC-17 over the actual violence. The effects in the movie are highly realistic, it's not over the top or anything like that. The deaths actually look brutal. I'd list a few examples, but I don't want to spoil anything, heh.

I just read that the director of this film, Alexandre Aja, is going to direct the upcoming The Hills Have Eyes remake. I knew his name sounded familier. I just got a whole hell of a lot more excited for this reamake, heh. I also just read that Lions Gate viewed this film at a screening, and they picked it up for release. Right now, it looks like it will be coming sometime this year, and it has been branded with the NC-17 rating. I'm going to watch a few more horror films in the next few days, and I'll let you know what I think of them. Horror, Undead, Dead End, Ginger Snaps II: Unleashed, and a few others.

One and Only Smackdown Thread For 3/18/04
Downhome replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
While not a MOTY, it was still DAMN good for a free TV match. This year in WWE has been fantastic, with a HUGE "smarks favorite" moment happening in each month so far. Benoit winning the RR, Eddie winning the WWE Title, and then Benoit winning the World Championship. All the while we've been getting consistantly good wrestling, and various other interesting feuds, segments, and other mark out moments. If you haven't found something that you like in 2004, then you need to just stop watching. I can't remember the last time we had a year quite like this one. -

That was sorta sad considering it's for real. -
Maybe this is a work just like Brock Lesnar quiting and going to the NFL!!! OMG maybe Ron and Brock will join together in ECW~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I've always liked him also. I'd rather see Ron wrestle than some of these other guys WWE puts on the air. Heck, I was pulling for Ron to beat Taker for the WWF World Title back all those years ago. He'd fit in perfectly in TNA, either as a manager or some other such role, while possibly wrestling the rare match now and then to get over his storylines as a manager, etc...

Why would you even need to ask if the Mysterio DVD is worth picking up or not?

Here are the steps. 1) Download a client like ABC, and install it. 2) Go to a site that has torrent links and click on whatever you want (suprnova.org and it's search site novasearch.net are the best IMO). 3) There isn't a step three, ya jackass. I DO advise you to download a program like PeerGuardian or the such, to block IPs from connecting to you. Just get PeerGuardian, it's my favorite.

Here is a video of the game from IGN. The movement looks a bit jerky in places, but otherwise it looks great. The reversal of the Sharpshooter is especially cool. The commentary also sounds pretty good. http://media.sports.ign.com/articles/499/499800/vids_1.html

If you want, post what you want or have to trade even if you don't want anything of mine, maybe someone else will see your listing also. Check my GF link out also, listed below, and if you have something that I really want I might be willing to let go of stuff that I haven't listed here. Here is what I have for trade. I know it isn't a lot, but I'm sure that me and someone here can work out a deal, even if it takes a while for me to find someone. All DVDs are unsealed, except for the first one listed. FOR TRADE: 1) Wrong Men & Notorious Women Hitchcock Criterion Collection Box Set. (When I bought this I removed the outer seal around the actual box, but I did not open any of the actual DVDs So all of them are 100% factory sealed. I just wanted to look at the back of all of the DVDs in the set, lol.) 2) The French Connection: Five Star Collection 3) Ice Age (Both discs are fine, the case is fine, but the little flap on the inside that holds one of the discs is not included, but both discs are there. It's not major, but I felt I should let you know. 4) Moulin Rouge: 2-dicc (It is in a Blockbuster case with a sticker on both discs. 5) Magnolia: New Line Platinum Series 6) Lawrence of Arabia: Limited Edition 2-disc, in the wooden type case. 7) The Matrix 8) Bad Boys: Special Edition (The disc does have scratches, but has been tested on about five DVD players and works perfectly, movie and special features, etc...) 9) The People vs. Larry Flynt: Special Edition 10) Kung Pow Enter the Fist: The Chosen Edition 11) Woody Woodpecker and Friends The Collectors Editon: Volume One I believe that's everything that I'm willing to let go. It's worth it though, if I can get some of my wants I have listed below. WANTED: 1) The Ultimate Toy Box 2) Naked Lunch: Criterion Collection 3) eXistenZ (The Canadian version only.) 3) Bride of Re-Animator: Pioneer Special Edition 4) Halloween: Limited Numbered Edition 5) Alien Quadrilogy 6) The Critic: The Complete Series 7) Ed Wood (Yes, the recalled one.) 8) Erie Indiana: The Complete Series 9) Dilbert: Complete Series 10) Universal's "Classic Monster" Collection 11) Puppet Master Collection 12) List the other Criterion Collection DVDs that you have, as there are others in that line that I want, but I do not want to list all of them. 13) I collect horror DVDs, so let me know if you have anything like that also. Now, you can click here to see what all I have already, so check that out if you want to. I know I have listed some high end wants, but if you have any of that let me know. Whatever we do, it'll be fair on both ends of the trade, we'll make it right with one another I'm sure. So email me and let me know what you want to do, if anything at all. Oh yeah, one more thing. There might be a handfull of other things on my list that I'd be willing to let go, but I can't make any promises. If you have some of the high end wants on my list, I might be willing to work something out with some of my other items. I also have an original VHS copy of the rare OOP film, Man Facing Souteast (the film many believe that K-Pax was copying, even though those who produced K-Pax deny it). I would only sell it though, but I don't know of a price. If you want to make me an offer for it, feel free. While I'm at it, I also have the following video games for sale/trade. PS2: 1) Jak II 2) Castlevania 3) TMNT 4) Klonoa 2 5) Defender 6) Mad Maestro 7) Virtua Fighter 4: EVO XBOX: 8) Prince of Persia 9) Beyond Good & Evil 10) Halo So if you have any game also for trade, let me know. Sincerely, ...Downhome...

Gee, I wonder who wins that darn Gauntlet Match.
-
I cringed when JR and Lawler brought up the possibility of Benoit possibly having the title just stripped from him.
-
Holy crap, this is great that he's going to stick around! I've missed the guy a lot.
-
This is nothing new. Didn't Brock say something just like this in Sports Illustrated for Kids before he joined WWE?

From WWE.com

Why don't some of you just pitch in $2-$5 bucks each and oder it? If you don't have it, get your parents or whatever to pitch in that small bit.
-
It's as good a place to start looking as any. I know that most listed near me still show the PPVs.
-
If you need to know what bars, etc... in your area show the PPVs then you can go to WWE.com and look it up yourself.
