Oh my God, I'm shocked that he didn't just kill Hurricane with that finisher. Talk about impact.

That's all fine. The people who want to discuss the opinion though, they should be able to do so without flaming them and calling the person stupid.

That Jericho/Christian segment was just horrible, one of the worst that I have ever seen. Ugh.

Am I alone in seeing so much potential in all four of these guys on TV right now?

I was shocked when Lance walked out just now, I almost forgot he was even in WWE on the RAW roster.

    Sunday Night Heat Thread!

No it's not new, it's been going on for almost a decade now, but I still don't agree with it. I'm fine with when you have a duo like Sunny/Skip and Victoria/Stevie, because they are looked at as a pair, not really as equals, but as a team. But once Sunny became over huge, then I never liked when she was put over the workers. I liked Jackie with Rico, but now she's getting pushed over the guy she is the valet for. If Victoria poses for Playboy and they start to really push here in that type of way, I'll hate that also if she is still with Stevie. I just hate when they push the valet over the guy(s) they are with. The only time it's ok, is for the rare Sable/Mero feud, where they actually make an angle over one being jealous of the other one. DANCE RENE DANCE~!

Good for Rico winning, but I would like to say that I hate Jackie's new "gimmick". Is this WWE or XPW? I wonder when we'll have a WWE "strip your opponent nude" match. Rico has talent, but they decide to put his freaking valet over more than him. I have never been able to stand when any wrestling promotion does something like that.

    Weekend Boxoffice report

I've read reports that it will bring in 75Mil+ over it's first five days. I don't doubt that either, if the rest of the country is anything at all like it is here, it's going to be huge.

I wonder how much it'll bring in over it's first weekend, and also overall.

    The Passion of the Christ

I will be seeing it with a bunch of people from the church that I am a member of. We have rented an entire screen for the evening. For those who don't know if they'll see it or not, just think of it as any other movie. I don't know why so many are thinking of it as nothing more than a Christian flick. I've went to see movies about other religions and cultures, and loved them even when I don't believe in or agree with the subject matter. I just wish more people could look at it as a film, a movie, entertainment.
  16. Here is a .GIF that will help me explain what I'm talking about. Now, has anyone ever done that exact same thing, but instead of just falling to the mat after the dropkick, they had someone under him and when he landed he landed on the guy just like he just did a standing SSP onto him? Does that make sense to you? I've always wondered about it, but the match from where that .GIF came from made me think of it again tonight, seeing how it's set up perfectly for what I'm talking about. What matches has it happened in before if ever? Sincerely, ...Downhome...

This isn't hard to comprehend to me, just as someone said before. Straight up calling someone a moron, ass, or just saying "fuck you" or "your opinion is stupid" just because you do not agree with their opinion should = against the rules. Responding to someone who you do not agree with and actually starting a conversation and challenging their opinion should = perfectly fine. You can tell when someone wants to actually discuss something with another poster, and then when they are just trolling to be an ass.

    Undertaker/Kane history

Who here has seen either Kane or Taker bleed when facing one another? ...Anyone? ...Bueller? Nope, don't recall any bleeding. UT did bloody up Xpac a lot in the tag team feud, but it wasn't UT/Kane bleed. Who nees blood when you have men setting men on FIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~!

    OAO America's X-Cup

I just finished watching this show from top to bottm, and I thought I'd say a few things about it. I know it's two weeks old, but whatever. I have no idea how anyone could say this show was sub-par, bad, and HORRIBLE. I don't understand how someone could watch this show, and even think such things. Now, maybe it's because I'm used to the current WWE product and haven't watched much Puroresu, Lucha, or anything else like that, not to mention not watching any TNA in months, but I loved the show. Each and every match pulled me in, they booked it in a way and Tenay and West put it over as a VERY important event, it just felt really good. Not to mention that I loved each match on the show. Yes, there were blown spots here and there, but it wasn't some sort of huge night of screwups like some in this thread made it out to be. The only really bad botch that really hurt the flow of anything, was the Skipper screw up in the very last match. That one, I'll admit looked horrible. I am also glad that AAA won. Sometimes I just hate when we are fed a cookie-cutter, cliched, anti-climatic ending. Had Lynn pulled out the tie in the end, that's exactly what it would have been. The only thing that I really "hated" on this show was the very end, post-match. We have AAA in there celebrating their victory and JJ comes out and basicly treats them like trash, to go forward with the Tenay angle. They should have allowed AAA to totally celebrate, let that go for a few mintues while Tenay and West put them over, as well as the entire show, and then just have them leave on their on. Then, right as Tenay says good night and all of that JJ's music starts up, and you get a surprise right when you think the show is over. Then they could do the JJ/Tenay angle. I would have been fine with that. I was also fine with the JJ stuff throughout the show, I didn't see anything wrong with any of that between the matches. The Funk thing was ok as well, as it didn't take up much time and it was just filler to promote for the next weeks show. I give the show two thumbs up. It wasn't the best show out of all of the wrestling shows that we've ever seen, but it was one of the best that I've seen in years. I loved the feel of the show, where they didn't really make anyone out to be a heel/face. It came across to me as a legit competition, as the guys really trying like hell to win it all for their respective group, etc... The matches ended perfectly fairly, the better man won each match, and all of that. I love stuff like that in professional wrestling, we need more shows like what we had with this one. One more thing. Is Don West really a moron, or is this just his character? I like the guys voice, a lot actually, but he comes across as a pure moron. He makes more mistakes than JR on a bad night. The most obvious one that I heard that made him look like a moron was at the very end durring the last match. The fans are getting behind Lynn, and they are all shouting "Jerry Jerry" over and over again. They show a shot of Skipper and West goes something like "Listen mike, Elix is getting these fans behind Lynn by getting them to say USA, USA, USA". Then we have silence for a second, and then West goes "JERRY JERRY JERRY". Also earlier in that very same match, he says "And Mike the only way to win this match is by tag and submission", and Mike seems to just about ignore him really and just says "pin and submission". Those are just two of his many either flat out mistakes or just looking like an idiot. Is he always like this?

    Backlash main event speculation

Watch it end up being Goldberg/Lesnar since Austin will more than likely be involved.

    Backlash main event speculation

Well I must have missed it, because I don't remember them even refuring to HHH/Benoit/HBK as the actual ME. I guess I pay more attention to what the commentators say, I dunno. I've never heard them mention it. But it's all over SD, they've been making a huge deal over Angle/Eddie being the ME.

    Backlash main event speculation

I'm basing it on what they've said on TV. They've only said that Benoit is going to WrestleMania to try to reach his dream of winning a world title or whatever, they haven't mentioned main event with him yet. With Angle/Eddie, they keep saying it's the main event over and over again. Making such a big deal out of Angle going to the ME two years in a row, shouting it over and over about Eddie defending his WWE Championship in the ME, and all of that. I haven't seen anything yet to make me think differently about it.

Nope. Why even respond to someone if you are only going to post a one word reply?

    Backlash main event speculation

I think that Eddie/Angle will be the main event at WMXX.

    Backlash main event speculation

Whoever wins the Eddie/Angle match will more than likely have an effect on who wins the three way. Do you actually think they would have a face/heel win both matches? I'm just about ready to just flat out say that both HHH and Eddie retains at WMXX.
