Lucha Libre on Galavision at 2 PM ET today

Oh my God, I've never seen anything like this. Is it the same thing as a WWE Royal Rumble?

Yeah. Woohoo, the dossey-doe or whatever it's called, I haven't seen that in a tag match in a VERY long time.

Well this is cool, I haven't seen anything of Vampiro since WCW, so I love this. Is everyone else in this match pretty good? When do they show more recent shows?
  6. OMG WWE is dying, it's the best thing ever, it's dead, DEAD I say, it's great and I love it OMG I love it so much, I I care about nothing else in the world other than sitting here just to type this over and over and over again because I am not capable of ever coming up with an original thought other than OMG WWE is dying, it's dead, it's dying, and I love it OMG!!! -PatrickOMGB wow...downhome really took some time to type out that burn. Trust me, it takes no time nor thought to come up with such asinine tripe.

Edited for correction. Dude, you're only what, four years older than me? It isn't THAT bad around here, yeesh. OMG you can edit a quote, you are so great, I can't believe you thought of something THAT clever. It's NEVER been done before! Trust me, it actually was very strange growing up around here. Besides, I was a kid just fooling around anyway. It wasn't say, very insanely dangerous, but we did have a ton of very weird people in my community back then, and with it being a small area there were rumors of all kinds of things. Our farm had a huge problem with people from satanic cults stealing our cows and calves (usually just calves since they are so small) and mutilating them. Yes people shit like that really does go down, and we had quite a few people found guilty of it. Not to mention that we had a community witch. No, not this big house with a big fence that everyone THOUGHT was a witch, we had a woman who straight out said she was a witch, and claimed to cast spells on people, etc.. She had the whole deal, from the big ass black pot in her back yard to strings all over her yard with voodoo dolls and the such hanging from them. Even her kids were frightened of her, and openly said they think she's into weird stuff also. As a matter of fact, she kidnapped my sister and our cousin once to do SOMETHING to them, but we got them back before anything happened. So yeah, it was very weird around here back then.

A question for anyone who writes

Set up some sort of interview and actually talk to convicted murderers and serial killers in prison. I know people who have done it, and I will do so myself in the next year or so. As I write, I allow my inner self to become the characters, whoever they may be.

Check out a little film called The Station Agent. I was going to make a post here about it, but I didn't think anyone would care all that much. There isn't too much to it, but the characters and the overall theme and the little story did just click with me, and apparently with a ton of critics also (at RottenTomatoes it got 96% overall and 100% Cream of the Crop). I love these little films that usually don't get a wide release, and when they do they aren't around very long at all.

Well that cracked me up about as much as anything else I've ever read here. No, I grew up here on our old farm in the middle of nowhere out in the country in South Carolina.

I am watching Leave It to Beaver right now.

    20 years ago tonight....

I'll still be a fan of what they did in their careers. You know, besides the little "murder" thing. I just can't get over that you are such a Hogan fan, it's so weird.

    Who Needs To Stop Posting?

Downhome fact of the day: When I was a child growing up on our farm, I would tie twine around and through the holes of a brick when I would go on walks through our little community here. The reason being, to fend off local dogs and the such.

    20 years ago tonight....

Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair had EVERYTHING to do with my budding interest in this industry, I'll forever be a fan of both of them regardless of whatever they do.

Would anyone else enjoy it if,

I wish they would show the face locker room and the heel locker room, and show everyone talking to each other. I loved when they did that.

Wow, what a weird question to ask me of all people. Yes, of course I know it's a true story. That's what I mean when I say that Charlize did such a good job. Not only did she simply give a good acting performance, but she really seemed to BE Aileen Wuornos, from what I've seen of the woman in actual footage and the such.

Well I just watched this film, and it was very very good. Christina Ricci did a fine job, not outstanding, but fine, while Charlize Theron on the other hand just blew me away. Had I not known it was Charlize, I just might have not known it was her as I was watching this film. It's one of those moments in film where the actress becomes the character, it's just unreal. As for the plot and story, well, it was "ok" to me. Don't get me wrong, I do love the overall story, but there wasn't much substance to this one, it just left me feeling empty. The best thing about the film is without a doubt all of the performances, and more than any other, that of Charlize. I'll suggest this film to anyone really, unless of course you are a tight ass moron. As for "tit shots", I don't really recall any really good ones for Christina. Most of them were reserved for Charlize. The role that Christina plays isn't really one that goes along with something like that I don't think.

    True or False

Ah yes, I just remembered that Sean O'Haire is from Hilton Head, SC. Woohoo. We're also home of The Fabulous Moolah!

    True or False

I think Del Wilkes (The Patriot) is from Columbia, SC. D'oh, you are exactly right, I can't believe I forgot about him. I know there are a few from my state, but for some reason I can't remember. I remember right off hand Columbia, Charleston, and a few more but I'm sure that's not all. Someone currently active is from Charleston I believe.

    True or False

Bruce "Brother Love" Pritchard is from Texas by the way, so that sways things towards that state. Anyone know who all is from SC right off hand?
