LOTR: The Two Towers Special Extended DVD
Downhome replied to The Dames's topic in Television & Film
I can't wait to get it, as it's on it's way to me along with the Flair DVD set. IGN gave the Two Towers Edtended set a 10/10 rating though, so that's a good thing. -
I want to see BOTH of them back. Family Guy because I just fucking loved it, period. Futurama for the same reason, but also because they had so many stories left untold, you could have done so much with what they had there.

Doesn't Sayama have to "approve" those who take on the gimmick?

Huge ammounts of police swarming "Neverland"...
Downhome replied to Downhome's topic in Current Events
No he wouldn't have, he's a sick man, but so far he's been a free man, getting away with whatever he wanted for years and years. If he's convicted and he goes to prison, he'll be totally out of his element. He will not know what to do in there, he will not be able to survive. Once someone with Jackson's problems is put into prison, their mindset on life can change greatly, and suicide would not surprise me at all. -

So yes, an arrest warrant has not been released for Jackson's release. Who is going to represent him you ask? None other than Mark Geragos! -
I had originally planned to just tell people I got the picture from a cap off of a SD taping live feed. I decided against it though.
-
Yes, I figured it out. What are you trying to download from that room? For it to be from a mainly wrestling message board, there's hardly andy WRESTLING in the room.
-
So is it Spanky or London vs. Nunzio?
-
On paper, does the results and everything read like a good show?
-
Don't forget to post the SD non-spoilers whenever you get the results. You know, for those of us who like to watch it "live".
-
Nevermind, I'm in there now.
-
What's the channel and everything?

The proposed plan was that it would involve Jericho showing Trish how much he loves her or something...It was a long good detailed plan. There is no way that it would end up being anything but horrible. The entire POINT of the last few months for Jericho/Austin was to have Jericho finally have Austin taken care of. For him to just bring him back, for a shitty reason like "proving his love to Trish", would enrage me. I usually like most stuff, but that would be too much even for me.
-
I thought we all had decided that Steph would show up as the new co-GM, and she'd just rehire Austin.

Hit me up on AIM sometime, or let me know if you have WinMX if you want any of my matches.

I just figured this thing with Kane on RAW was just a one shot deal...for now, in order to get that many more people to check out SD.

Here is the short story. The moment I saw John Cena, I thought he looked just like Sting without face paint. I went on and on and on talking about it here, blah blah blah. Eventually, I was talking to a friend of mine about it, and I asked if he'd make a picture of Cena in Sting face paint, and he did so. Thus, the above picture of "The Man Called Cena" was born.

I'd hold off for one more week. With that said, I hope he's on just for the hell of it, heh.

The "blowoff" ruined the entire feud for me, it killed all of those months of buildup. After that happened, the fans really began to sour on WCW and all involved in the angle. Had Bret not got in the way, had Sting pinned Hogan 1-2-3 in the middle of the ring without ANY question, then WCW would have been on a much smoother road.
-
Not quite.
-
I mean it could have done alot MORE for them, obviously.

Yes, I mean to get revenge on Kane. Picture it, Vince and Kane is in the ring giving their "eulogy" for The Undertaker. They're talking shit, and then all of a sudden the lights go down. When they come back up, Goldberg is setting up for the Spear, Kane turns around finally, and gets the shit knocked out of him. Goldberg does his deed, taunts for the fans, then jumps the guardrail and leaves through the fans. Something is going to happen durring the "eulogy", Taker ain't coming back to get any revenge already, so this makes perfect sense to me. Eh, I'd mark out for it.

It was at the same time, one of the biggest angles in history, as well as one of the biggest letdowns in wrestling history. The Letdown was the Blowoff...Still doesn't mean it wasn't the biggest angle in history. Ok, not at the same time, but you get what I mean. That angle could have done so much for WCW had they not fucked it up.
