Holy God, so there ARE 65+ move sets, besides those of guys already in the game. OMG.

If that's the case, it'd be awesome. Wouldn't the majority of those just be the movelists of guys already in the game? That'd be less awesome. Hopefully there'll be more than in the last game. How many was in the last game? One of your koi?

The Ultimate Submission match wasn't good. 2/3 falls wasn't too special either. Both of those were better than most other matches going on. They were better than the awful Undertaker matches on the same cards, but I still wouldn't call them great. I often think they get a free pass, just because it's Angle and Benoit. Either that, or because their matches are usually the better matches of the night, especially when they are in there together.

I'm pretty sure that Hulk Hogan's and The Ultimate Warrior's move sets are in the game, but those are the only ones that I know of right now.

bro, wait until you actually play the thing. I am not saying it won't have the potential but no mercy and vpw2 were the best wrestling sims ever on the market and the SD! series has always been lacking in the actual gameplay dept. I agree. VPW2, this is not. I still say that Giant Gram 2000 is the best Pro. Wrestling sim though, Fire Pro. D is great also.

For my first match, I'll be Hillbilly Jim and I'll just destroy Kane. In every wrestling game I've played, my first match is always a one-on-one normal match, just so I can totally get the feel for the gameplay.

Then fuck the theater and go somewhere else then!

Ok, the entire written review has been posted over at GameSpot. Here it is... ...so all of that, with a final score of 9.0, oh yes. I'll post the IGN review for the game once they release it later tonight. I can't wait untill next week!

I just found out that PSW, a UK magizine, gave HCTP an overall rating of 10, yes a 10. They gave it a 9 for graphics, 8 for sound and 10 for gameplay, and then the 10 overall.

GameSpot just gave this game a final score of 9.0 Superb rating, giving it the GameSpot Editor's Choice award, the 31st game on any of the next-gen systems, to get that award. The entire written review isn't up yet, but should be soon with details about the score!

Also, I'm of the belief that if two Pro. Wrestlers are good enough at what they do, even if they have no storyline/feud or anything leading up to the match, if they are good enough, they can tell the story IN THE RING. That's where the magic happens. I'm very into Puroresu, and I don't know what the storyline is most of the time, and I enjoy the matches totally. Still, a well thought out storyline does add to the match, I'm not disputing that. You don't HAVE to have that to make the match worth something though, that's all I'm saying.

I'd rather watch Benoit/Angle have an outstanding Pro. Wrestling match without ANY story to it, than to see half of the so-called "storylines that we have going on right now. Of course I'd rather have the Benoit/Angle match have a feud to surround it and a backstory to follow, that adds a ton of emotion around it. I just wont complain if they wrestle for no good reason other than to have a good match for me to enjoy. Besides, they aren't going to really FEUD, this is all just about getting the spot against Lesnar, so you don't need a huge feud to go by here other than they BOTH want to have Lesnar at Survivor Series. Besides, they already have a history with one another, it isn't that hard to have them just get in the ring and have at it.

I don't care what they feud over, I just want to see them wrestle. I'm hoping that we get a great SD TV match this time, with the right to face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series on the line. Oh yeah.

I'm sick of feuds which have kick ass matches over and over again, END BENOIT/ANGLE DAMNIT~! OMG1908~!

I beat Ghosts & Goblins actually. I just used a Game Genie for that one, heh. I could never do THAT game on my own. Once I got to Satan though, I had no problem at all. I just "warped" straight to him, and beat him. I really need to go all the way through the game, and damnit, I WILL do it one day.
