Oh yeah, my thoughts on the film. Let's just say that it's one of my favorite straight up, balls out, toally hardcore horror films, that I've ever seen in my life. I loved the feel, most of the acting in it, all of the scares, Leatherface himself, and everything else about it. Sure, it isn't perfect, but a film like this doesn't have to be. This film just felt good to me, in terms of a horror film. I just loved it, plain and simple. As always, if you want a full review or want my opinion on specific parts or just want me to answer some of your questions, then feel free to let me know. Out of five *'s, I'd give it ****1/2, once again, in terms of a horror film. I've also come to the conclusion that Leatherface is my favorite horror villian of all time. It's one thing for a crazed psycho to be chasing you around with a knife all silent like and poping up out of nowhere, and it's another for a crazed psycho to be chasing you around with a chainsaw, with it running almost all of the time, where you know just where he's at at every moment, and feeling as if there is just about no way to get away. It's some fucked up shit. Oh yeah, speaking of fucked up... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): When Leatherface killed off Pepper and then looked around at Erin, and he had Kemper's face on as a mask, well, THAT was some fucked up shit. That sincerely freaked me out. ...yeah, one hell of a film.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read): You must be pretty damn slow, as it was very obvious that he was fucking crazy, as well as OBVIOUSLY a member of the clan, the very first moment he was ever on the screen. Hell, I thought it was obvious the very second that when they got to that old house, the old man said that it wasn't where the sheriff lived. No offense.

Nope, but it just might leave te viewers saying that same thing about the entire film as a whole.

I'd also like to say that I loved the trailer. As a matter of fact, in my opinion, it's one of the greatest trailers ever put together for ANY film.

As much as I WANTED Vader to have a great and dominating career in WWF, just as he did in WCW when he first arived there, I knew that it wouldn't last. As strong as Vader was throughout his career in WCW, as great as he was, Hulk Hogan destroyed, DESTROYED the entire mystique of Big Van Vader, in a matter of minutes. That is quite possibly the only thing that I'll forever hold against Hulk Hogan. When Vader met Hulk Hogan, Vader's career in the USA was ended.

Dawn of the Dead: The trailer has been released...
Downhome replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
I 100% disagree with you on that one. I have to agree with Vyce as the muscle and tissue of the dead are decomposing thus them running fast would lead to the flesh just ripping apart from tension I'd like to see why you disagree Ok, here I go... ...that's the part of the other quote that I disagree with. -
That's the fucking best news I've heard in a while. I'm so glad that Bobby overcome his cancer and is ready to come back in one way or another. That just really makes me happy to hear. I'm such a huge fan of his, it's just great. With that said, I wish he had a better WWE product to work with.

Like I said before, that rumor is false. Now say the same thing about all of the other remakes in the works. -

I excused 28 Days Later from this however. In reality, those weren't zombies at all in that film, it was just people who were infected with a crazy disease. -

Ok, after thinking for just a second and being more sane, I thought of a film where the remake was at least at par with the original. Night of the Living Dead Both films are classic, in their own way. -
D'oh, I fixed that now.

Again, not that I care what other people say as I love the horror genre period. I know that most will dog this one since it is a remake, but once again, it shouldn't have been remade in the first place. I had to post this though, as I thought it was funny as hell. Yes folks, it's Roger Ebert's review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), which he gave a big fat 0 *'s... ...good god Roger, why don't you REALLY tell us what you thought of it? On a side note, this man gave Hellraiser 1/2 * and said about that one "This is a movie without wit, style or reason, and the true horror is that actors were made to portray, and technicians to realize, its bankruptcy of imagination." He gave Phantasm 2 *, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Part 2 *, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors * 1/2, and he gave GIGLI **1/2.

Holy shit, I just went over to RottenTomatoes and wow, the poor reviews are coming in now. 35% Overall 19% Cream of the Crop Here are some of the single quotes on the site... ...of course, I'm stilll going to see it so that I can form my own opinion. I still think that I'll love it, but I'm sure I'll see the faults. The fact remains however, even if this film is good or bad, there is no reason that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre should have EVER been remade. That's it, plain and simple.

I am going to watch it tomorrow afternoon, and I can't wait. You have to remember one thing however... ...it is produced by Michael Bay. If that means nothing to you, I understand. The point however, is that Bay is on the DGA Task Force on Violence and Social Responsibility. I wouldn't think it'd be insanely vilolent with him on board. Besides, the original film had very little violence in it at all. It was based more on the mood and feel of the film, not to mention it was made to look like a totally true story. I'll personally be very pissed off if this film is a huge gore-fest.

Goldberg pinned Hulk Hogan in Atlanta, Ga. to win the WCW World Championship... ...and I was there. That's reason enough for me.
-
This is from Coming Soon which was posted on the 11th, so get a load of this... ...and a more detailed report from the source of that, Creature Corner... ...if that happens, I'll never have to watch another horror film as long as I live. I will have witnessed the coolest thing, of all time. Sincerely, ...Downhome...

I'm afraid to comment on tonights SD, as I may never be able so stop expressing my hatred for it.

That match is on Kazaa with *excellent* video quality. It looks like it was taped today. The match had emotion that WWE can only dream of duplicating these days. Amen, simply...amen. WWE can only DREAM to have a match with that sort of emotion and meaning right now. The most emotion we've been allowed to have in the past few weeks is a father and daughter having play time fighting, and a puddle of shit. I'm on pins and needles people, pins and needles!
