I don't know what to say. I mean, I know this has been expected for quite a while now, but still. Pro. Wrestling has truly lost one of the all-time legends. This man did so much for the industry, and to the day he died (unless he just up and changed his mind in the past few months) he stood for the most importat aspect of the "sport" that we all love and respect so much... ...wrestling. He knew what it was all about, and that's the wrestling. I feel so sorry for the Hart family right now, and obviously especially for Bret. That guy has been through so much. I truly hope Vince and WWE will allow him to have the moment that he so deserves soon, at WMXX. Rest in peace Stu Hart, you will be missed by all true fans and members of the industry that you so loved.

I agree that it's wrong to blame the guy. But the fact is, Cubs fans aren't going to forgive and forget. Ever. because they are idiots, they will never admit it was the players fault...so they blame the god damn goat or this fan... Besides, who knows what you'd do if you were that fan. How many seconds did that entire event last? I know it's wrong to get in the way, but the fact remains that he had every right to do what he did. There were quite a few fans right next to him and all around him who were all trying to get that ball at the same time. Any one of us would more than likely try to do it also if we thoght the ball was out of play and that it was just a normal foul ball. He only had a second to decide, and he went for it just like everyone else around him. I highly doubt he did anything on purpose.

You said the exact same shit earlier that people said in 1997. I have no faith in baseball in Miami untill they can prove me wrong. If they keep this team together next year and actually are worth a damn, then I'll change my opinion. People said a lot in 1997, same things that have been said this year. I've been a Cubs fan for all of my life. I have watched them on WGN for many years. The Braves are my team however, as I live very close to Atlanta. I feel very bad right now, I'm in shock.

That's the entire point. I can't put into words how magical that series would be, it would be outstanding. I can just imagine it going to the 7th game, extra innings, with it all on the line. It would be the ultimate sports story, one to go down for generations to come (even if it didn't go down to game seven, etc...). Two "cursed" teams meeting one another in the World Series. One team to go home, finally fullfilling their dreams and breaking said curse, while the other goes home broken and beaten. One experiences the ultimate climax of joy, while the other is sent home experiencing the ultimate heartbreak. Wow. Dollars to doughnuts it's a sweep. Even if it would be a sweep, everything I said still applies. It would be the ultimate sports story. It would be an event that every fan could get into, even if they don't care for either team. Who gives a shit about the Yanks being in the WS again (besides the Yanks fans) when you could see a story unfold that would mean so much more?

I just want to say FUCK the Yankees, I don't want them in another WS for years. If you ask me, the fans of the sport in general are sick of them, and do not want to see him playing for the championship. Simply, when they are in it, many just assume they are going to win it, and many just don't give a fuck. A Sox/Cubs series would be damn interesting, one of the most interesting and eventfull things of all time. I could give two shit and a piss about seeing NY back in the running.

You know, I at first wanted the Marlins to win this to go to the World Series, but now I don't know. A Sox/Cubs WS would do wonders for the sport.
