What they should do is come to terms with Chris Jericho this week. Then, as the RAW plays out and they get to the #1 draft pick, the announcers could play it up as they're so confused, since all of the big names have already been picked. HHH, Cena, Batista, Edge, all of them have already been picked. Then, for the #1 pick, for RAW, the arena goes dark, his music starts, and they announce that Chris Jericho has made his return.

No one knows for sure, but like I said before, I think it's safe to say that they're now going to keep him at home either until his contract runs out and they just let him go, or until he signs a new deal. Either way, he seems to be done for now.
-
So the nWo shows up, only for all three of them to get drafted to different shows.

*holds up four fingers* Wooooooo...

If Cena doesn't job to either one of them, which isn't likely at all, I hope they just stick Umaga and Khali together as a tag team. While I feel both of them have improved this year, they have really been booked pretty bad over the past few months. I say let them become a tag team for a little while, and then down the line once again start to push them as singles monsters once again.

What in the world is going on right here? Oh God, are we going to get a "Vince is totally going senile" angle?

Whatever it is, I'm sure that no one here will like it. -
Yeah, I forgot to mention how Khali was really playing to the crowd all throughout that match with Cena last night.

Goldust will be back in WWE again, just give it time. -
From WWE.com: ...i.e., RVD will be kept off of TV until his contract runs out or until he signs a new WWE contract.

I'm shocked that Khali has improved as much as he has. When he first showed up, I didn't think he could do anything at all, not even fit the mold of the huge monster worker. Now though, you can really tell that the guy really tries out there. He actually looks like an imposing force, he's got the "fall back and get trapped in the ropes" bit down, and just overall I think he's really improved both his offense and defense. Heck, who here would have imagined him taking the FU bump like he did tonight a number of months ago? Maybe by working with HBK and Cena has really helped him, I don't know, but I don't think it's fair to totally and completely bash the guy like we all did when he first showed up. Don't get me wrong, I don't think he's a great worker or anything crazy like that. I simply think that he's doing a fine job in his spot, that's all. He's grown into his role very well.

Yep, this is a really great flick. I really can't wait for Superbad even that much more now - and speaking of Superbad and Knocked Up, check this out: http://www.funnyordie.com/v1/view_video.ph...61c7c98800678fa That David O Russell spoof is fantastic.

WWE General Discussion for June 2007
Downhome replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Well played. What's up with WWE's horrible promos this week? First Vince/Lashley on ECW, and now Batista/Edge on SD. The Batista/Edge deal just now was horrible, it was like two ten year olds complaining. -
"The only thing that can stop him is an injury." - JBL, talking about Edge Come on JBL, don't say things like that on SD!

WWE General Discussion for June 2007
Downhome replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
I just want to point out, again, the purpose of this thread: Feel free to create new threads as long as the topic is at least halfway meaningful. We're going to pull back on being so strict about which topics deserve an entire thread or not. As long as we don't see a million threads about, say, John Cena saw Ron Killings in an airport and they looked at one another, everything should be fine. That's the sort of stuff that belongs in these monthly threads. -
Here is the video of Sandman's entrance from the event that the alleged incident took place. The woman charges that "while bleeding from a self-imposed wound to his head, grabbed her, picked her up, and threw her, not only injuring her back and aggravating pre-existing injuries, but also exposing her to blood and humiliating her."

The Planet Earth set is fantastic. Check out the rating for the program on IMDB.

So Farrelly Brothers got back together

The Trailer -
This sale means next to nothing to me anymore, and I used to be one of the main people to mention this sale. Many prices at DD are no longer the lowest price, and over the past sale or two they've started to actually raise the price on many of their items to make up for the 20% off. With the way the prices for DVDs have gone down, how you can almost always find a great deal, coupon, or sale these days, the DD sale just doesn't mean what it used to. Now don't get me wrong, there are still deals to be had. It's just not that crazy deal it used to be.

The new AFI Top 100, coming June 20th on CBS
Downhome replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
I did a search for TGD but didn't see it pop up, but I guess it's because of the way it's typed out. -
The screenplay for Journey of Death (HHH's WWE flick) is online if any of you want to read it.

The new AFI Top 100, coming June 20th on CBS

Two more that I believe should be added are Chaplin's The Great Dictator and The Shawshank Redemption. While TGD isn't even on the nominated list, TSR was and I think that enough time has gone by for it to be recognized on this list. TSR has aged so well, and as time goes by it seems like more and more people view it as an American classic.
