What else do they have planned for this show? Could we be in store for a long match on RAW?
-
My God, these RGX commercials are awesome.
-
Please, quick, tell me that we're not going to see Mark Henry get involved in the Taker/Batista LMS match.
-
Well Rey's used it a few times. True about Murdoch though. That's true, but you don't usually see such things in WWE. And yeah, the main thing was that it was Murdoch. That sure was a quick match there, heh.
-
No matter what it was, I sure didn't expect to see such as that on a WWE show much less Murdoch of all people doing it.
-
Holy shit Murdoch! EDIT: How in the world can they not show a replay of that?
-
Vince didn't say a single word? Holy crap.
-
Edge after he stops working out and doesn't take any steroids?
-
Oh my God, surely they aren't really going to do something like that again for real...
-
I haven't read any spoilers either other than a non-spoiler match listing.

I'd assume he's talking about the Memphis Wrestling bullshit. Check out this thread.
-
Yes, that should happen just for the hell of it.

We're three episodes into the final season of The Sporanos and this thread barely has two pages? I must say that I'm a little bit shocked. I like how they're going about setting the stage for the last few episodes. So far we've had three episodes, and in each one of them Tony Soprano has contemplated whacking three of his own guys. First Bobby, then Christopher, and in the latest episode, Paulie. Add in all of the shit going down in NY while Tony continues to get more and more paranoid, and we have the makings for some absolutely awesome final episodes.

Yeah, that's right. It also stars Dylan Moran (the lead of Black Books, also in Shaun of the Dead). I also recommend Big Nothing, it's a great little flick that almost no one seems to have heard of.

I could go for the WWE debut of Harry Smith tonight. I doubt it will happen, but it sure would be a great moment.
-
Yeah, if anyone really wants to watch the show, every single episode is available online.

Well, it worked for Umaga. They released him back in 2003 because he got into a brawl or something at a club. He went off and made the indie rounds, even showed up here locally (impressed the hell out of me as well), and they brought him back in 2006 and he's now a major player in WWE, and since his return I can't remember any reports of him fucking up.
-
With the shit he's going through, I can't really blame him. This is a voicemail that he left for his 11 year old daughter: Click here, or right click to save the MP3. And this is the statement he released explaining it: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18220258/

Jody Hamilton is on WOL right now, it's a great listen. They just went to commercial, but they're going to be back with him in a few minutes.

The Randy Orton situation is only getting worse according to Meltzer, PWInsider, and so on. Earlier today PWInsider reported that there are a lot of rumors going around about the guy, and none of them are good. There is a lot of talk about WWE pulling Randy Orton from the big PPV match coming out, and Meltzer just said on WOL that we should know what's after RAW tomorrow night. Some PWInsider readers have also reported commercials promoting the PPV, and they only mention Cena, HBK, and Edge. He may not be long for the world of WWE.

No matter if the guy wrestles or not, I've always thought that it was a damn shame that they haven't used him on TV at all hardly since they brought him into the company. I'm all for seeing more of Double A on my WWE programing.
-
I'm glad that it seems like they're really starting to pick up steam as well. How many episodes are left this season?
-
This is great, but I hear that the episodes are actually sped up pretty noticeably, so that they can fit more commercials in. I know this happens a lot, but from what I hear it's worse here than usually. Here's a clip of one of my favorite moments from the show that I uploaded to YouTube a while ago: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Z7aq6EFq_38

Yeah, all of you should go check this out out. Here is what I said in the other Hot Fuzz a month ago: Just as I said I was going to do, I did go to the screening and Q&A in Atlanta, GA this past Wednesday night. It was, without a doubt, my favorite event that I've ever attended in my life. The theater was packed, and I'm pretty sure that they had to turn people away. I got there very early, and stood in line (I was about six back or so from the front) for a few hours. Little did I know that I actually had a priority pass and didn't have to stand in line, but hey, what are ya gonna do? Anyway, the theater was totally packed, so I'd say there were about 350 to 450 rabid Pegg, Frost, and Wright fans in all, depending on how many the theater actually holds. The movie received numerous standing ovations and extended periods of applause once the movie was over. During the movie, everyone was laughing, clapping, and everything else. So much so that we all missed a few follow up jokes quite a few times, so I'm going to be sure to go watch the movie once it's released wide. The main bit that got the loudest pop was when: After the movie was over and the credits started to roll, you could just tell that everyone in the theater was blown away by what they had just watched. The Q&A then started with Pegg, Frost, and Wright and it lasted around one hour. All three of them told great stories, talked about their careers, and just had fun with the fans as they interacted with us all. It turns out that Wednesday was actually Nick Frost's birthday as well, so we all sang happy birthday to him twice as he was given a birthday cake. After all of that was over, anyone who wanted to meet the three guys and get autographs and pictures could do so. I got all three of them to sign my Spaced box set as well as my R2 version of Shaun of the Dead. If any of you live near where a screening will be taking place, go to it! I drove about two hours or so to get to the theater in Atlanta, and waited outside for around three or four hours, and it was more than worth it. As for the movie itself, my opinion is more than likely skewed because of everything that took place, but I liked it just as much as Shaun of the Dead, and it gets my highest recommendation. Even if you can't watch a screening of Hot Fuzz, then at least go watch it when it opens wide. EDIT: I was going to see it again this weekend, to see how a normal audience would react to it, but it's not playing anywhere near me within an hour or so, so meh.

After that steroid mess a few weeks ago the PWInsider guys reported that he needed to shape up ASAP, or he could be on the chopping block down the line. The guy has a well known history of an attitude problem, he's not the greatest worker in the world, he was caught with the highest number of steroids out of all of the guys named, various backstage antics, and now this. Will it actually take him getting released to come to the realization that he's not that important to WWE as he thinks he is? There are a number of young guys waiting in OVW and whatnot who are just begging for their shot, many of which are far greater than Orton himself. Once WWE finally realizes that Orton isn't going to change, and that they have some fantastic talent on the verge of breaking out, surely they'll move on to the next project. Meh, I just don't understand the guy, that's all. He's been given the world, it's been his for the taking, and he simply refuses to change for the most part. Am I far off base with all of this? I highly doubt WWE is too worried about him going to TNA either, since none of the other guy's to show up there have made much of a dent at all. I hate to tell the guy, but at this point in time he's more than expendable. He's been on the verge of being fired for what, two or three years now? If it doesn't happen right now, surely it'll happen eventually. They've fired guys for far less than what he has on his record. If his last name wasn't Orton, I'd be willing to bet that they would've released him a long, long time ago.
