BEES, BEES, BEES!!!
-
Guys, if you know where to look online you can download the next two episodes already. They apparently air a week or two earlier in France.
-
Yeah, that episode was all the charts. I'm not sure how everything will eventually go down, but holy shit will it be great. Isn't there another season after this one? It sure doesn't feel that way with the way things are going.
-
Which guys were actually produced in DSW they actually brought up to WWE?
-
That's a nice haul, lots of great films in there. Yeah, if you want to buy the DVD you can go to the main site of the flick: http://westbankstory.com/new/buy.htm Or you can wait and pick up the upcoming box set (May 1st) of all of the Academy Award nominated short films: http://www.amazon.com/Collection-Academy-N...6287&sr=1-2 And if you just want to watch it, you can buy it for $1.99 on iTunes.

WWE stops Hogan-Lawler from happening
Downhome replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in General Wrestling
From Brian Tramel, www.rasslinriotonline.com ----I talked with the FedEx Forum today and they stated they have 1,500 tickets already sold for the Memphis Wrestling Hulk Hogan vs. Paul Wight match. That is already a gate of $70,875. I might be guessing too much here, but I am thinking around $100,000 for talent and the advertising going into this event. So, anything over that is going to be pure profit. Cost may be lower, but you know Hogan is probably got to take more than $10,000, which was his rumored fee. -
TNA Impact Spoilers (First Hour Spoilers now up)
Downhome replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
The fact that it was "a nothing tease" makes it worse if you think about it. The entire point of announcing the match the week before (in TV land that is) was to get the fans at home excited, to get word going around that one of the true dream matches is going to take place on the following show. It was done as a ratings ploy, and it might work. However, if they do get a few fans to tune in to the show with Angle/Sting on it, once they see that it wasn't anything more than a tease, it's going to piss off those people who tuned in to see the dream match, to see those two major figures go head to head. This is the type of bullshit that hurts a company, and turns people off of wanting to tune in once again. Then with all of that, the TNA morons go and give another PPV match, a match that they're actually promoting for PPV, on free TV. The very same show that they just fucked around with Angle/Sting. With the state that TNA is in right now, if they're stupid enough to promote a match like Kurt Angle vs. Sting on Impact, then they sure as fuck better provide just that to the audience. -
Holy shit, CM Punk is gold in this role, I'm loving it. That was so perfect, even the facial expressions were perfect.
-
Maybe CM Punk will convince the other New Breed members to kick Elijah Burke out of the group. As revenge, and to make it personal, Burke recruits Colt Cabana and Ace Steel to join him to form a new group. When the time comes for a big match, CM Punk then turns on The New Breed and Colt and Ace turns on Burke, and we get a SCS reunion, and a huge "screw you" to the entire New Breed bunch.
-
The more I watch this show, the longer it goes on, the more I get a huge Arrested Development vibe from it, and that's a very good thing if you ask me.

So Santino was born in Italy, moved to Canada to train as a pro wrestler, then came back to Italy to visit his family. All the while, WWE just happened to be in town, and he just happened to go to the show, and he just happened to be in the front row, and he just happened to get picked to wrestle Umaga, and then he just happened to win the IC title. That Santino is one lucky guy.
-
Ha, now this I love. EDIT: The entrance, not the guy he's facing - meh.
-
They're already going to start conflict within The New Breed?

TNA Impact Spoilers (First Hour Spoilers now up)
Downhome replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
Well, at least we can't act like we're shocked over TNA doing something so stupid. -
No problem. I would've posted it here a long time ago, but most people here don't seem to care. Which ones did you pick up?
-
The guy was doing fine before Vince changed the rules, so it wont be all that of a stretch to see him be able to wrestle when he finally has another match. Before the rules were changed he was pretty much kicking Umaga's ass.
-
Say what you will about this, but the crowd was great, especially with the chair shots.
-
The hatred for the spoilers is making me excited to see a trainwreck of a show.
-
Why in the world are the spoilers posted in the OAO RAW thread HTQ? Would it be so hard to keep all of that in spoiler tags for those of us who want to watch the show like we always do if you don't want that to be a thread of it's own?

Have any of you noticed a huge speed increase for torrents from PWT or XWT? I don't know if it's my connection or what, but I'm getting awesome speeds at both sites now, much better than in the past.

I've been buying a bunch of DVDs from Big Lots lately, usually only $2. Over the past six months, I've bought about $50 of those DVDs, some good stuff too. Some foreign, indie, that sort of stuff and a lot of them are OOP. Many of them are $20+ everywhere else. Go check out your local Big Lots store. Anyway, after the Academy Awards this year, I emailed the winner of the "Best Live Action Short Film" (Ari Sandel for "West bank Story") and asked him if I could buy a DVD of it, and have him autograph it for me. He ended up sending it without the autograph a while back, and I emailed him telling him thanks, and I understand he's a busy guy and that it's cool. He promptly mailed me another DVD, one with his autograph on it, and I got that in the mail today.

WWE stops Hogan-Lawler from happening
Downhome replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in General Wrestling
I hear that they were also giving away a free $20 chip to use in the casinos to the people who got tickets first, but I forget what the number is. So if people jump on that, you could look at it as $20 off whichever price of ticket you end up buying. I don't think there's a chance of a sell out though. You can still get as many as 10 tickets together in the $45 range as of right now. Don't get me wrong though, I do think it'll be a success. I think it'll do better than anyone expects, but I don't think it'll be a sell out. That would be awesome, and I'm pulling for it, but it wont happen. If I was up that way, I'd be going to this show without a doubt. tekcop, be sure to let us know how it goes once you get back. About the specifics of the show though, there is one thing I'm unsure of right now. Will the fact that Lawler isn't going to be there going to hurt or, possibly, help the show? It's in Memphis, and there are a ton of Lawler fans who would go to the show just because Lawler is on the card regardless of his opponent. Then, on the other hand, you have the draw of Hogan vs. The Big Show/The Giant/Paul Wight, and that match could bring in even more fans since TBS has been a major star in the mainstream for the past 13 years or so now. I can see people outside of Memphis more willing to make the long trip down to see that match, especially since it was almost a Wrestlemania draw just earlier this year. -
No, it's free. Anyone can watch it if their computer is able. If you found the stream, and only hear it, you need a codec of some sort. It's obviously not live, it's a match or two behind, but it's good enough for me. I didn't care much about watching, but I'll check it out this way. I got this from another board: -You need the most current FULL-Version of Winamp ( dont use the Lite Version because only the full version supports NSV) or the VLC Player. -For Winamp and VLC Player, it is necessary to install ffdshow and the x264 Codec to watch our Streams.
