I like this Flair/Carlito angle. It will be very interesting to see where it goes leading up to WM.
-
This is so retarded. Why does Lashley hate Umaga so anyway? Does he feel that strongly for Trump's hair?
-
Hahaha, that bit with security was horrible.
-
I haven't had a chance to check this one out. It never opened anywhere around here, but now that it's out on DVD I plan on picking it up here pretty soon. I don't think he will win best actor this year, that award is taken if you ask me, but I do think that he has many good years ahead of him on the big screen.

humongous2002, your sig is great just for the fact that since then almost none of those people work in WWE anymore. Man, how much can change in less than a year.

Did Kennedy just get hurt legit? If not, he really sold that toss into the steps. EDIT: Ha, I guess not.

I didn't think I'd be seeing this one week ago.

So Umaga, of all people, is going to be the guy who has to carry Bobby Lashley to a good match on the biggest show of the year? I know that Bobby Lashley was the guy expected to be Trump's guy, but come on. It could be a decent match if they allow it to brawl all over and just become a crazy mess, but by God they better not try to have them have a ordinary wrestling match. And what about the ECW title now? Will it be on the line? Will they have Lashley drop it before WM in order to have an ECW title match? Will they not give a shit about that little tidbit at all? Yeah...I know. Anyway, here is a news bit or two from PWInsider: -CM Punk is in line for something of a major push coming up here pretty soon. Look for him to, more than likely, beat Nitro to get that MitB spot, and if that happens then look for CM Punk to feud with Nitro for the spot, with CM Punk possibly being switched over to RAW. -It's rumored that Vince is now on a mission now to "fix" the ECW brand after he's had enough of the lowered ratings and the various problems. Not to make it the old ECW or anything like that, but to make it a brand that can stand on it's own two feet and to make it a long term permanent fixture in the WWE world.

From the looks of things, 2007 is going to be a great year for film period.
-
I saw the full trailer the other day. It's every sort of awesome, and it kicked my ass. I can't wait to see how it sits with critics, and at the box office.
-
I think so. The finish to that match was great if I remember correctly.
-
Woohoo for Mr. Perfect!
-
And there's Foley. This is stupid as hell to have him show up on WWE TV before Trump "brings him back", if they go that way.
-
Well, for what it's worth, if they want to do the Hardy/MNM thing for a while longer, Jeff doesn't need the IC title anyway. That said, Umaga doesn't need it at all either. I guess Foley could cost Umaga the title in a match on RAW sometime in the future, adding heat to their feud though.
-
The rumor from last week from PWInsider is that Foley was pushing hard to have a match with Umaga at WM anyway, so it looks like he more than likely got his way...and also got the added gimmick added to it of the Vince/Trump deal. It would even make sense since Vince fired Foley.

SHH! They might actually do that! That's my pick. Trump/Khali for WM '07!
-
Trump should pick Khali now, just to stick it to all of us.
-
Well, I didn't expect that one to be honest with you. I still thought it would be Khali or Shane.
-
Get ready for over a month of this guys. And there is yet another knock at Hogan.

It's the return of The Barber Shop!!!

I only said maybe my favorite ever. It is my favorite of this season though, I know that much. One of my favorite episodes remains the Locke episode that revealed that he was in a wheelchair before he came to the island. I'm a sucker for stuff like this, so sue me.

Come on, ECW December to Dismember was a far more important PPV than Wrestlemania don't ya know.

I don't know if any of you give a shit about this, but here it is anyway. PWInsider put up an audio file today about the latest in the Warrior vs. WWE legal battle. After being asked to give specific examples of where WWE damaged Warrior's name, he listed the following from the DVD: -WWE lied about coming up with the "Ultimate Warrior" name. In interviews with Warrior, all throughout the years, he tells a story of how he is actually the one to have come up with that ring name while doing his first promo for the company. -WWE damaged Warrior's name by stating on the DVD that he was unable to have a good match unless someone carried him. Basically, Warrior is claiming that they damaged him by claiming that he wasn't a good in ring worker. -WWE stated on the DVD (Bobby Heenan they believe) that Warrior never understood how the match went. -Some various quotes: "If someone came from another planet, it could be Jim...Jim is very different. "He (Warrior) was too stupid to know where he was from and no one from his town wanted to be associated with him." "The tassels tied to his arms cut off the circulation to his head." -WWE stated that he could not do an interview. As you can see, it's just the normal stuff that anyone here would be able to list. In short, he had a problem with the entire DVD. -WWE said he was dangerous in the ring. -They said he didn't know anything about wrestling, and didn't really care about the business. -They said that he held Vince up, and Warrior claims that wasn't true. -The quote from Vince saying that he couldn't wait to fire Warrior. -Saying that Jim found it hard to differentiate himself from his character. -Saying that no one liked Warrior and no one wanted to work with him. What Warrior needs to prove is that the DVD was produced in order to harm Warrior's name and personality. He is after damages, have WWE cover his attorney's fees, and he also wants all footage, notes, films, discs, tapes, and all materials used to produce the Warrior DVD. In short, he wants the rights to all of the Ultimate Warrior footage He has also asked for a jury trial. Not taking sides, but the fact that WWE originally titled the Bret Hart DVD Screwed: The Bret Hart Story (or something like that), does not help WWE's case and does make it look like they intentionally try to damage former workers if they do not agree to work with you again in the future.
