I also thought that he died years ago, but I think I was thinking of Lloyd Bridges instead for some reason. Either way, the news is sad but you can't really feel too bad about it since he lived a long, successful, interesting life.

I can't decide which is worst. The fact that the cartoon exists and will be a weekly deal, or the fact that someone, somewhere, decided to go through with it in the first place.

Well, I went to see this earlier, and I must say that I was very pleased. It is a well made film from top to bottom and is more than worthy of all of the praise critics are giving it so far. All of the performances are fantastic, including Will Ferrell. It's not the best dramatic work we'll see from him, but it's a great start. Yes, I know he's done a couple of dramatic roles in the past, but this is really the first main one that most people will see. I'd compare this point in his career to Jim Carrey's performance in The Truman Show. Emma Thompson was gold in the film, one of my favorite performances of the year period. Dustin Hoffman was, well, he was Dustin Hoffman on one of his good days, if you know what I mean. Maggie Gyllenhaal was cuter than ever, just adorable. I didn't even mind Queen Latifah, she did her role and it was solid as well. Tony Hale (Buster from AD) doesn't do too much, but it was cool seeing him in the flick also, even if I kept thinking of him as Buster. Marc Forster's direction was great, with some great shots and effects throughout the movie, and of course we have Zach Helm who, in my opinion, has lived up to the hype. His movie on screen felt like a Charlie Kaufman film that went through a few more re-writes to ground it a bit more than usual. Yes, the premise in this movie is out there, but they still made it seem more "real" than most Kaufman flicks. That's not really good or bad either way, it's just what it is, and it works. I can't wait to see more of his work, I'll be looking forward to much more from Helm. Anyway, do not expect a "Will Ferrell" movie, because you wont get it here. You'll get a few laughs scattered throughout the film, but that is not what the point of this movie is. It's a well told story, with plenty of dramatic elements that really pull you in as the viewer, just as the script does to the reader.

Did any of you just see Borat on Leno?

I think we'll see Bobby Lashley win the ECW title at this PPV, so meh. Forget the main event, I'd like to know what in the world they're going to do for the undercard.

Tony Hawk Project 8 - 7.3 out of 10.0 Pros: Redesigned career mode gives you multiple levels of challenge; nail the trick mode is a cool-looking addition that has a positive impact on the gameplay. Cons: Frame rate is frequently unstable; no online support; skater creation options aren't as in-depth as they have been in previous installments.

Do any of you have a link for that match?

he was fired agian. He never had a contract this past time. He was set to do so and debut once again, but before that happened he had his most recent problem. The other day PWInsider said that he still might be on his way before too long. Here is a funny note for the day: K-Fed's album debuts on Billboard at #151 with only 6,000 copies sold. To compare, John Cena's CD debuted at #15 On Billboard Charts.

I guess Britney should have remained married to Jason Alexander.

Holy crap, maybe what I posted earlier is true then.

From PWInsider: -The ECW house shows will be re-launched around Wrestlemania time, so they aren't actually dead. -They told a funny story also: During the swing through Japan and Hawai, on the first night some of the wrestlers went down to the hotel bar, and Balls Mahoney ran out of money. When it came time to sign his bar tab, he signed it to the hotel room, but not his room. Instead, he signed it to Robbie from The Highlanders. When Robbie got his bill, knowing he only had one or two drinks, he was pretty pissed when he noticed that his bill was for over $400 billed to his room. He tried to think of who was in the bar, and in doing so he went and tore the Spirit Squad a new one instead. So he's bitching them at, and they don't know what he's talking about saying they didn't do it, and then later it came out that Balls was the one who actually did it. I would have loved to have seen that one.

Gears of War GameSpot Video Review! There's no score given, but the reviewer doesn't say anything bad about the game at all really and ends up saying that if you like action games of any sort at all, then this is the game to own this holiday season. The only two real "complaints" were: -Your teammates aren't very helpful. -The framerate doesn't hold up during cutscenes.

It's being built up as the new major game in the industry, like Halo, MGS, GTA, etc. Here is the Wikipedia description:

It wouldn't shock me if DX somehow helped Big Dick Johnson beat Lita for the Women's Title. -

WWE is doing one hell of a job of setting the stage for TNA to just fucking blow them away. After the PPV last night, and this RAW, TNA is going to look like gold this week. -
