    TNA on Spike?

"--In what is a story that could potentially have huge ramifications to pro wrestling, today's Hollywood Reporter noted that with Howard Stern's TV deal on E! expiring on 7/8, they talked about a potential deal with Spike TV. The key to that is Stern's show on E! airs at 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and if Spike goes with a similar time slot if they were to make the deal, and runs a Saturday night show, it could affect negotiations with TNA." I doubt Spike would run Stern on Saturdays but who knows. Normally I think the E show would air repeats of Stern on Saturdays and normally try to have new shows M-F. To take things a step further, I really dont see TNA getting the Spike TV deal in all honesty, but time will tell. Regardless, that is why they need some plan of action NOW for either upping the syndication or renewing/renegotiating with FSN. Either way, they are going to be basically dark until October at the latest if they dont do something else, and being dark that long is going to make those off months very questionable to pull in any even half decent buyrates. Sure, they wont lose $20,000 a week off the TV show on FSN, but the losses from people not even bothering to get the ppvs anymore when there would be no TV deal would probably be even a more significant loss overall. Regarding the advantages of 2 hours v. 1 hour to promote the ppvs each week, quite simply, if anything, the matches they could book on the show could be made longer (which isnt a bad idea) and in general promos and vignettes to get characters over could be more prominent. That right there lies the problem with one hour of TV a week. How do you get a relatively roster over completely with such limited time? Great booking can only take you so far.
  2. Yeah I know - maybe the fact of the matter is that TNA isnt planning on bringing those gals in after all. I can see her point if thats the case, as there would be nothing for her to do other than continously feud with Tracy.
  3. I dont know what she considers "not showing the coochie" but unless she is referring to explicit spreading of da lips, this sure proves her wrong. NSFW http://galleries.badgirlsblog.com/playboy/rochelleloewen/01/ I've even seen more photos around of her in most "open" poses before, just not sure where exactly. I think she's ridiculosly outspoken becuase she doesnt give a damn to be in the wresting business ever again so she doesnt care, where as the other gals like Gail and Molly probably are still interested down the road in returning if things were right. Plus I think the way she projects herself in this interview shows she is anything but a lady and needs a real reality check. She is always going to be just tits and ass with that attitude of hers.

    The Real World: Austin

That Mel chick is fucking smoking, damn. I'd be in heaven living with her. More than any RW intially though, ya gotta feel sorry for her boyfriend (who I would clearly say is probably not with her anymore) as she was fucking horny for Danny immediately. Imagine him having to see this shit last night on TV. His hot ass woman at the time flirting like crazy with the guys and even showing off her coochie on that one shot. Chicks like her are definately a great catch short term but any guy who would actually be with her long term would be a fool as she's almost too good looking that she probably could never ever be committed fully. Anyway the show last night was interesting for sure. Neh is going to clearly be the only voice of reason and sense, not to mention maturity, in that house. He got fucked over badly there, as he didnt do anything wrong with the chick, just helping her, and then a drunken Danny gets on his ass for him not being around while he was "protecting him" even though none of the cast even knew the story why he left. If anything Danny should be pissed at Johanna for doing what she did, which led to him getting out of there. How the hell does Wes and Johanna hook up? Guys like Wes - I can't understand how they can get ANY pussy EVER when you act like a fucking 12 year old fratboy that looks like a tool in the first place, much yet have really nothing much to offer to the cast other than being just that. He's one of the more dumbass beefcakes I've ever seen on TRW. MTV should have a blog site where all cast members are required to post week by week on their thoughts of each show. For example, someone like Johanna adding their thoughts on how she came across on this episode would have surely been interesting.
  5. If there ever was a WWE offer on the table for her, she'd be stupid not to take it. She's pretty hot looking at times and she's athletic enough that she could get over pretty well in WWE, she's like a much better version of Lita in general. TNA hasnt done anything notable with her in a long time and she fits that uniqueness that Vince would probably like right now, not to mention her connections within the entertainment business could get her over more in vignettes on the sets that she did stunt work on and the company could get over more with those connections, could make for good cross promotion for the movies she is in also. I gotta say though, hot damn that was a nice outfit or lack thereof she was wearing at the ppv. How she did not fall out of that at some point in the match baffled me.

    Early Smackdown Spoilers

Results sound ok but confusing in general. I am in the same agreement as most that one of the champs from Raw have to make it over to Smackdown by the time all is said and done here, and most likely after this new title match. Otherwise Smackdown will just look so incredibly second rate it's not even funny. Then we have a unification match at the next ppv since nothing else at this point could really draw for that show that I could think of, in terms of a real main event, other than maybe a final gimmick match blowoff for Rey-Eddy, or was this match on Smackdown supposed to be the blowoff? I hope not. Hassan being drafted is weak right after he lost last Monday. He should have been drafted off the heels of a big win, not the other way around. Again, its just yet another glaring example why Smackdown is second rate to Raw. Generally, WWE has not booked their programming well at all this week. The draft picks were underwhelming, talent has been hurt in the midst of it (Benjamin is in a bad situation right now and needs a serious strong follow up come next week) and basically, things are coming across extremely hotshot with no real long term reasoning or rhyme. They'll need a strong ppv and especially Raw/Smackdown to make up for it.
  7. More hilarity from this dumb broad. Chris Cash asked Rochelle why she wasn't with the company anymore after her move to Smackdown! seemed to make her experience a little more enjoyable. "I'm not there anymore because I don't think it's a good fit for me," she explained, "there was a diva search with Smackdown! at No Way Out [and] I just thought it was absolutely rediculous. Joy Giovanni...she's a mother of two babies and she's a married woman. She gets up on stage and sits up on Torrie Wilson and starts reverse cowgirl as if she's having sex, takes off her shirt wearing a bra, pretending to screw another woman up on stage and she wins the diva search. That is not the way I think a lady should act". Loewen continues her shoot on the women in the WWE, the way they're presented, and the reason she's not there anymore, "It's just absolutely repulsive to me. This type of action these women [are] doing is not my forte. I just decided this is not an appropriate fit for what I want to do and I decided to leave". When asked if she had ever been confronted about doing similar things on television, she said she wasn't. "Those girls acted like that on their own free will," she said, "during the No Way Out diva search, all of them stripped down to their bras and did these sick little dances and I decided to tell jokes. They [the audience] were expecting me to act like a whore and I wasn't about to act like a whore. I'm a lady and I don't want to degrade myself to that level. That's not all I have to offer...my tits and ass". Rochelle continues by saying the perception that company has of women in general is ultimately the reason she decided to leave. "Had I not been doing the diva search, I would have quite a long time ago. I mean the theme song being 'Walk Idiot Walk'...what kind of f***ing woman would walk out to the theme song 'Walk Idiot Walk'. That's just beyond me". She says she agrees with a lot of the wrestlers that wrestling is not a very good place for women. "The flipside of that is this...if men only want to see men up on stage wrestling, that makes me wonder too. That really makes me wonder. For all you wrestlers and all you fans that just want to see men up on stage...that's a little weird guys". Editor's Note: Yes, she just called all of you homo's. Amy Weber Shoot Starts Now: Rochelle mentioned the tension that seemed to be backstage behind the women and how it seemed as if all the women (and even if the men occassionally) were always competing. "The worst of the worst was Amy Weber," and she's off to the races shooting on Amy, "thank GOD she was fired. She is just exorcist. She was sort of the female version of Randy Orton. She's the anti-Christ...absolutely evil". After such strong statements, Cash asked Rochelle to give reasons to support why she feels this way toward Amy Weber. "I can give you a plethora of incidences where she was absolutely beyond normal," she continues with an example, "this is the best...this is why the WWE and her didn't work out and I have to tell this story because it's hysterical". She brought up how the WWE was going on a tour to Japan. Rochelle, however, didn't go on the trip and was told about this story by "all the wrestlers" when they returned. Loewen made fun of how Amy was bragging prior to the trip about being famous in Japan. "I remember her even telling that to Stephanie McMahon". She continues with the story, "All the wrestlers were out one night having fun in Japan and on the streets was this man giving away advertisements for a strip club. On the advertisements for the strip club was a picture of Amy Weber and it was a really, really slutty, whory picture of Amy Weber. So, all the guys on the bus started laughing and passing around this flyer saying 'Come to the strip club where you'll have lots of fun' and Amy Weber upon seeing this little pamphlet or whatever is outraged," Loewen mocks how Amy supposedly said the pictures were stolen and then continues with the story, "well, the guys were curious so they went to the actual strip club to go find out whether that picture was stolen or whether or not she worked there. And the latter was true...she worked there and she worked there as a girl who did everything. It was a whore-house and she had worked there for a while. Oh, she was very popular! That's what they [the wrestlers] said, that for a certain price, she would do everything". At one point after this incident, Rochelle claims that the men were teasing Amy, resulting in her saying that she was going to sue the WWE for harrassment. Rochelle ends by comparing the difference in what Weber did to what she does in Playboy. "There's a huge, huge, huge difference," she says, "Playboy is the pennacle of feminine beauty. I have never shown my coochie in Playboy. I would never, ever, ever sell my body to a man for money [referring to Weber]. It's a huge difference. One's at the bottom of the barrel and one's the absolute hierachy of feminine beauty. However, to have a man pay you cold, hard cash to use your body for whatever he wants is a little bit of a different story". Rochelle Loewen didn't hold Amy Weber in the highest regard, to say the least, during this interview. You can listen to this interview by clicking the links below. When you're done, please head over to the Voice of Wrestling forums and discuss this interview with other wrestling fans. Amy Weber emailed a response to Rochelle's interview with VOW that will also be released with this recap, plus she'll be doing a follow-up interview this Monday from 7-9 EST on the Voice of Wrestling radio show. You can submit your questions by visiting the Voice of Wrestling forums. ------There was a response from Weber which is kind of pointless to post (I saw it over at the Obsever site), as it's just more shit throwing back at her about nothing whatsoever. Anyway, how much of a hypocrite can this chick be? Its like the pot calling the kettle black with her comments about Weber. And her example of Weber is heresay from the wrestlers completely. Even though its probably true I hate it when people tell a story as fact when they werent even there. And I think I've seen this chick show the snatch before in some PB pics before, so not sure what planet she is thinking that she hasnt ever done full nudes. Can anyone verify this? Gotta love Playboy chicks who think they are above being eye candy too. Also pure hilarity that she knocks the WWE for degrading females, yet says wrestling shouldnt have all men as that would make it "gay" so what the fuck is her point? To have nothing but women who are held in a high regard to a fanbase that is mostly men? It's like saying the Man Show should be hosted by Hilary Clinton and Martha Stewart or some shit. This bitch was hired for no reason other than to be tits and ass, just like Playboy. If she was naive to believe any differently, thats her own fault.

    TNA Impact Spoilers

True, but like I said they have had quite a long time to plan ahead for this. But maybe they figure there was no point to have blowaway shows considering they arent on cable right now. There might be more stuff they add to each show too in post production. With that said, I dont know how large their syndicated network is (I would guess not very big at all) but apparently Impact will be aired in it's place, so TNA does have a little TV coverage, fortunately a channel (Sunshine Network out of Florida) which I have.

    Slammiversary ME Spoiler

What did Gunn do to "slag off" the WWE upon his leaving? I tend to miss what that was... I just love how you aimlessly bash TNA on something (regarding this New Jack thing) that is neither true nor have ANYTHING to do with this thread. Keep up the good work. I think all of us are getting tired of you ripping on TNA because of the Jarrett factor when evidence keeps appearing that he's fallen way out of grace with the company. Just please stop and lets have some constructive discussion, is that too much to ask?

    TNA Impact Spoilers

Kind of "eh" about these results for the next 4 shows. Expected a little more out of the new booking team since they've had tons of time to work on things, and also since the shows building the last ppv and the ppv itself were pretty strong. This just seems lackluster as a whole other than a few things here and there, like Daniels/Skipper, as well as Lynn and Mitchell being brought back into the storylines. Things like whats goin on with AMW is not addressed here, nor is the ongoing and overdone Outlaw/Road Dogg storyline. One interesting note here is the only involvement of Jarrett in the whole taping is a run in on Zach Gowen?!!! I'm sure there will be cynics, but it seems very clear right now that the booking committee and Panda have JJ in a corner with not many options other to agree with what they want or else get out of the company - and make no mistake about it, that is Jarrett's fault completely that it's led to this. The bitch move JJ pulled leading into the ppv with wanting to win the match for ridiculous reasons (one was the feeling he needed to win to keep strong his KOTM monikor) has probably alienated even the strongest Jarrett supporters within the company. So anyway its either JJ v. Gowen at the ppv, JJ v. Jeff Hardy (oh yay) or else maybe even no Jarrett at all. That speaks volumes of the current state of power in TNA, plus the fact that they didnt follow up from the ppv and just do Jarrett-Raven II, which logically should be the main event for this next ppv and might draw somewhat. Perhaps it was suggested to Jarrett, but something tells me that if Jarrett didnt even want to work the KOTM match, which wouldnt even have had him do a fucking job, there is no way in hell he will legitimately put Raven over. All of that on the preshow on Sunday may have just been a way to move Raven in the match and Jarrett out of it, and not necessarily build to a future rematch with them. The card for the ppv as they have it now does not look strong to me. Not feeling Williams-Daniels really. 3lk v. Outlaw/Brown?!! What a horrible waste of time there. Joe v. Sabin might be good, in fact real good. ME of Raven v. Abyss in a double dog collar match to me is not what should be headlining this ppv. Good to see they have some sense to bring back Mitchell to manage Abyss which is a plus, but I just dont have a real strong desire to see this match. Styles v. Waltman with Lynn as the ref is definately smart though which could lead to a tremendous series of matches with the three down the road. I dont know, I just dont see the current ppv lineup strong at all and maybe they feel they should tread slowly until they get back on TV and Matt Hardy comes in (which is slated to be on this ppv I guess - they might announce that ahead of time which would give some more merit to a weak card) but my feelings is that they should be working real hard to keep any momentum around during this important time in the companies history. Honestly, TNA should have done, if anything, a Hardy Boys reunion on this ppv in a tag match against whoever (AMW?) to draw some legitimate interest in this, as well as Raven/Jarrett 2.

    Slammiversary!

Overall I thought the show was strong and by the end of it, I was buzzing on how they gave the belt to Raven and how this could be the start of something real good. Needless to say this was long overdue to happen. I like Styles and everything but I just wasnt feeling this title reign at all, as I think they tried with Styles and Jarrett for 3 years and neither got the company really over as a whole. Styles long term can draw as champ but he needs top notch heel opponents and at this time, it's just not there or at least his potential opponents would be something that we've already seen before, such as Abyss, etc. The only other thing would have been to hotshot the belt onto Brown, but I think that (as well as Styles ever regaining the title) can be done with a well planned out title chase scenario. Raven already had it before (the title chase) and that one single promo in the ring versus Jarrett as well as that fantastic promo he did on the actual ppv, in no time flat, got him back in the title picture and even better, was so well done by Raven himself it warranted him winning the title. Just made perfect booking sense and you saw the crowd "feel it" too. No need to have Raven chase the belt was neccessary. The best/worst part was the Raven working with Jarrett thing, which will surely lead to a long awaited rematch between Jarrett and Raven, and the best/worst part of it all is that it will either mean Raven finally gets that big win over him or else Jarrett regains the title. Obviously with the rumblings I've been hearing, I dont think there's a chance at all of Jarrett getting the belt back and especially under this scenario. He's getting into the TNA doghouse very fast after losing that power, unless the backstage news about him refusing the KOTM match involvement is all a work to build heat on Raven/Jarrett and nothing more. There was alot of comments during the Raven/Jarrett segment on the pre-show which could have been taken possibly as shoot and/or an attempt to knock against Jarrett publicly also by the writers. Part of me thinks Raven winning was done just to spite Jarrett and then to take that a step further, so will be having Jarrett putting over Raven FINALLY in a rematch since that was so clearly the wrong desicion of Jarrett over Raven two years ago. It's almost like the booking team saw just how bad for business the Jarrett situation has gotten and have decided it's time to force Jeff to be a team player and put over others or else it's him outright refusing to do things, which will have him leaving the company sooner than later if that keeps up (and also exposing him to any Jarrett supporters within the company). Anyway the main event was obviously pretty good. Lots of good action and general fun stuff to watch. Waltman going heel on Styles is smart as that can be a decent feud if its anything like their last. Abyss is now kind of out without a new program, and the same with Brown, although he can still play off with Jarrett and do the turn. A returning Jerry Lynn could easily be incorporated into a program against both of them as well. Daniels continues to impress and shine, they might as well keep the belt on him until a real worthy contender appears. The other X division matches were all good too, although I was goofed out on having Shark Boy go over all that other talent. He's a fine novelty act but he just doesnt ring X division to me really, plus he'd be much better back as a tag team with DRay or something. Jimmy Hart with the Naturals = two thumbs up for sure, although I thought having Tammy Sytch come in to manage them would have been very cool too. A few of the matches were weak, but overall a solid show with legitimate surprises, so I can't complain too much. They do need to get done with this 3LK stuff with Outlaw though, and just go ahead and do the NAO team again. Also AMW needed to go full out heel here on this ppv. One thing I did kind of expect though was something to be noted with either Jeff or Matt Hardy, especially when the fan plant was of a Hardy fan.

    TNA on Spike?

Well the problem is still that if they get on Spike here, what are they going to do for TV time up until October? Until then, they should do one of two things, or both. 1) Try and renegotiate with FSN for a short term contract run. Month to month, or week to week preferably. By paying for their slots, they can actually promote the move to Spike the right way with plenty of time to do so. I dont even think its necessarily a bad idea to have both an FSN show (as long as it was on a better timeslot) and a Spike TV show. I wish TNA could talk FSN into having their show on an hour before Raw each Monday, which would moreless fill the same void of the WGN deal, without going head to head at all with WWE. 2) Pump up the syndicated network. It sounds like Xplosion is going to become Impact anyway so why not. They might be able to get more bang for their buck in this way versus having to take out a long term contract with FSN to renew from a financial perspective. Either/or way, TNA should have a second one hour show with unique content to compliment the other hour which would be on Spike, and this would be the one to do for syndication/FSN. The one hour a week formula to promote the ppvs, characters, angles, etc, has proven that in this day and age and with the roster they have, that TNA needs more than just the one hour, to me.

    TNA Slammiversary

Jarrett out of the main event? Do you have anymore info on this? I dont get it unless the Jarretts are leaving TNA? I'm shocked other places havent reported this....part of it seems like it could just be a cheap way to keep Jarrett out and he has an excuse for a one on one match for the NWA title next ppv, not sure if I like that idea. The card, top to bottom, looks great and I can't wait to check it out tomorrow. It's been depressing seeing the company at a virtual standstill and I'm sure that will affect the buyrate for this one unfortunately. But in a standstill, seeing new talent come in and old talent return is a definate positive step ahead, as well as Rhodes completely out of the company right now is probably a good thing. I hope TNA addresses the TV situation at this ppv, dare I say even announce a new deal or at least a return to FSN.

The One and Only Batman Begins thread

My eyes teared up a lot too but for different reasons. This movie had a lot of scenes where it would cut quickly to a drastically different set of colors. The constant switching between light and dark in some scenes made my eyes hurt. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah some of the scenes were hard on the eyes visually on the IMAX screen too as you can imagine. Some fight scenes for examples.

The One and Only Batman Begins thread

I went and saw this in a fucking IMAX theatre yesterday and lets just say I was blown away. Fantastic story and insane action which was definately amped up seeing it on that huge screen with top notch sound. If any of you live near one of these theatres, it's worth spending $14 for a ticket as it's different than just seeing a normal movie - the fact that this one in particularly was so immersing with the backstory of Batman as well as the astetics (sp?) made this one of my most favorites movies ever. Made ROTS seem like an afterthought to me. I'm probably the only one but the movie was so good it almost had me shedding tears a few times. Ending was a markout moment for sure with the card.

Early number of ONS buys in

If this does anywhere from 500,000-600,000 onward, I think serious consideration needs to be thought of eliminating the brand extension, turning Raw and Smackdown into one brand, and reviving ECW entirely, taking the ppvs of Smackdown essentially and if warranted (or even allowed by UPN and/or Spike) give it two hours a week, possibly in place of either Raw or Smackdown. The bet bet might be to possibly have one hour of Raw a week (with WWE), the other hour being ECW, and then do the same with the Thurs/Fri UPN slot. Otherwise they should in the very least give an hour to ECW on either Sat night Velocity slot and/or Sunday Night Heat slot, which will roll over to USA anyway. If the higher ups at the networks have a problem with it, I bet they wouldnt very much when they would be informed on the buy rate this ECW ppv gets. Bottom line is that number cannot be denied. I think if it would have gotten to what they expected (around 300,000) then it was clear the whole concept worked and they could consider occasional reunion shows maybe 3-4 times a year or less. But now if it gets a ridiculously high number (way more than ANY other non-Mania ppv including Invasion, which at the time was a huge success) they NEED to do more. Its just good financial sense and logic to do so. Plus it would get over alot of underutilized workers in WWE (so they would make $$$ for the company instead of floundering), add a paycheck to other workers from ECW past who could get over in this system (ie Heyman controlling this company much like him and Dreamer controlled this ppv). Plus they could easily kill off any last hope TNA would have to stay around if ECW came back, as I think they could easily take some of the good concepts from TNA (like a GOOD CW type division or X division built around the ECW TV title perhaps) and go with them. Also if that would kill off TNA, guys like Styles and such might have a strong chance to succeed in a WWE financed environment like this. Hell, if you really want to also, make Mania one of the annual times that ECW and WWE guys get together. Possibilities, be them bad or good, are endless.

One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread

Some notes/thoughts when watching the Benoit-Guererro match again.... Guererro might have been pissed at the end of the match due to the fact that Benoit probably had direct pressure on his broken nose in that crossface. Notice when he had the submission on him, Eddy moved his face (and nose) over a little bit after he got it on him. For what its worth though, how could either of them expect to have a good "japanese style" of a match in under 10 minutes? They would have needed 20-25 at least and of course been much more cooperative with each other and have laid out a much better match than what I saw there. Why the fuck was Bradshaw standing up and cheering Benoit like crazy at the end of the match? Maybe he was already drunk by then...
  18. RedJed

One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread

I think if Eddy/Benoit, and Rey/Nicho each had 5 more minutes at least, they might have been significantly better. Giving each under 10 minutes is like a slap in the face to what would be a typical ECW show. Eddy/Benoit realistically should have been 20-25 minutes to be honest, and at that rate they still would have went off ppv at only about 45 minutes after the hour. I just hate it when any ppv ends with about a half hour airtime still left. I would think the company would hate that too, as they are paying the ppv company for that airtime.

Just watching the replay here and it appears JBL and Meanie were fighting for real during that brawl or else they are two of the more realistic workers ever. Meanie ended up a fucking mess and Bradshaw seemed noticably fired up outside the ring in the aftermath.

Say what you will about Heyman (and I know there are always those who loathe the guy) but god damn, when he comes out to address the crowd on this ppv, that is one of the most memorable and emotional ECW moments fucking ever. If this truly is it for him (and make no mistake, Vince might very well let him go if that HHH comment hit a nerve with certain people) he sure as fuck went out with a bang.

One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread

I cant even imagine what the backstage was like at this show and even to a degree what is being discussed by WWE highers up like Vince and etc right now, in reference to this show. If they didnt see magic here, and if they dont follow up tomorrow in some form, then they all are truly inside their own little WWE bubble way too deep to escape out of it. I can't fucking wait to hear all the news from WWE Land based from this ppv - it's GOTTA change viewpoints, opinions and the future of the WWE conglomerant as a whole. At this point I wouldnt even be shocked to see Vince at least consider WWE as a whole eliminating the brand extension and bringing back ECW full time. Vengeance will no way, no how, get a better buy rate than this. Just saw Awesome-Tanaka again on the replay, what a fucking match. Commentary during it just as good as the action - Foley was putting over Awesome huge near the end when at first, both Foley and Styles were somewhat burying the guy (understandably so in a way).

One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread

Indeed, I'm still buzzed from watching it as it happened, and now watching the replay and still can't soak it all in. An emotional ride of sorts, most unique and worthwhile ppv done in years. It's shows like this that make me love this pseudo sport that we all follow. The promos were as strong if not stronger than the actual wrestling action at times and thats not a knock on the workrate - all in all a tremendous show that will take me awhile to really say I can comment further. Awesome-Tanaka was just off the chain and a complete redemption of sorts for Awesome when you think about it. Just about everything about the show was top notch. Matches, promos and quotes that will become memorable. Styles and Foley were strong, and I was freaking out like the ultimate mark when Styles was punking out Bischoff when they were calling the ppv together. To see/hear that happen "for real" or even sort of for real was just off the chain. Only real thing that bugged me wasnt necessarily Austin but somewhat how the ending went with Rey doing a 619, etc. It didnt get over in the match with Psicosis, why do it again and to nearly end the show? The show had almost a whole half hour extra they could have used for more time for some of the matches or something like a longer version of the celebration. But how fucking cool was it to see the show end with Sandman and Austin drinking beer together and then Styles saying "ECW Lives." WOW. Unreal. Will be interesting to hear live notes from the show since I bet there was a handful of other stuff they did/said off camera.
