Maybe he was one of the "other two" that was going to be suspended, but I heard that two turned into one, so Dinsmore may have been the "other." Who knows. JRs rant is fine and all, but nowhere in there does it suggest WWE was at fault for not catching the fact that these guys were on the shit and somehow, they cleared testing. It makes no fucking sense.

I'll post more later but I'm a ridiculous Halloween franchise fan and found little to no problems with this new version. I'm not going to compare it to the original because that is not the point here, this is supposed to be a different twist altogether. And it definately was to me. Zombie DID pretty much carve out (pardon the pun) a quite different and entertaining film here. The film WASNT almost "word for word, scene to scene" like the original after 25 minutes. If anything the backstory of Myers as a child went far too long, but thats my only real gripe with it. I dont get what some of you wanted out of this, can someone explain? Did you want a totally rehash of the original, a borderline part 9, or a new twist on the original, with Zombie paying homage to certain elements of the original but going in alot of his own different directions? I did want the third, and thats what I got, and for that, I was VERY satisfied.

The fact that Congressional hearings are about to start can't help the matter. I can picture every Representative in that committee taking McMahon and his lawyers to task from start to finish. The timing is just ironic as all hell. How are they going to explain this? "Umm, our doctors were apparently paid off by our workers to mask their results"? Thats about the only viable excuse I could come up with. Then the doctors would turn on McMahon and company so fast in an attempt to save themselves. I have a feeling Congress would take the word of a shady doctor over Vince McMahon 9 times out of ten. Exactly. Wow, not even Miracleworker Jerry McDevitt can save Vince this time, me thinks.

Ok so I might as well be the first to ask it - what is the odds here that we get another actual deal circa 93-94 or whenever that was? Where the company is taken to court and the whole nine yards. Its pretty much open and out there that either their testing was a smokescreen completely and actually was non-existant or else there was some serious cheating being done by the workers. Either way it makes the wellness policy into the biggest joke ever.

I think the deal is that the whole thing in itself was a joke and everyone was able to still take the shit and everything was acceptable, under the table. What makes me really confused though is that I thought it was independant testing from a reliable source? Wow, Vince may really be in for some deep shit here - could have been paying off these doctors to play off the tests as a-ok, etc.

OK so might as well start this.......how exactly is WWE going to handle this on TV? Is it possible they actually go on TV and publicly admit these guys were on the juice in the past and as such, are suspended? My guess is that we are going to see a mass exodus immediately or at best, they give them time to be on TV one last shot next week and do alot of stretcher jobs, etc. Otherwise its just going to be too unusual to explain all of these people gone, unless they do go the route and outright just say these guys are suspended at the top of the shows next week and then dont even mention their names on the actual shows themselves in commentary, etc. Now IF they give them another week to blow things off for these guys and give them the standard 30 day suspensions... -Morrison - does the clean job to Punk next week on ECW -Regal - possibly a match where he loses the commissioner spot, possibly to Sandman (just playing into the storyline from the battle royale he won) -Umaga - does the job to Jeff Hardy (which in itself is kind of hypocritical) or perhaps Carlito -Kennedy - probably some kind of mysterious stretcher job in the back -Booker - I have no freakin idea other than a HHH squash perhaps -Orton, storyline suspension for the attack on Cena's dad or else Cena goes bonkers and lays him out, stretcher job -Others, probably little to nothing for an acknowledgement, other than Haas/Benjamin doing the job to Kendrick/London -Batista (assuming he's going to be suspended - he's probably one of the two they are talking to tomorrow) - jobs out to Khali on Smackdown this week.

How can Edge be a surprise? His name pops up the most right alongside Rey, Benoit and Orton. I've never seen his name on any other lists before - where/when was this?

I'm also really shocked Edge was on the juice even as recent as February of this year. When he came back from a long injury waaaaay back when, you could tell he was on something, but for the last few years, he hasn't looked in the least bit on anything. I swear, it seems like damn near the whole roster, in one time or another, is going to be revealed as being on testosterone, more than likely. We're talking ONE place here - ONE, that guys were getting the shit from.

Where was this on? wwe.com? I just got home today and read all about this now and to say I'm blown away is an understatement. With the eyes on the company, they HAVE to fully suspend these guys immediately to make a point. Or else they might do the "not suspended from TV" deal and run another deal by 11/1, where if anyone is tested positive for anything, they are fully suspended. Hard to say how this will all be handled, but the aftermatch will sure be interesting. At least half of these names I am shocked to see/hear about. Regal? Chavo? Funaki? WTF?!

Punk beat Burke in an extreme rules match, IIRC. All I know is seeing those two in a normal match again does NOTHING to me. They dont click, completely. When things like that are apparent, its best to throw a gimmick in there - even a cage match would be fine, ANYTHING but a normal match.

Yup, a Smackdown in San Diego last year. They may be adding a gimmick to Orton/Cena 2 at Unforgiven, which would explain having Khali v. Rey at the ppv and moving Batista/Khali to No Mercy. And YES, I expect that match to be at the ppv - Rey v. Khali. I think they want Taker-Henry pushed as the main SD match this ppv. They aren't having a one night mini-tourney to just have a title match on Smackdown in a few weeks - this one will be more high profile than the previous match they had given Rey's return and everything. I would then guess Finley/Batista feud in the off-time which sounds completely bland as ever to me, but what else is there?! I wish Batista would get in the mix of the Taker return as well as a tweener, since he would have unfinished business with him AND Henry (given the fact Henry injured Batista way back then and they never blew that feud off due to a Henry injury, IIRC) - that would make things at least a bit interesting with his character a bit. Finlay-Kane feuding can continue for all I care. Where da fuck is Flair? Still selling Khali's shit?

Solid show tonight, they gotta pull the trigger on Extreme Rules Punk v. Morrison at Unforgiven since the gimmick match for Smackdown's belt obviously isnt happening at this ppv (see SD spoilers). Punk HAS to win though, this chase is reaching its stretch for sure and Morrison just isnt clicking right now as champ, so they NEED to change it up here next ppv.

Someone needs to tell this website to stop with the random BS rumors about TNA - this same site reported the shit with the X division title being dropped, etc. In the Observer I just got today in the mail it states it WONT be Jarrett v. Angle at BFG, but another match on top involving Angle. Heavy speculation on Lesnar, which might make sense considering they would probably bring in Sable to counteract Karen Angle, also. Personal pick for the BFG main event would be Angle v. Lesnar v. Samoa Joe

I like the idea of a Sting/Angle team, but otherwise, whoa, horrible sounding results on paper here. The 3-D laying out Steiner might be ok too, but generally speaking, the booking is all over the place here, and doesnt sound that tremendous at all to lead-in to the next ppv.

This roster isnt THAT depleted. Give Flair a fucking partner and have them feud with D & D or something, sheesh. I'm just so tired of the feuding tag partners bit, irrelevent if I like the workers in the role. It's just not creative when we've seen it three times in either TNA or WWE in the last 5-6 months.

Guess nobody provided damage control counceling for Rey Rey before the interview. Shocked they didnt considering he was so publicly mentioned as a clear user of roids, for prescription/rehab purposes or not. I mean cmon, for a good 2-3 years now, the guy has CLEARLY been juicing. He's actually lucky the reporter(s) didnt attack him further because they sure could have. They shouldnt even have him on shows anyway before his return, much less in a forum such as this one.

Wrong. 2003 was worse. You don't want to see Morrison vs Punk? 03 had a decent Lesnar/Angle match and the Elimination Chamber as the co-main events. Compare this to Orton-Cena and what, Booker-HHH or Batista/Khali? This card, on paper - BLOWS. I'd rather see Umaga v. Kennedy v. Carlito over anything, but yet not going to shell out $40 for that at all. Nothing here on this card is really grabbing me. If the HHH and Rey returns would be against someone fresh and a really strong program behind it, to boot, that would have probably helped the overall feel of this one. Basically, I just get the vibe like it's "just another ppv" or something. Orton/Cena will probably be pretty good given the praise its been getting on house shows, but I can't see anything else here as really THAT good. I havent been impressed with any of the Morrison/Punk series of matches, sadly, so, no, I dont really want to see it. I hate to say it, but that is a match that really needed a gimmick attached to it (extreme rules maybe?). The ppv might actually deliver, but not confident enough it will to throw down da cheddar on it. First SummerSlam I'll miss on ppv in it's history.

Jeez, I mean I thought Schiavonie was fine and all in this one promo, but can we say overreaction? He's a fucking announcer, you want him as TNA's number one heel?!! Granted, he may be fun as Tenay's sidekick on commentary as a heel, but thats about it. BTW, I totally disagree with any viewpoint that Tenay should not be the TNA play by play man. Take Don West out of the equation and we could all handle him much better.

No, he is still coming off unsure of himself and forced in that role a bit, borderline bland, and he needs to lose the belt and the company needs to work on developing this character a bit more to stand out to the level they want him to stand out. Without the pressure of him as champ, he will probably do alright with it post-SS. 2. They aren't there yet but its getting there. Within 6 months, if they keep going in the direction they are, maybe bring in a handful of newbies, we might have something here worth building ratings and having more than one ECW match on multi-brand ppvs. We might as well forget the idea that ECW will ever have their own ppv again, though. The company is just past this idea at this point for any of the brands. And no matter how good we would think the booking would be on this show, ECW is always going to be third string. Overall a very fun show tonight. ME was ten times better than I had expected. Starting to really give a shit about just about everyone on this roster as well as their programs they are building within it. They found something worthwhile as far as roles for Balls Mahoney and Stevie Richards, unbelievable. For the most part, the old Heyman addage is in tact here - plain and simple, play on the wrestlers strengths. It aint rocket science. I guess we should be thanking Dusty Rhodes?

Lil FYI, two people walked out of Invasion when I went to see it on Sat, bout 2/3 of the way through.

So you disagree with my thoughts on the movie, but sounds like you pretty much echoed my sentiments, other than that you dont like Kidman. Note that I didnt comment that I thought she did a good job in it at all....she didnt. I had no idea what was the original directors stuff and what wasnt, so I couldnt enjoy much of anything because of disjointed mess it was. Everything that had promise in it was tore back down in no time by counteracting BS. Yeah, the annoucement of Craig in Bond happened as this was being filmed back in 05, apparently. I also would like to see the original cut, actually. Although it's hard to say if it would have helped - we will probably never know unless we break this piece of shit down scene by scene and determine who did what. Maybe they will release both ala the Exorcist prequal.
