Oh jesus, the "the drugs aren't mine" excuse - fucking convenient, indeed. Her mom is about 10x worse of a fucking mental case/doper than Lindsey likely is herself, too. Her mom doesnt give two shits - this is the same dear mother that waited two weeks til she was in treatment to see her. Talk about dysfunctional family and a half. But what pisses me off so much about this whole thing is the lack of responsibility bitches like Lohan take when push comes to shove. Ultimately she may be a product of a fucked up family, but still, it's time to grow the fuck up. "Oh, it wasn't mine" - is she that fucking far gone that she thinks anyone is buying that, especially after the last bust, which saw them find coke in her car as well? Her mug shot alone shows she was fucking wrecked that night off a variety of drugs, more than likely. Unless treatment before arraignment changes her mindset dramatically, she is going to probably get a decent sentence as I wouldnt be at all surprised the hollywood "justice system" might keep trying to make a point to the media by forcing the hand to action here if she's just going to act like little miss innocent in all this, shit might hit the fan. Didnt Paris get the jail time JUST for one incident of driving with a suspended licence? Lohan has about five more counts ON TOP of that, two felonys included. Granted, some of those charges may be dropped, but only if she's one humble biatch.

Same here - I'm just not seeing it. Robert Downey, Jr, on the other hand, I think is talented as all fuck. And hey, I dont think anyone is saying that hollywood isnt full of drugs, partying, and the like. The issue is this chick is so out of control that her publicists, managers, etc, they all can't control her or even put a relatively positive spin on situations. The bitch shouldnt even be driving a car for fuck's sake. And if you are wearing a alcohol intake monitor, wouldn't it make sense to, ya know, NOT DRINK? We're not acting like this never happens before with actors, we're just observing the absurdity of this little girl who refuses to grow up and be responsible. It's more abnormal than your typical hollywood case given her reckless behavior. This doesn't happen that often, really. It just annoys me that people like her then won't take responsibility for her actions (ie "I'm innocent") more than anything - ok it wasn't your coke, you apparently weren't drinking (?), and you weren't the one chasing down the person, it was the other way around? How does that work when said person you are chasing was driving to the goddamn cop shop and calling 911 out of fear of Lohan's behaviour? If she acts this unreasonable and unstable in court, she's fucked.

I know they like Burke and Cor Von more...looks like Morrison has moved ahead of him also.....I should have put Punk's 4th not that 4 guys were ahead of him. It was on several sites credited to the observer awhile back that Burke and Cor Von were much higher thought of than Punk. I guess that explains why Burke jobs to Punk in EVERY match they have and why Cor Von hasn't been on TV since he jobbed to Punk about a month ago. When a show is full of heels you can only push one at a time.....but Punk is the one jobbing in the high profile matches..... If they hated him so much like you insist they do, they wouldn't put him in the spot to begin with. Did you ever consider he's the number one guy BY DEFAULT, not because they are so high on him? If Punk really was thought high of, the finishes to both matches he had with Nitro would have been much more schmozy, or not clean as they were. Plus on top of it, the guy was made to look like a chump last week on ECW by Morrison in the angle at the end of the show. Normally, you would think that means Punk goes over on the ppv, but instead he jobbed out EXTREMELY weak. I can think of a handful of other jobs they had Punk do that were just blantantly ridiculous, considering they apparently wanted to push this guy, or currently were. If they had faith in him, they'd give him the mic and let him have at it. They have no faith in anyone else on the face side, Punk included, Benoit was SUPPOSED to be that saving grace for the babyface side. To state Punk hasnt had or even still does have heat in the locker room and that it doesnt convert to treatment in a push is showing your ignorance towards the situation. Yeah, they will put him in a "sell tickets" position to a degree, but they won't pull the trigger completely. This has happened so many times in the past in WWE to guys that the fans respond to incredibly, but politicis get in the way, that all of us should know the formula by now.... Anyway, enjoyed the show tonight, Stevie got a win over Thorn (who I cannot stand) but dont expect miracles here, guys, he might get a nice program with Thorn or something, but thats probably it. This Miz nonsense is ridiculous, I can't tell if they are trying to have him heel up or what, but then the next thing we know the girls are oogling over him, which normally means they want him as a face. Confusing character development there. Im probably in the minority, but I thought the Big Daddy V squash match was GREAT. If its going to be a squash match, it might as well be something like that. The tag match was alright, nothing that special but fun. Punk looked tremendous at the end there in the win, intense offense there. Burke sold that G2S like a fucking superstar there as well. Oh, and can we be more creative than having another hometown challenge angle?

We have seen how ECW has been with Vince's hands all over it......nuff said...... Yes indeed, because Vince wasnt able to run it before it collapsed, that led to its downfall......is that what you are trying to say? If so, WOW.

There is alot of "what if" variables to that WCW question about it being a seperate company after WWE bought it out, and at its core, my answer would be that it would be very similar to ECW by the time all is said and done. But "what if" Vince truly wanted it to succeed and took all McMahon hands off the WCW product and had an entire seperate company basically run it from top to bottom (with the exception perhaps being the production)? Then it might have done something.

IIRC, the SummerSlam build most years HAS seen a decent increase in ratings for Raw, as well. The next four weeks will sure be telling.....

Is TNA still taking a cut from their workers outside bookings and/or are they also still almost being somewhat their own manager for such bookings, meaning the company has to approve the booking before the worker can agree to it? If so, I can't imagine how they still word their performers are still "independant contractors" in their contracts. Someone from the company should really stand up for such BS. Wasn't TNA also providing health insurance at one time or another as well?

Hard to say if thats the "minimum core fanbase" - that number could very well always keep dropping ever so slightly whenever. Seems like the company may have lost a chunk of fans from the Benoit situation, perhaps. Or they have been less than impressed with the product since they dropped the Vince angle (which I am one of those people, actually). The singular thing that has caught my attention on Raw was the Orton/Rhodes angle and thats about it.

Ok so this former writer likes Lashley, that much we know. That's a whole other issue for another time. I do agree with him, though, that either Lashley or Cena or maybe even BOTH turning heel is the way to go. He's right - Cena as the happy-go-lucky, (not so funny) jokeman, ma and pa babyface is STALE AS FUCK. I'm sick of seeing every ppv end with "OMG Cena overcomes the odds again, good god almighty!" even though his in-ring work is acceptable enough in the process. But it just gets SO repetitive. One thing is certainly clear, someone other than Batista, HHH or CM Punk needs to start a serious compelling chase to one of the world titles. And I could and would even accept Cena in that role, especially if they changed up his personality a bit to not be so freakin cheesy or something. Its just really hard to take the guy seriously on top, especially with that spinner belt, when thats not even anywhere close to his gimmick anymore. Shit, even at the bare minimum, I would accept Cena as a heel against HHH going into next year's Mania. But it seems almost a virtual lock that, barring any controversy in the next month, Orton will be the guy to take it here. I'm really indifferent on that to the max, as I've seen him stepping up his game (Orton) but as I said before, it's a huge issue to give the guy who has been a problem child in the biggest sense of the word the win over the guy they have been overtly pushing like crazy as champ for almost a year now. All in all, the dynamic with the WWE title and its champion/contenders is really not cohesive as it should be. Blame injuries for that a bit if you want, but overall, having Shawn Michaels around or not isnt really going to make things anymore interesting.

I have to agree - for all of the BS the guy has pulled backstage this year, he's really stepping his game up right now, both in ring and on the mic. I also fear the crowd turning on Cena bad at SummerSlam and going with Orton. When Orton was named the number one contender last night, I saw many a person in the crowd literally going apeshit upon hearing the news.

Hell, at the time the first Blair Witch came out, I wasnt even on the net or reading much about it, in terms of that it was a "mockumentary" - actually thought it was legit, so when I saw it in the theater, did I ever freak the fuck out.

Might as well post this, from tmz.com..... Lindsay Lohan might be adding a whole lotta striped jumpsuits to her wardrobe. Already facing charges for driving under the influence (DUI) and misdemeanor hit and run in Beverly Hills, Lindsay racked up even more charges last night in Santa Monica, and is now facing big-time jail time. The maximum sentence she faced for the original DUI and hit and run charges was 6 months for each. Last night, Lindsay was charged with another DUI -- if convicted of both DUIs, she could face up to one year in jail. And the horror doesn't stop there! She was also charged with possession of cocaine, which is a felony and carries a maximum of three years in jail. La Lohan is accused of driving on a suspended license as well, which carries a maximum of one year in jail. Her frenemy Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days for the same offense. As far as the allegation of bringing cocaine into a correctional facility -- our sources tell us that this charge will most likely be dropped, because it is only enforced if someone transports drugs to an inmate in custody. La Lohan didn't willingly go to jail last night! Judges don't take kindly to arrestees whose crimes occur so close together -- so it's quite possible that the proverbial book will be thrown at her. In a worst case scenario, Lilo could face SIX YEARS in jail!

So no charges were filed at all from that May incident? I just read this morning she had court for it on Aug. 24 in some capacity.....fuck, they found coke in her crashed car. I could understand them not being able to charge her on a DUI for that one perhaps, but fleeing the scene of an accident as well would be another charge for that one.

She's gotten busted with coke twice in less than a month, AND two DUIs. I dont know how California law it, but here in MN, you get busted drinking and driving twice and you are pretty much seeing jail time and some serious public service time/drug court/etc. Plus the coke counts are felony charges, I believe. Hell, she is still awaiting arraignment on her PREVIOUS shit and then this happened. Ironically, she will be arraigned on all of her shit now on the same day, about a month from now. I hope she gets some serious time. Can't fucking stand her, even more than Paris. Did anyone hear the shit that someone apparently broke into her place and stole porno pictures of her or something too?

Just a quick line.....had the day off and rented the film Premonition, with Sandra Bullock. HIGHEST recommendation to AVOID. The thick plot holes in this film make it one of the singlemost unentertaining and uninteresting films I've seen in years. I guess they were trying to sell a story of faith as the main point of the movie, but it got totally lost in a major clusterfuck of a story that pretty much made no sense.

This angle would be better suit for another ppv anyway - they're gonna need ideas for some of the other ppvs later in the year to stand out anyway. Good riddance for now, even though I think Im in the minority as one who actually wants to see the Jackass crew in some angle at some point.

I could see them have a match on Raw, but I would assume something more significant for Lashley than that at SS. I hate to say it, but Snitsky?

The going plan is Orton holds it til Mania and drops it to HHH, with Cena always harboring close in the title hunt, so I'd expect some triple threat matches thrown in there, possibly even at Mania itself. I have zero interest in any of the suggested scenarios by the way - Orton v. Cena, Cena v. HHH, Orton v. HHH, or triple threat with all of them. And they want this on top of the Raw brand until Mania? Ugh.
