Why not? She never died and was connected to Graham Bauer in the first attempt at killing President Palmer (I believe at the end of season 2 IIRC - wasn't she shown talking on the phone to Graham or am I thinking of someone else) - it would totally tie into things from the past. Some news on the upcoming film and rest of this season, from darkhorizons.com Director Jon Cassar, who has shot more than a full two seasons of the hit series "24", has talked to iF Magazine about the remainder of Season Six and the plans for the still in the works movie version. In regards to the film he says "It won't happen in the hiatus this year. It is in the script stage right now, there is a script" and he confirms that "The way it's written now, there's no connection [to the series narrative], but that might change" The real time concept will be used in the film after all, but only partially - "I think the idea is to do an hour of it that sets it up where you can go around the world and set up a story in normal film time, and probably the last hour will be in real time" Would he direct? "They've talked to me about directing, there's no deal in place, and I really don't want to say until there is one" he says. At present they're currently shooting Episode 18 of the sixth season at the moment. He revealed that Audrey (Kim Raver) is being talked about in regards to returning and her character gets mentioned in a surprising way sometime in episodes next month. The bargain with the Chinese to get back Jack will come back into play several more times, and President Palmer will stay in Washington though more than one person looks likely to be transferring between the LA & Washington locations in the season.

 Indeed - hilarious. First, putting people on ignore because they don't agree with your views on a certain show? Ooooooook. Start a new thread, how would that work (critical or negative opinions are BANNED!?!!)? PM posters who like the show - I think damn near all of us HAVE liked the show at one time or another so whats the point. Ugh.....why can't people get a life and stop worrying about CLEARLY an issue that shouldn't be ANYWHERE near the big deal some are making it out to be here? ITS A FUCKING DISCUSSION FORUM PEOPLE.

One thing from last night that intruiged me that really wasnt mentioned - Alex is apparently Ben's kid, but this IS the same Alex that is actually Rosseau's kid that was taken, correct? That is an upcoming story that has potential at some point, for sure.

Well he did book the shows w/ D'Amore and a few other commitee members earlier this year. Did those shows meet the wrestling criteria? Hard to say....there were some good and bad. Speaking of him, is D'Amore even still WITH TNA? My thoughts on the whole booking deal is that IF the company is demanding damn near everyone is represented in an hour presentation weekly, I can see why the shows are like they are in a sense. That still doesnt excuse Russo's booking practices, though. Bottom line is this - the company has refused to take a look back at their booking history and WAKE UP. Mantel was hardly a top notch guy in creative, Russo was a mixed bag in his TNA run, but the bottom line with Russo is he needs a qualified filter and/or sidekick to really make things plausable. Again, from the past, Mantel or Jarrett are NOT the guys to filter or be his sidekick in creative. If Jerry Jarrett was still around, perhaps he would fit well with Russo as they seemed to have done some good booking back in 03 when they were partnering up. Simply put, much like people in creative need to play upon the strengths of each person in the company, the bookers need to be used for their strengths as well. My thought is that Cornette being Russo's filter would be the best solution, with Jarrett and Mantel virtually eliminated from the committee altogether. Tenay, I believe, is back in the mix again, and honestly I would allow him to book the X division from top to bottom.

Nope, she was a different actress. That's what I thought too initially, but they do look awfully similar. The lady in the Desmond story just looked like an older version of the same person. It would make perfect sense for her to be in Desmond's story, though, all things considered. As far as all this wining about people being critical of the show, I honestly must say that this is a discussion forum - not a "sunny happy shiny positive-filled pick me up forum" - anyone and everyone has all the right in the world to say what they want to say about the show. negative AND positive. If it bothers you to see some negative responses to things, I think people really need to get a life, its a fucking discussion forum for god's sakes! I don't see anyone really maliciously attacking things about the show without merit. I still will watch it every week I'm sure, but my thoughts is that it just doesnt have that same "fire" it used to. That cannot be denied. Look at the ratings drop.....read the articles explaining WHY that is......it's not really a big deal but the show just isn't consistently, at this point, the groundbreaking presentation it used to be. Even mainstream pop culture shows like G4's "Attack of the Show" recently had a blip along the lines of Heroes > Lost. It shouldnt be surprising or even questioned why some of us are being critical at this point when these same sentiments aren't just being shared here, but all over the country, even in mainstream media.

Too bad about SNME being cancelled, I was curious to see how they would have fared being aired in the traditional late night SNL timeslot. Also, it was a pretty big deal to have to build to Mania from it. But then again they can just continue to build strong on their normal TV shows and not have to worry about adding another loaded show to the mix right now. If it means they get more WWE specials later this year for agreeing to nix this special, it's probably for the best.

Pardon the ignorance if this has already been posted, but WWE is to release WrestleMania III: Collectors Edition (or something called close to that) on 3/6. Apparently there will be special features tagged to the event, although I havent found, nor heard, what those special features would be. Could be a fun pickup that I most certainly will look into. Does anyone have any info on this?

Ahhh makes sense now, I thought he meant they literally had the same marking, not the same general idea/purpose of such markings.
-
I took that as he meant he is not an outsider to the Others or doesnt want to be portrayed as such, I could be way off though but I think that was meant to speculate that he's gotten closer to the clan and feels like one of their own, at least portrayed to them. Of course he's swerving though and just trying to save Juliet. I missed where Jack and Juliet's marking are one of the same though. Can someone explain this as I saw two completely different designs and whatnot.

Something about the tattoos are that they meant "one of us but not with us" or something like that, so my assumption is she would "read" a person and mark them if they were bad spirits or something. I dunno - it was all a little over construed and made little sense, really. Count me in with thinking that this show has definately lost a ton of luster this season. I loved last weeks show and it was so frustrating to see this week's follow up be so......blah. I'll still watch week to week but with alot less interest and anticipation than I used to give it. Also, I dont really care what Jack is up to w/ the Others. Apparently he's heeling up a bit to play to them, all for Ben to honor the release of her down the road. It's all soooo not mysterious at all as you know what his intentions are, although I think they are trying to make us think he may eventually "join them." Whatever....

Watched the show tonight and I was impressed, definate electric feel to the show with the Mania build. Crowd was hot. About as good of a show as you can expect from WWE these days. Main event was pretty decent and went about 15 minutes plus IIRC.

Take a look at the booking. The matches might look good, but the booking is terrible. I can hardly tell shit from a booking end going by these results. It gives no match times, no information on the matches themselves, etc.
-
I think they were taping for two hours worth there. Apparently I'm in the minority, but how are these spoilers so horrible? This doesnt sound that bad really at all. Joe gets his title shot at the next ppv, Angle/Steiner is official, Styles/Rhino is the new scaffold match idea, and we get Lynn/Sabin and Sting/Abyss again. And we get which might be a fun ladder match and gaunlet, given the fact we got little to no details on matchtime or what all happens in each match. I'm all for being critical when critical is deserved, but I don't see whats worth bashing on in these spoilers. Calling these results or the booking of them "insane" is a stretch when so little is revealed here if you ask me. Sure the ppv last night was mediocre, but this sounds like a step in the right direction to me, towards the next ppv at least. I'll reserve judgment on the shows until I see them.

Anyone know where or when the Raw feed from Canada would be avaliable on a torrent site after the show is done? Forgive my ignorance, I don't need or want to download torrents much but I definately want to see Raw before Thursday this week.

The last three matches saved the show from being one of the worst TNA monthly ppvs ever, IMO. Lynn/Sabin - context of the match was good, but that finish just was extremely annoying, seeing that we see that once a week, if not more, on WWE/ECW shows. Sting/Abyss was a fun and pretty wild match that actually worked for me. I figured the gimmick was going to be too over the top to work, but bringing in the unexpected barbed wire spots and such added to it, and it started out strong with the brawling OUTSIDE the arena in a makeshift setup out there. Thought it was both Sting's best work I've seen in TNA so far, and one match that kept Abyss strong too. ME was pretty boring to sit through, at least for the first 10 or so minutes, as it was nothing that was neither better or worse than their previous WWE matches, but that "style" they used to work over there was still prevalent here and it just seemed like the same shit different day as I imagined when hearing about these two working a match again after their unimpressive exchanges in WWE. That said, it did pick up alot more as the match passed 10 minutes, and it was alright. Although the way this was booked, in a way I just envisioned Jarrett in Christian's position in how the match was worked, as the structure seemed way too similar with a few ref bumps and couple run ins as many Jarrett title matches ended up being. But I'm probably just being too critical. It was good when all was said and done. Joe/Christian and Steiner/Angle w/ whatever this new X division match is for the next ppv sounds alright on paper. Probably another Styles/Rhino match too.

Lynn/Sabin was dissapointing. They used the passe WWE "hold the ropes" finish - horribly uncreative. They are spending waaaay too much time on this Eric Young nonsense.
-
Lynn/Sabin next....pretty much the only reason I'm watching this in the first place.
-
Nash about Traci: "Is that a diaper she wears on her top?" Wow I've seen much better acting in porn than the Traci/Young footage. Backlund BONZO GOOOONZO run-in as Nash looks like he's about to crack up sitting there.
-
Rhino knocks himself out through a table trying to gore Styles. Lucky win for Styles. Solid match though. So they are likely continuing this feud til Lockdown or so.
-
Earl Hebner just did a babyface turn or something in the chain match. Odd. This match has gotten alot better though.
-
I think they may have in ROH but not sure.
-
So far nothing special with this chain match.
-
Do they archive WOL anywhere right after the show is done? Interesting to hear they will be on there.
-
Fucking Tenay got as close to JR spaz out mode as he ever has in that last match. He was overselling every second.
-
Whoa scary heel tactic by Torborg before this next crap.......he takes tears up a Lance Hoyt action figure. This is just some really bad first hour stuff here overall.
