What I don't get about this whole Michael Michaels controversy is why Reggie Bush would need a marketing agency in the first place, he and Leinart already have ESPN.

It reminds me of Kiper last year and his "when Mike Williams is giving his acceptance speech for the Hall of Fame..." rant, because Williams went at 10 while Kiper had him at number 1.

What I don't get is how even a single person could have found anything in the trailers appealing, making them want to see it. "OH wow they are making fun of Tom Cruise how awesomely fresh and original! Oh and don't forget about Leslie Neilsen's cornhole!".

ESPN's "NFL draft preview special" has been about half USC/Bush/Leinart worship, and half Dallas Cowboys season preview/"can TO and Parcells get along?" speculation.

incidentally, did anyone else find the most annoying part of Sunday's broadcast to be when one of the announcers (I think it was Nance) layed out this ridiculous scenario of things that had to happen for Woods to get back in it? It involved Mickelson missing what looked to be a routine putt, then Woods making every single shot down the stretch. Then a couple of seconds later, Mickelson makes his putt and Woods misses and that was the last we heard about that.

I stopped watching that draft insider show after they spent 25 minutes talking about Bush and Leinart, and the next segment after the break was going to be an interview with Houston's GM where I'm sure they basically asked him to fellate Reggie Bush a little bit more.

I expect Davis to make a serious run at the US Open title this year at Winged Foot. In fact if I were going to bet, I'd probably be putting money on him and Phil.

RVD-Cena makes sense because then the WWE can also run a HHH-Edge feud which looks like it could be promising, with the winner of that being the natural challenger for the title at Summerslam.

I belong to the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation at the University of Oregon. We are the 3rd oldest union of graduate student teachers in the country. I'm currently a steward for the mathematics department and this coming year I am probably going to be nominated (unopposed) for the position of overseeing our health trust (i.e. the fund that pays for our health care plan). We have a really strong union that has done a great job earning us strong contracts with the university and an effective health care plan. We are also a major force in AFT-Oregon (despite the fact that a lot of the other unions hate us and think we are "just a bunch of kids making trouble") and at the most recent AFT-OR convention we pushed through most of our agenda.

Those of you who don't have Nicklas Lidstrom winning the Norris trophy must be watching a different sport or something. The only question right now is whether or not he takes all the first place votes.

Phaneuf beating out Lundqvist (who's a legitimate Vezina trophy candidate right now) in the Calder voting would be ridiculous.

Phaneuf is easily the most overrated player in the NHL right now. I'd say Todd Bertuzzi except everyone has figured out that he sucks by now.

The NBA draft is going to be awesome for Crash TV factor now as Redick spirals down the board and Vitale gets more and more steamed and starts arguing with the other hosts. The first Dicky V blowup will occur when a European player is picked and Redick is still there.

If you liked the Matrix movies, you will probably like this. If you didn't, you probably won't. It's got the Wachowski Bros. fingerprints all over it. What's funny is that from what I've seen, this movie has been getting good reviews in the USA and HORRIBLE reviews in the UK.

I for one would love to have Test back for the unintentional comedy factor related to his "acting". I don't know if I've ever laughed so much at someone's pathetic attempt to be serious and menacing as when Test grabbed Trish and told her "I don't take no for an answer" only to be confronted by Nash (leading to a match that brought us one step closer to the apocalypse).

You'd think that post-apocalyptic, dystopic futures with tyrannical governments was such a novel concept that it just had to be about bashing the USA the way some people have responded to this movie (that one link that got posted was a good example).

I can't wait until we play the Iggles and TO burns them for 150 yards and 3 touchdowns
