Some of those are arguable using the "conference champions bonus" approach. Hell, if he put Boise State 6th, he's got an instant defense: "you all said you wanted more respect for the undefeated mid-major teams".
-
Funny, this has absolutely nothing to do with there being a playoff or not. Because even if there were it would probably be 4 or 8 teams and Cal would still be shut out. And even if it was 16 teams, what makes you so sure Cal would get to play in a better bowl than the one they are in anyway?

This is not your typical WWE year end poll
Hogan Made Wrestling replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in The WWE Folder
One "great" homoerotic moment, which either happened earlier this year or maybe last year, was an evolution promo where Orton posed and flexed, and Triple H rubbed his hand across Orton's ribs from behind. It was straight out of Michaels-era DX. -
My post was pure sarcasm, making fun of the thread.

How did they get screwed? They had the same record as UW, and since they lost to UW they lose the tie-breaker and UW wins the pac-10. Duh. They got screwed because they were a Pac-10 team and didn't end up in the title game. If it wasn't for the "East Coast bias" the title game this year would be USC vs. Cal since everyone knows Cal is better than Oklahoma and Auburn.
-
Not only that but they played a close game against a good Ohio State team.
-
He's saying the exact same stuff everyone else was saying last year. People never like having their arguments thrown back in their faces it seems.
-
The voters had OU and USC 1 and 2. The Computers matched up the same teams. How did it not produce the right match!? What was the right match!? Three-way game on a triangular field. Of course, all the Pac-10 homers will claim that non-conference champion Cal should be there with the other three, despite arguing loudly against non-conference champion Oklahoma last year.
-
Years that can be argued: 2003 (Oklahoma) 2001 (Nebraska) Very marginal argument possible: 2000 (Florida State) Top 2 teams were matched up: 2004 2002 1999 1998 "almost every year" my ass.
-
It's happened ONCE, under a strange set of circumstances. On the other hand, it's matched up several undefeated teams that would have never played each other under the old system, and would have prevented what happened in 1997 and 1994. People seriously need to wash the sand out of their vaginas when it comes to the BCS.
-
Texas vs. Michigan for the first time ever presents a pretty interesting matchup.
-
Funniest thing about the BCS whining: somehow college football has become a "joke" under the BCS system, despite far less split champions than under the old system. Hell, if we went back to the traditional style, Cal wouldn't even have a sniff at a Big 4 bowl, and we would have to see USC-Michigan, Oklahoma-Piitsburgh, and Auburn-Virginia Tech.
-
So the BCS picked one 1-loss team that finished 2nd in their conference over another. Big deal. All this really comes down to a big payday for the school that gets in, it doesn't mean anything more. Neither of these teams is playing for the championship.

You lose all credibility by trying to pass off this statement.

It looks like Ted Ginn Jr. should give Bush some competition for that record in the next few years.

The main reason Bush won't get it, and probably won't even get nominated, is that USC has decided to ignore him and throw the full weight of their media machine on Leinart. Also, Leinart had a huge game against Notre Dame, which shouldn't really mean anything more than Bush's game against UCLA, but does because people still have a fixation with ND.
-
What they really need to do is get rid of divisions, and have every team run a conference championship between their top two teams regardless of who they are.

So Bonds admits to using steriods "Unknowingly"
Hogan Made Wrestling replied to MikeJordan23's topic in Sports
It wasn't against MLB rules at the time, so it's practically no different than if Bonds admitted he used extacy or something. -
His WWE name is "Koshrow"

My respect level for this folder has gone down exponentially upon learning you are involving yourselves in the faggotry of the blog universe. Blogs are supposed to be for people who lack the debating skills to post their opinions on a message board.

How many of you

How on earth does that happen? I wear the same one every day, in fact I don't even take it off, and the thing still looks brand new. -

I wear one because as a cyclist I think the LAF is something we (meaning cyclists in particular, and others in general) should all support. I must say I'm getting sick of seeing tons of people wearing them just because they saw their favorite celebrity with one though. I've been wearing one since long before the Olympics which is wear it really took off as a fad. I have given away a few extras, but only to people who are legitimately interested in the cause (one person I know had a friend who was a cancer survivor, so I gave her one to give to her - she wanted to pay me for it but I refused to take any money). -
