TV shows you like well enough to own on DVD
El Psycho Diablo replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I'd kill for Voltron, as well as Getter Robo/Getter Robo G (which was Starvengers in the US. I had the movie version on VHS years ago. Can't find it for sale now, unfortunately.) -
I can't reccomend MoH, because of EA's fucking around with the Xbox. No Live play, and MoH looks like crap compared to Rainbow Six. Add in the fact that Six is more than your average "carry ten guns at once and kill everything" FPS..

Scott Keith gave HHH/HBK ****3/4
El Psycho Diablo replied to TheOriginalOrangeGoblin's topic in The WWE Folder
Now, wait a moment. He gave actual reasons WHY he didn't like Benoit/Lesnar, and you retaliate with an insult to something that's entirely off the subject. Benoit isn't the best actor in the world, or even in the federation. It's more than believable that someone didn't like his selling. Just because a lot of the IWC is too attached to the guy to notice his faults dosen't mean everyone does. As much as I dislike Trips, when he feels like selling he can..even though he's injured half the time, so it may have been legit pain. Who knows? -
I've noticed something. Every incarnation of this list has Mark Henry in it. Haven't people here learned yet that he's got a very long-term high dollar contract? He's not going anywhere anytime soon. It's not like they'll pay him what it'd cost to fill the rest of the contract, anyway.

Here are two great deals on video games...
El Psycho Diablo replied to Downhome's topic in Video Games
Are the CC prices good online, or just in-store? -
Goldberg's "character" is the biggest lie I ever heard. Never jobbing and making everyone else in the fed look weak counts as a character? He's Austin?
-
Project Gotham 2 > GT4.
-
Austin coming back is a good thing? Not enough crippled, invincible non-wrestlers putting themselves over the talent, I suppose.
-
I'll wait until they find Bin Laden to be impressed.
-
Looks like a decent show. Jado loses, which is a big plus.
-
*snickers* Remeber the celebration around here when Jericho won "the big one"? Prepare for dissapointment, kids.

Seeing as insomnia has hit lately, and I've got a load of these themes, I've decided to upload a few. I'll leave them up for a day or two, and post more if there's any interest. Starting with mostly Muta/Mutoh themes: NJPW - Keiji Mutoh (Champion at Heart) NJPW - Keiji Mutoh (Hold Out 1st) NJPW - Keiji Mutoh (Hold Out 2nd) NJPW - Keiji Mutoh (Outbreak) NJPW - Keiji Mutoh (Triumph) NJPW - Keiji Mutoh (nWo Triumph) AJPW - Keiji Mutoh (Trans Magic) These two I have no clue what the names are, so if someone knows.. NJPW - Great Muta NJPW - Great Muta (2)

I could really care less about MA content anyway. (Considering there's no way to limit the mech weight-class in game, for one..and two, it pales to the PC Mechwarrior series.) I've had far, far less problems with Microsoft than say..EA.

I can't say I'm watching anything currently. Finished Gundam SEED, as well as the three MSG movies a while back. Just got through with Angelic Layer (and though it's completely opposite from the stuff I usually watch) it's a good little show. I'd like to start another series, but I'm not sure what at the moment.

I've got a couple of CIMA's, but I don't think I have that one.

The ME's going to be the HHH match, assuming he's still able to walk by that point. Not saying this to be typically smarky or bitter or whatever, it's just reality. The guy's considered the #1 star in the company at this point. If they do wind up doing the Benoit/Lesnar feud, he's not going to win the belt. It's just to take up time between now and RR, where they'll likely wind up setting Lesnar's Mania opponent.

LOTR: The Two Towers Special Extended DVD
El Psycho Diablo replied to The Dames's topic in Television & Film
Spoiler (Highlight to Read): The way the movie is set up, you don't really get the feel for time you do in the books. Frodo had the Ring for years before he even left the Shire. He's had a wound that never completely healed. (When the Nazgul at Weathertop stabbed him in the first film) The Ring itself has worn on him for years, and the strain from bearing it..and fighting against it's influence was more than he could take, especially near the end of ROTK where he loses control. He's really old beyond his time, so he goes with Gandalf and company. -

Never stopped them from getting out of other contracts. Remember that certain someone who had a 20 year contract? I'd answer that..but you know how "that situation" turns into a huge argument around here. Besides, it just dosen't work that way with some guys. There's no "Well, you could go to WCW..which will pay you more.." now. Once it's locked in, they're stuck.

My own thoughts: Well, isn't this just something to cry over. Reply to RRR: Show's a bit more of a victory than Jones would be. Show's been kept close to the main event for quite a while (and therefore, is seen as one) while Jones is somebody who hasn't been on TV more than a handful of times, and is basically nothing.

They have to keep Mark Henry. He's got a very long-term, high money contract.

LOTR: The Two Towers Special Extended DVD
El Psycho Diablo replied to The Dames's topic in Television & Film
My only question, though..how the hell would they have managed to pull Bombadil off? With the goofy dialouge he's got..there's no way they could have put him in. At least, none that I can see.. -
MOH looks terrible on the Xbox. They cancelled BF1942 (Which would've been a nice Live title). I haven't played FF yet. Battlefield is neat, but got kinda old after a while for me.

hmm..at the moment.. New Japan Pro-Wrestling - "Mission Blow (DJ remo-con Remix)"
