PS2: The occasional RPG, but mainly for the Japan-only Super Robot Wars series. Xbox: Morrowind. My PC wasn't quite up to running it in 2001. GC: It's not mine, but RE4 is the only thing I found worth playing on it.

Not unless it's ten thousand times better than SDvR was, they won't.

Personally, I'll get SCIII if it ever gets an Xbox release. Not until then.

I have to say, I'm not really a movie person. There's just something I dislike about sitting in front of a screen for a long period of time. That said, Begins kicks the living shit out of the first four films. Everything's actually believable..and I liked that there wasn't this big heel waiting at the end. The love interest bit was kept low-key, where it belongs. The only complaint I have is that there's no sequel yet.

Then why not get a GBA/DS/PSP <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because charging $20 for a game you made years ago, and just repackaged should be price gouging? (At least, for the GBA side of things..)

Something that pisses me off? Yeah, the board has an ignore feature now. That's great. When you put somebody on ignore, though..it isn't fucking necessary to keep telling everyone about who you're ignoring. Shut the hell up about it, already.

Personally, I haven't seen it because I've hated all of Whedon's stuff to date, so I'm not wasting money to see Serenity.

I know we've got a few Morrowind fans around here, and RPG fans in general should be excited about this one. First, there's a torrent with a 20-minute DVD promo floating around. It's not too hard to find. They've fixed all the problems Morrowind had: the clunky dialogue system is replaced by a much more streamlined Fallout-ish one, the combat is much less frustrating, and the quests are easier, thanks to your new (actually helpful) journal. Did I mention that any place you hear about, you'll be able to use your map to Fast Travel? No more taking hours to get anywhere, even though the game has something like sixteen square miles of land to explore. The graphics on this thing are just amazing. I'm not even sure my PC will be able to run it..I remember how low MW's specs were supposed to be, and how much it actually took to run. I'll get both eventually, but the 360 version, first. Now, only to wait that long..

Six guilds/factions: The Arena, Blades, Dark Brotherhood, Fighters’ Guild, Mages’ Guild, Thieves’ Guild) They've said the guild quests will be much more involved than "fetch this" this time around., so there aren't as many to join. The Oblivion facts thread on the Elder Scrolls forums. A lot of good info.

New preview from IGN. More changes to the gameplay system. I particularly like the fact you can make poisons, then apply them to your weapons.

Not really. At least where I was, it was impossible to find a copy of Halo when the Xbox launched..

Actually, there was something saying that Blu-Ray's higher capacity discs weren't very easily manufactured.. The surprise entry in Microsoft's and Intel's list of failures is disc storage capacity. On paper, Blu-ray appears to have the advantage. But the two companies looked beneath the paper: Capacity, said Ribas, "used to be the biggest advantage of Blu-ray, and we believed it. We thought, they'll get 50 GByte BD-ROM discs working, but it's not happening, and it's nowhere in sight. There are not even pilots. It's only in the lab that they are building these discs." With regard to demonstrated capacity, he told us, HD DVD-ROM actually leads BD-ROM by a score of 30 GByte to 25 GByte. Link

Personally, they killed it toward the end of 2000, when the McMahon-Helmsley Regime bit started to drag. A sign of things to come? 2001 was just terrible. Heel Austin as the leader of WCW/ECW, and the Invasion in general.

I'm rooting for HD-DVD, simply because Sony doesn't need control of the next-gen format.

Ross is just terrible, so if he goes, that's great. As for an announcing team, they need Dusty, Juvi, and Stevie Ray. Hillarity ensues.

I really hope the face models aren't one of those "never-to-be-seen-again" features in the Smackdown series much like roster editing most likely is because of those damn voiceovers. Edit: I just looked at the link for the CAW page on IGN and it looks there aren't any different face models like in SYM and HCTP, for now. There are only 7 face types, so I would think there won't be anything different-looking with the faces except for scars, etc. once again like on SVR. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They desperately need roster editing back, but they'll never do it. I'm glad for the differing face models this time, because the default SvR one looked like an ape. Seriously.
