  1. Several dudes on NeoGAF say that Famitsu confirmed Dead Rising for Wii. Well, current-gen ports are better than last-gen ports.

Except that for the numbers of zombies on-screen, Dead Rising may as well have been a last gen game.

Anyway, the thought of that on the Wii is rather amusing. The novelty with the motion controls will wear off rather fast, I'd assume.

I wonder if they'll bother fixing the AI at all?

  2. I guess the Necro is going goodbye, since the Witch Doctor seems to be a new version of him. Either him or the Druid, depending on selfbuffs and whatnot. Looks more like the necro though. I'm glad the Barbarian's still in it (although really, what were the odds that he'd be gone?), I wasn't a big magic fan in 2. I'm guessing an Archer/Amazon, a mage of some sort, and a hybrid character like the Paladin for the rest of the classes.

I'm assuming the Amazon's getting whacked, due to the fact they'll have both genders for each class now.

  3. I've come to the conclusion that Nico is a moron. Too many of these missions wind up being him announcing something along the lines of "I'm here to kill you!". Which naturally results in yet another "chase him down and kill them" sequence.

    I fucking hate that.

  4. The only complaint I have about this is that unlike Saints Row, the shops are all locked from the beginning. It's supposed to be an open world game, but I can't even get more than the basic clothing stores without going through the storyline?

  5. That kinda sucks. But assuming the game comes to PC, that version should have them. San Andreas has a folder that you copy songs files and/or shurtcuts into to make a custom station.

Given the fiasco over modding San Andreas had, I somehow doubt Rockstar will even bother with a PC release this time.

  6. But this game does look awesome. I will get it eventually. its just that while i did love Vice City, I didn't like san Andreas.

What I did like was Saints Row and it looks like this Grand Theft Auto kept the things i liked in the previous versions, but also borrowed some of the better features from Saints Row to make one heck of a game.

Same. San Andreas just had too many annoyances to really be any fun, IMO. Aside from a couple of infuriating missions, SR is hands down better.

Still can't wait to get GTAIV, though.

  7. I liked Saints Row better than San Andreas, too.

The level of customization you have generally blows it away, and you're not forced to do the storyline to unlock areas, stores, or anything else. There are a few annoying missions (I hate trying to drive and shoot at the same time), but not in the amount that SA had.

Plus, SR2 will have co-op campaign, which makes it a huge DO WANT in my book.
