I don't think Balsillie would have moved the team if the Penguins got their new arena. I think what broke this deal is the fact that the NHL told him that regardless of what happens he has to keep the Penguins in Pittsburgh. Now from a business stand point that's not going to fly because if the Penguins arena deal falls through and they start losing cash you don't want to have to be throwing money into a losing business. Actually, that's more what I was eluding too, but I failed. I really believe the same thing here, because it doesn't make any sense why someone drops out unless for that reason. And frankly, I'm thinking that the NHL is gonna wind up having to cave in and for probably less cash to them and the current owner(s) of the Penguins so that they can move. I realistically don't see that team staying if there is no new stadium. Which sucks, because they seemingly have all the building blocks for a great team (Andre-Fleury, Staal, Malkin, Crosby). As for the Islanders and Flyers trade, there isn't much to say about it beside it being cap space deal for the Islanders. Zhitnik's still pretty good, but I don't know if it'll help the Flyers (this trade that is).

More than likely the teams gonna end up moving. I can't see an owner coming along and buying without the possibility of having a chance to move. Which is probably why Balsillie dropped out, because he probably wants to the move the team.

We should probably create a superhero team from DC vs. Marvel, and figure out who would play where, and how the game would actually go down. I think that would be more entertaining than just the ultimate superhero team. And there's no way you put Superman on DE AND QB. 1 superhero per position please and thanks. Interesting idea of Batman at TE though and actually makes a lot of sense since he could figure out the coverage quickly and get wide open before anyone would realize it.

FIFTY KILOBITES? Are you kidding??! An int is 4 bytes. To hold all that information, you need 9 ints, so that would be 36 bytes. Then you have the string, which at most, is gonna be like, 30 bytes. How in the blue holy hell do you get 50K? Wee... Time to use personal knowledge! Actually to code a new game plus, you would likely hafta write a code to store the information that the save is a new game plus save, then turn around and make sure it doesn't get overwritten by the original code that would make it "everyone is level 1" type of deal. Now while you can say that is easy, its not really. That code takes up valuable developing space that could be devoted elsewhere, say to some really cool quest (main part) that makes the game that much better, gives a lot of player depth, and adds to the story. Also here's something to consider: Character Name: Jack Frost Level: 32 HP: 2398/2398 MP: 345/345 STR: 346 DEX: 287 VIT: 371 EVA: 132 I'll just go that far, as I forget the other catagories, but that right there from my coding experience is worth about 50kb (give or take 10-20kb, I ain't about to build a program to be precise). Not a lot right? How big is a save file though? 268kbs-780kbs? The game also hasta use the exact same save file format originally planned, otherwise you'd hafta use another code to seperately make a different savefile for it to access; which you guessed takes up more room and therefore bye-bye some more goodies elsewhere. BTW, before you bring up Chrono Trigger again, and its one megabye, the save battery was also built right in, so all you hafta do is save it to the built in battery, and just build a single code to boot up with that information. Not like what the game would hafta do with the savecards, where it hasta find and determine what savecard, what's saved and that. Chrono had it all built in, no looking required very hard required, and therefore less code required. Although, this is all my conjecture with my programming knowledge and how its done with the way I do it for my programming. Then again, I wouldn't mind them hacking off a few graphical imputs (which take up the most room) to give way to that.

Um... The Old City is past what I would consider the half way point of the game, considering its not that far from Grand Crystal. But if you are as burnt, sell. Honestly, if I didn't buy myself the special edition copy, I'm at the point where I'm thinking of selling since the gameplay I get in the game is basically what can be found online and in WoW, which I also play. No, the more espers a person has, they don't get stronger. Espers have their own leveling system (or level up when the character does, not sure which) in which they build stats. So the higher you level yourself and your esper the better it becomes. The Giant you gain right at the beginning, whose name I forget, is a tier 1 in terms of stat growth so he'll never be as good as a tier 2 that you find, nor a tier 3. You can't miss out, but you can miss a few since they aren't on the normal path to get them. However, those are the top stat growth ones: [spoilers]Zeromus, Ultima,[/spoilers] and two others that I can't remember their names too But if you are meaning that you can miss them and never get them again? No, all are still accessable later on in the game, I think. I don't have them all, I don't plan on it. Anyone figure out how to access the rest of the freaking Grand Crystal? I want my Excalibur and Zodiac dammit.

I find it very ironic that I have the lowest points scored total AND the lowest points scored ON. That's messed up.

I think the storyline would've been great if we had character progression. The storyline is very well done for the most part, but without the character development, its pretty damn flat. It doesn't help that this game was in development for so long either, but on the flip side its pretty damn flawless in the other areas. Still if I had to rank this game, it wouldn't make my top 25 list of RPGs.

Or the City of Champions, Edmonton (who I'll say are the loyalist fans out there); or the true Hockey Town of NHL: Montreal Canadiens (24 Stanley Cups, if we're gonna play it by Championships). I aquired like 18 different freshmen during the off-season, mostly ****, to increase an already deep talent pool for my team (doesn't mean my team is GOOD, but deep helps). Got one **** named Tom Richards, WR that is 95+ for speeds, agility, and acceleration, but awareness is 50, however strength and break tackle are both in the 80s. Also what is with the schedule maker for NCAA? I'm playing my first six games on the road. Its the oddest schedule ever and A too. Oh, for that matter, has a tight end ever won the Heisman? My TE was second last year and is the favorite to win it this year.

Okay, so apparently the Great Crystal thing I've been to symbolizes the final rush to the end. ...I'm terribly disappointed with this game in terms of character development. It falls flat on its face, and its glaringly making me not care about actually trying to finish the game. Its a great game, but that's flawed beyond belief. There's been no progression or change in a single character, no one's faced any meaningful choices.

Though they were originally published concurrently the stories in Fumoffu don't tie-in strongly chronologically to either and someone could watch Fumoffu without needing to watch FMP/TSR and vice versa. Ok, so Fumoffu can sometimes tie-in, but doesn't always. So it would be FMP AND some of Fumoffu then TSR? Hm. I'll see if I can pick me up some. Though I really hate how its like 70$ for 4 discs and like 8 episodes. Hopefully the subtitles are in (I hate dubs only).

It's a messed-up BCS system in 07; the Big East winner automatically goes to the Orange Bowl like they used to, while in reality they just get an automatic at-large. Wow, that's messed up. Might explain some things though, yet still. That's all sorts of messed. I don't wanna get an automatic Orange Bowl if I win Big East... Sadly though, my card corrupted so I lost my saves and had to restart from scratch. Went back to a ball controll team for Toronto Crusaders (and Ottawa Aces as the same), but decided to amuse myself by creating a 5'5 HB and having him be the starter. He's so small and fast (being smaller make'em faster, for whatever reason) that he just finds the holes and breaks free but fuck it when he gets hit, 'cause man, he drops like a rock. I'm so drafting him. And I don't like my "things to accomplish list" this time around: Beat West Virginia (its my rival, stupid game not letting me take Ottawa), achieve bowl bid, beat a team with 5 or 6 prestige. For a B- overall team, that's not gonna be an easy task. I can probably get the bowl bid, but my only 5 or 6 presitge team I'm facing is West Virginia and Louisville (I think). If I don't complete my goals, what's the likelihood of being fired? Because I got a bad feeling here that WV is the only team that is 5 or 6 stars.
