I vote no to the changes. All one way, or all the way you are purposing for the games. Its not really fair that those non-weekend games are the only ones I can switch up, just because they are during the week and not the weekend. St Louis gave up pretty much after they had their consecutive playoff births snapped. Its been all downhill since for them. I'd also like to say its more so when Al McInnis retired, since that was around the same time.

Why is it that a team in NCAA2007 with a shitty schedule that only has 3 "rough" games against teams with .500 or better gets a top class bowl game? Is it just because I'm playing in the Big East and won the division (quite handly), or is it because I was undefeated? I'm really having a hard time justifing my Orange Bowl game I got against Virginia Tech, since I beat up a West Virginia team that had a depleted roster, Ottawa Aces team that I nearly fucking gave the game away to via fumbles (6 in total: two by the QB, two by the HB, one by the TE, one by #2WR), and a Louisville team that kept me scoreless for nearly two quarters (longest I was held without scoring, they even scored first).

GDS? I had the initials wrong. GSD was what it was supposed to be and that's Gundam Seed Destiny for clarification. If you've seen FMP then you know what to expect and if not, it's probably recommended viewing going in. TSR is so much better regardless. Since it's only 13 episodes there are no wasted moments and is quickly paced, the action and villains are great, and the character development, especially Sousuke's is well done. I'd probably rank TSR and Fumoffu (speaking of, for comedy it doesn't get much better) even at the top with FMP second. Actually, I haven't seen FMP the original either I guess I should say. So how does this work for FMP? FMP -> TSR -> Fumoffu in terms of watching? Eh. I don't think it's been any better or worse than usual. Black Lagoon (though technically a continuation), Code Geass, Death Note, Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto and Tenpou Ibun Ayakashi Ayashi (fulfilling my demon slaughtering steeped in history and shogunate era politics fix, but unfortunately subbers are slow on both) are all worthwhile and are first tier in my eyes. There's more enjoyable releases out there which have one or two flaws or may not appeal as broadly, like Kekkaishi, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Hitman Reborn, Kanon, Pumpkin Scissors (loads of potential, just waiting to see if GONZO fucks it up, as usual), even dumb Shonen Jump-type action like Busou Renkin or D.Gray-man. I meant in terms of new shows. Code Geass seems like Gundam Seed Destiny rehash, Death Note I'm not really sure I'd like, Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto I know nothing about, and TIAA is another one that just doesn't seem to be appealing to me (yet I'm reading Kenshin and loving it, kinda weird since I should like both if that is so). I'm only watching Negima!? out of faithfulness and Kanon because I liked the original (like this one much better though).

A lot of people were turned off by Wind Waker's locale, so Nintendo went back to the old formula to make sure the original fans didn't get pissed off.

The Pizza Hut Rebellion, right? Is it worth picking up? I hear it nearly is similar to GDS and frankly don't wanna go through that again.

Considering I just can't let this thing die, five things I wanted to bring up to the other anime inclined people on this board: 1) Is Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid worth picking up? I hear a lot of good things about it, but I know next to nothing about it. Can you guys at least tell me somethings about it and is it worth while? 2) Is anyone else not that impressed with the current season from Japan? Its a little underwhelming this time around, while I am only into just Negima (fan of manga) and Kanon (actually is quite entertaining, if cliched), from what I've read of the other series just seem to frivolous and not really worth it (I'm not interested at Death Note before anyone asks.). 3) I've delved into Kenshin and I love it so far. Should I get Samurai X, its anime counter-part, or should I pass on it do to the fact that they apparently castrated the end of it (or so I'm told). 4) If you've watched Haruhi, you've guys likely seen the concert scene with God Knows being played. Well someone did a of that's just bass and lead and it sounds really good. KURIKINTON FOX is who did it, if you were wondering. Although I have no idea who this is. 5) And before someone goes "is there an .mp3 of this": I've converted it for your listening pleasure here. Its pretty much a straight rip out of the video file, but I did my best to keep the quality high. Its my first attempt at something like this so please forgive me if it isn't that great.

I'm intrigued, Flik, to see who stumbles over the finish line in our division. No kidding. I'm kinda curious to see who out of divison gets hot and goes quite far before jobbing to the eventual winner of the league. Just because you know whichever person does, he'll get red-hot for the playoffs. Of course this is assuming someone actually backs in as below .500 record. ...and fuck. If I had remember Cinny was playing Baltimore on Thurs, it wouldn't've costed me a fucking point. There goes my winning streak.

I live in Edmonton so yes. There wasn't a single station that carried it. Only via PPV. I know, because I tried all the regulars: TSN, Score, Sportsnet. None of them carried it. I wasn't happy about that to say the least.

Its funny, Pronger's first return to Edmonton and no TV station had the televised rights. Only way you could watch it was via PPV.

And was anyone else disappointed with the Sword of Kings? I was expecting a decently awesome weapon and then we get a weapon that is basically as it should be: a symbolic sword that holds no real power. Of course someone who's beat the game will say taht's not true and it gets a power buff but honestly. Disappointing.

Ok, I've been trying this for so long now and the guides don't seem to be working but here it goes. I'm in the Stillwater Miriam Shrine, the one that holds the Dalmasca Sword of the Old King. Anyways, I've beaten the mid-boss and turn the statue each and everyway and checked back but the huge statue sword guarding the entrance to what I'm assuming is the next Esper STILL doesn't move. Anyone got any advice? All the guides on Gamefaqs tell me to turn it west, which I've done and nothing occurs. Did I miss a step somewhere along the way?

I've tried three times now myself. I failed on pre-order because they were taking anymore at my favorite store and now they apparently have a waiting list. I also tried going to get one early one morning but only found out that the shipment was delayed at the one store. And the third time I screwed myself out of it, instead of going directly to the future shop in the mall, went over to the local bookshop and stayed for 25 minutes chatting it up with some friends. If I had arrived right when I got to the mall, I would've had a brand new Wii because they apparently had one stuck underneath all the Xbox 360s they received as they didn't even know they had it till they were cleaning up the back. To say I feel like an idiot right now is something.

By the way for those able to play the game, is this game really long like 60 hours worth just for the main game (no bonuses or that) or are they just making that up? Also is the game as easy as I've been hearing too? I've got my TP copy *looks at it longingly* but no Wii, so I just wanted to know these two things.

I know I'll get reamed for this but: Bertuzzi was and had been Vancouver's offense for the longest time. Teams planned for it, and Vancouver planned it with him in it. Right now Vancouver doesn't have someone bonified as the star so you don't hafta "key" anyone on the roster, and Vancouver doesn't have anyone to have a "go to" reaction. I'm dreading how much its gonna cost my Oilers to keep Smyth. He's likely seeking a 4-6 year deal worth approximately 6 million (especially if he keeps up the pace towards a career high in goals and likely breaking 40 for the first time in his career). Word out of the Edmonton Sun (one of two local newspapers) is 10-12 teams that are not Edmonton that have money are willing to pony up the dough to get him. I'm hoping we can keep him at 5m, cause he's really the face of our franchise since Gretzky left and I just can't think of our team without him. Sadly reality is telling me Lowe probably trades him during the deadline if something doesn't get done soon.

By backlash its the people who hate have gone overboard with it declaring it the worst thing ever and pretty much only hate it for the sole reason of it become so huge pretty much overnight. Its not their cup of tea and are sick of seeing it blown up as big as it has gotten. Is it as good as it is? As a Haruhi-fan, I say yes, just because everything fits together so well from start to end. FLCL actually is a very good way of comparing it to something similar, but it definitely is differenter than it in many ways. Also, if the first episode confuses the hell out of you, hold off on judging it because the first episode ties into and is explained later.
