I've mellowed out since but I'll always remain a little bitter at him for getting the finish to the One Night Only match changed w/ Bulldog . . . after DBS dedicated the match to his cancer-stricken dying sister. Hell, a double-CO would have been fine with DX taunting the Harts on their way to the back while the Harts stay in the ring and challenge them to fight.

Or at least call him Michael Cole
-
I hope the Foley/JB comedy tandem never breaks up.

Some of those filenames are tough to figure out. Stuff like 'lancerude' 'mikehayes' 'rude_dingo'. Headaches.

You're the main man on campus Landy. I'm at work now, but tonight I should have some time to try to crack the SS code.
-
-
Yeah, he turned it down at the end of last week's Impact. He said he was more interested in slicing fools . . . well, not in those exact words.
-
What can I say, you're the man Landy!

I get a post-nerve injury Paul Orndorff vibe when I see Angle. I don't know if he's healthy or not but at least Angle gets a helluva lot more days off than he did three years ago.

So does anyone know the deal w/ ESPNC avoiding the 1989 AWA eps? Were they off ESPN at this time?
And three cheers for the Verne Gagne/Lord James Blears commentating combo. Both of these guys are always lost. During the Vader/Hansen championship match, Gagne was more concerned about getting some semi-attractive skirt to say hi to all the wrestling fans out there.

Nice to see Jed land the mod spot. His TNA/AWA appreciation is good stuff.

See, it's the subtlety that makes it works.
I was praying that the kid would mindlessly chuck the cpu at his brother only for it to shatter on the floor.

Get pumped for April 1st:
-
Just being Randy Savage. He lives his character.Bingo, has anyone seen Randy Savage just being Randy Poffo . . . neither have I.

Watching the Universal replay of Raw. Seeing Stephanie come down the ramp gave me fond memories of Elizabeth running in at Souled Out 99.
The whole Orton/HHH/Steph angle also flashed me back to the Roberts/Savage/Liz angle at Tuesday in Texas.
-
I'll remember that next time you guys cramp about CoD putting shows on a day late.
Oh, and the WM23 links are:
Batista vs Undertaker - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0...23taker_750.wmv
Cena vs Michaels - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0...wm23hbk_750.wmv
-
And finishing off the WrestleMania matches:
Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle (21) - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0331_wm21_750.wmv
Angle/Mysterio/Orton (22) - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0401_wm22_750.wmv
Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels (24) - http://wmsdrm.wwe.com/jukebox/032009/drm-0403_wm24_750.wmv
Paging Landy . . . WM 23 ended in a tie and for the love of crap, I can't figure out either of the filenames for beans.

Worse . . . he tried getting an interview w/ Elizabeth during the match. That set Savage off.
IIRC, Santana/Roberts was one of those matches where if you go in expecting something great, you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting it to be not so good, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
-
He mentioned it on either his RF shoot or one of those shoots done for the XBox 360 version of the Legends of Wrestling II game.

From Cawthon's site:
7/5/87 - included an 'Special Report' segment, showing Ted Dibiase going into a restaurant where he paid off someone to buy a seat without having to wait in line like everyone else; included Craig DeGeorge interviewing Danny Davis, who was upset over the announcement that Mr. T would be the new enforcer in the WWF; included footage of Superstar Billy Graham training for his comeback, with Butch Reed & Slick commenting on the footage and Reed saying he wasn't impressed; included DeGeorge interviewing the British Bulldogs, who said that Matilda would guide them back to the tag team titles; included the Ken Patera / Frankie Lane match from the 6/27 Superstars, shown in full with the aftermath; featured footage from 'Predator', starring Jesse Ventura:
Jake Roberts pinned Tony Leone at 1:27 with the DDT; during the bout, Bobby Heenan claimed on commentary that he had signed Bam Bam Bigelow
WWF IC Champion the Honkytonk Man (w/ Jimmy Hart) pinned Jim Powers at 1:38 in a non-title match with the Shake, Rattle, & Roll; during the bout, an insert promo by Hart was shown in which he claimed he would be the one to manage Bam Bam Bigelow
Brutus Beefcake defeated Frank DeFalco via submission at 1:46 with the sleeper; after the bout, Beefcake cut some of his opponent's hair before dyeing it red
Demolition (w/ Mr. Fuji) defeated SD Jones & Paul Roma at 2:21 when Ax pinned Roma following the Decapitation; during the bout, an insert promo by Fuji was shown in which he claimed he would be the one to manage Bam Bam Bigelow
Killer Khan (w/ Mr. Fuji) pinned Mike Richards at 3:24 with the flying kneedrop after spitting green mist in his opponent's face
I believe the bolded stuff has been cut as well as Demolition's entrance/exit.
