    SWF: The Music Vol. 3

Silly Mark and his senility, resulting in his fabrication of nonexistant songs. I say we put him in a burlap sack filled with traditional old-person food, tapioca pudding, and throw sticks at him. As for actually contributing to this thread, it can only be Mr. G's "Antipop" repeated/remixed as many times as needed.

Yay for the Gonzales. Now, post the damned playoffs and such, you lazy person! *Hopes Gonzales will develop more and become the greatest Jewish pitcher since Sandy Koufax (Or am I thinking of Dwight Gooden?)*

    Official SWF NaNoWriMo Signup Thread

Ker-bump! Just wanted to find out who actually finished, or who got the farthest. I hope that at least a few people were only a few hundred words away...from the thousand word mark. Yeah... Seeing as how I did not sign up, I am very pleased with my results. I'll now repost my novel right here:

The 2003 Rugby World Cup thread

Good times, this world cup. Hoorah for the Eagles actually winning a game! Would've been two if Herkus knew how to kick against Fiji, but what can you do? As for my fellow Americans saying that there's no coverage here, that's kind of true. The major sports networks and whatnot, barely cover it. However, if you have a dish, order Fox Sports World. They showed every single game, granted on a two or three day delay, but they showed them all, several of them twice or more. So there's no excuse for not seeing any rugby. If you want to, you don't have to try too hard. I'd like to congratulate England on winning, and it's good that a northern hemisphere team finally won the cup. However, I'd like everyone to know that if America ever took rugby seriously, it'd never leave our hands. But that's not what this thread is about, so I won't get into that. Perhaps we can share past world cup or just regular rugby memories in this, or another thread. Hooray for such ideas. Finally, I must ask the English fans a question: Why do you guys sing "Swing Low, Swee Chariot" at the games? I see no relation between a song about a slave who's life is so horrible that he wants to die and be taken to heaven then live and the sport of rugby. Especially sung by English fans. It seems very out of place to me.

    Least favorite thing about Sportscenter

I guess one thing I don't like about SportsCenter is that throughout the entire rugby world cup this month, only one highlight was shown, for the third-place game between NZ and France. No clips from USA beating Japan (The Eagles first win in who-knows how long), nothing about the finals (Though that was this morning, so I'm sort of hoping for something on Monday...maybe). Not to mention the fact that a clip from the New Zealand players performing the haka (Which is a traditional Maori war-challenge type thing) being used for the 'Not Top Ten', claiming it was dancing. Other than that, I can usually tolerate most of SC. But I agree with the people who don't see how a dunk can be in the top five, unless the guy leapt from half-court or something.

    A2A Border Run request threadz0r

To answer my own question, who the hell knows. Anywho, it's time, it's time, it's time for another border run. If you don't know the rules, wait for someonelse to post so you get the idea, and if you still fuck up, I shall have to do something bad, very bad. This will most likely involve me posting an uncomfortable 665 picture. Or not, who knows. So, request, you dirty, unkempt whorish coal miners!

    Smartmarks Fake Baseball League

Hooray for "Beanball" having several pitching records (And hooray for him not yet getting a single hit!)! I mean, who really cares about preventing homeruns or hits and whatnot when you can throw really fast? I just want to know where my 173 K stacks up against the non-TSM pitchers. And since I'm not to knowledgable on most baseball stats, is there a way to determine how many players "Beanball" has hit? Oh, and I just want to point out that Gonzales and myself, totally and completely own Alex Zenon. PS Evo, you should compile a list of the awards that the TSMers have won. I'd like to see how many years in a row Frost as won glass ceiling and big stick awards. I'm guessing every year since he's been in the league.

What are your favorite death scenes of all-time?

I'd have to say, among others: Kurtz and the ox getting killed at the same time in Apocalypse Now Last chase scene in Escape from NY When Max gives Johnny two options: Hack through the handcuffs or his ankle in Mad Max Borris the Blade and Bricktop's gang getting killed in Snatch The sailors trapped in the overturned ships in Pearl Harbor When I think of more, I shall present them.

    Border Run Thread

For the modly King, gigantic cages and plenty of poking sticks. Mister Cast Away, I give to you five poor, semi-literate Mexican peasents. For Teebo, a mariachi band that has the best Mexican version of "Hotel California", a lice-infested shawl of an elderly Mexico City woman named Guadalupe, Jamal and Hector Guerrero, Ted, Chen Wong, and Rey Mysterior Sr., El Hermanos Super, a talking ferret named Jose, and a nacho sombrero. For the Grand Salami, a gallon of chipotle salsa, three cases of cervesa, six golden bottles of tequila, twelve 8-pound bags of deep fried corn tortillas, and two decks of "Visit Mexico City" playing cards. Zed, I'm in the process of getting Mayan and Aztec gold, but in all likelihood, you'll get cursed. For teh Shoe, a Mexican re-dub of "Come on Down" And for Tom, a midget with a head wound, so your beverages rest snugly in a depression in his skull, and another dead midget, stuffed full of LSD.

    Gene-Ass-Is Border Run Thread

Everyone should know how this goes down, and if not, then I hate you and ask someone to explain it, for I'm far too lazy to do so. Uh, so, like go ahead and make with the asking and shit. <insert something about stuff and what have you> Yay for requesting!

I'm the New Ask411 Movie Guy

This one is kinda sparked by your sig pic, Frosty: Why did Sophia Loren decide to do a musical (Man of La Mancha) when she can't really sing all that well? On the MoLM tangent, what is the name of the actor who played Sancho, and what else has he been in? Gonzales wants to know if Eastwood and Wayne have ever been in a movie together. And finally, where do babies come from?
