    A-Rod HR Pace

No doubt about it. Its the greatest record in sports.

    A-Rod HR Pace

A Rod hit his record tying 389th homer last night which ties him with Ken Griffey Jr for the most homers by a player before 30. He has 53 games game before his birthday and is on pace to hit 412 before his 30th. Just amazing. Aside from a major injury I have no doubt that A Rod will play til he is 40. That would almost make him a lock to break the all time record. It is pretty safe to say that it would be record over taken by someone who is legit unlike Balco Barry. I think it is pretty safe to call A Rod the greatest player in todays game. As well as the greatest player of all time under 30 years old. I wanted to hate him after leaving my beloved Mariners after watching him break in with the club. Retrospectivly I can't blame him for taking the huge contract. I am proud to have seen him come up and while I hate the Yankees I am behind A Rod. Discuss

    A-Rod HR Pace

I couldnt agree with you more Al. However I feel with the way he plays and the way he is built and the highly level that he takes care of himself that, as I said, unless he gets a career shortening injury and his desire to play stays high then he is the one most likely to challenge the record. That is the thing that has really slowed the players that you listed. Junior was on pace to challenge the record but has just had bad break after bad break.

    A-Rod HR Pace

On a list of players that I would be willing to bet on whos name would not come up on a list of those who tested postive for juice ARod would be right at the top of the list. He has gradually gotten bigger as one is apt to do with hard work and getting older. He didnt just show up one day with an extra 20 or 30 lbs of extra muscle after an off season *cough* bret boone *boone* If ARods name came up as a positive test it would pretty much be the biggest suprise ever to me. Then again they usually are.

I guess it isnt that I dont think Barry is legit, but it wouldnt be shrouded in controversey if A Rod were to break it. No matter what you are on it still takes tremedous skill to hit the ball out fo the ball park. I think it will be great for baseball for ARod to hit 50+ homers this year.

Anyone here ever tried a diet?

Well that is my hope is that with my story i can inspire others to make the same choice before opting for such a drastic measure like surgery.

Anyone here ever tried a diet?

You were 540?? Good work, guy, to lose the weight. Was I 540? Yes I was, not proud of it but thats what it was. I come from a heavy family and depression as well as just my own poor eating lead me to where I was. I was fortunate enough to meet a man from Ecuador willing to bring me into his home and family and show me a better way to live and I was able to drop 190. Thanks for the congrats. I plan on keeping up my work and be down to 220 by this time next year. That is my goal weight. Its something many people take for granted but for me today to go in and buy a new Nike sweatshirt off the rack at a regular Nike store just makes me so proud and just injects me with more motivation to continue.

Anyone here ever tried a diet?

I recent spent 6 months in Ecuador working on changing my lifestyle and diet. I have gone from 540 lbs to 350lbs in 178 days that I was abroad. Pretty much I drank a lot of water which seemed to be a big key. Pretty much my days was like this Breakfast: 2 eggs 1/2 grapefruit tea Morning snack: fruit Lunch: Chicken or Beef raw green veggies Afternoon snack fruit Dinner Salad or the same as lunch Not much fun but the change in my life has been amazing. I was actually on the verge of having the gastric by pass surgery. This worked for me and it was so worth it. I am home now and cant wait to get back to it and lose more weight.

    Online Texas Hold'em

There is a simple way around this. If you have a checking acct you can set up a user acct with a service like Firepay. You can withdraw money from them for a minimal fee. Its really easy. That is what I use because my Debt card wont allow me to put money on a gambling or gaming site. When I play I typically use PartyPoker or PokerStars
