I don't think Garrison Cade will get fired. Wasn't he trained by HBK or went to his wrestling school or something like that. In that case he'll have someone "higher up" that can help him keep his job.

WWE Release Gail Kim, Nidia, and Chuck Palumbo
EdwardKnoxII replied to spman's topic in The WWE Folder
That was Sean O'Haire that disrespected Undertaker. And as for the Droz thing I think it was just the WWF midcarders making a big deal out of nothing so that the new WCW guys would get buried. -
WHAT? When did this happen and what did Test do to him?

Ok since Halloween is on Sunday alot of religious have been up in arms about trick or treating on the "holy day" because of the satanic background in Halloween. Never mind that fact that most kids don't know or could care less about that stuff, all they went is candy and to dress up. So, I know in alot of cities because of this they've moved tricking or treating to Saturday or, in some cases, Friday night. So what day are they doing Halloween in your city. Here it's on Sunday and there is no time limit. And some cities close by up in KY one has it on Saturday and another has it tonight and they only have it for 2 or 3 hours at best.

Is Trick Or Treating on Saturday Or Sunday In Your
EdwardKnoxII replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in General Chat
Yeah never mind the fact that Halloween was originally a PAGAN not Satanic holiday.. Two different things... Of course people don't realize this. Yeah I know it's different. I'm just saying what all the religious people say it about it being the devil's day and all. -
One I liked was when Jericho pissed in Regal's tea and then Regal drank. But, I what I like was the promo that Jericho did afterwards on him and he really got the crowd into it. It went something like this. Jericho: What is Regal's favorite letter. Is it A-B-C? Crowd: NO Jericho: Is it E-F-G? Crowd: NO Jericho: Is it H-I-J? Crowd: NO Jericho: Is K-L-M-N? Crowd: NO Jericho: Then I guess it means that Regal's favorite letter is Crowd: P

Well I can't really blame him for saying that. I mean I loved his WCW stuff but, near the end of that run and then his last run with ECW Raven just seemed old and worned out. Like he didn't want to do it anymore. That's why I was shocked that WWE hired him.
-
Vince hates Raven, I mean he really hates him I remember an interview Raven did something about he left the fed saying that he liked and got along with Vince. It was Pat Patterson that he didn't get along with cause Patterson didn't know what to do with Raven and he didn't get and understand what Raven was about. But, I could be wrong.

Here's a great article talking about this storyline. And asks could Gwen really sleep with Norman, why, and how does it fit into the Spider-Man timeline. http://www.spideykicksbutt.com/GreenwithEv...weringGwen.html

I haven't posted here in awhile so I thought I'd post some of my thoughts. *Interesting what they did with Chloe but, I figured they would drag out the where's Chloe storyline alittle bit longer. *I'm digging Lois Lane but, the whole "I need a few more credits" seemed like a really bad way for her to be at the high school and interact with the gang. I'm glad they didn't drag it out and now have her going to college. *I'm wondering were the Clark plays football storyline is going to. And like someone else said I can see Clark getting a college scholarship or tons money. *I'm glad to see they brought up the feelings that Chloe still has for Clark. *Question. Does anyone else thing that Lana boyfriend is going to go nuts and try to kill her just like every other guy that's had the hots for her has. *I'm glad Clark and Lex are friends again. Lord knows Clark needs a friend since Pete is gone. *I wonder what happened to Clark during his time as Kal El.

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...rman_metropolis Metropolis, Ill., Holds Vigil for Reeve Thu Oct 14, 4:03 PM ET METROPOLIS, Ill. - Residents in the southern Illinois town that shares its name with Superman's adopted city honored the life of Christopher Reeve with a candlelight vigil on Superman Square. Dozens of people braved the chilly weather Wednesday night to hold the vigil in Reeve's honor. The 52-year-old actor, who died Sunday, had starred in four "Superman" movies. Those participating in the vigil held candles in front of a Superman statue, which had black gauze draped around its railing. They also made donations to the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, and signed a huge condolence card for the Reeve family. Metropolis hosts a festival every year dedicated to the comic-book hero. Organizers started the event 25 years ago to draw more tourists to the area. Reeve, left a quadriplegic after a May 1995 horse-riding accident, died after complications from an infection caused by a bedsore. Kitty Polovine of Paducah, Ky., came to the service to honor Reeve's work on behalf of stem-cell and spinal cord research. Her late husband, Dennis Fusaro, lived longer because of stem-cell research, she said. "Christopher Reeve put a better face on it," Polovine said. "I would have come here for Christopher Reeve, anyway, but I think it's great what he did." On the Net: http://www.metropolischamber.com/

My favorite best near fall is alittle bit different. My favorite is when Goldust cameback and was teaming with Booker T and Goldust was using the powerslam as a near fall and the fans were BUYING IT EVERYTIME. I mean when was the last time the fans thought a powerslam could end the match? From the early to mid 90s at best. And that just another reason why it was bullshit that WWE let Dustin go.

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=stor...voting_on_pot_1 3 Western States to Vote on Pot Proposals Sun Oct 10, 1:12 PM ET By DAVID CRARY, AP National Writer PORTLAND, Ore. - The Bush administration's war on drugs stretches deep into Asia and Latin America, yet one of its most crucial campaigns — in the eyes of drug czar John Walters — is being waged this fall among voters in Oregon, Alaska and Montana. In each state, activists seeking to ease drug laws have placed a marijuana-related proposal on the Nov. 2 ballot as part of a long-running quest for alternatives to federal drug policies they consider harsh and ineffective. If all three measures are approved, Montana would become the 10th state to legalize pot for medical purposes, Oregon would dramatically expand its existing medical-marijuana program, and Alaska would become the first state to decriminalize marijuana altogether. Walters has been campaigning in person against the measures, taking a particularly aggressive role in opposing Oregon's Measure 33. It would create state-regulated dispensaries to supply marijuana, let authorized growers sell pot to patients for a profit, and allow patients to possess a pound of it at a time instead of the current 3-ounce limit. "They use medical marijuana as a Trojan horse," Walters said of the measure's supporters. "People's suffering is being used for legalizing drug use beginning with marijuana and moving forward." Oregon and Alaska are among nine states which, since 1996, have adopted laws allowing qualified patients to use medical marijuana. The others are California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Nevada, Vermont and Washington. The U.S. House defeated a proposal in July to stop the federal government from prosecuting people who use marijuana for medical reasons in states that allow it. A case raising that same issue is to be considered soon by the Supreme Court. Oregon and Alaska activists say their ballot measures would eliminate problems patients now face in obtaining enough marijuana to ease their suffering. In Oregon, for example, the 10,000 patients enrolled in the current program must grow their own pot or get it from designated "caregivers" who cannot be paid. "It takes knowledge, money and everything going right to grow high-quality marijuana," said John Sajo, 48, a longtime drug-reform activist who runs the Measure 33 campaign from a cramped office. "Most patients suffering debilitating medical conditions just aren't able to grow their own." Madeline Martinez, a former prison guard, does manage to grow marijuana at her Portland home. She appreciates the chance to legally use pot, rather than powerful prescription drugs, to ease the discomfort of her degenerative disc and joint disease. "Instead of being in a drug-induced stupor, I can interact with my grandchildren," said Martinez, 53. "It's given me the quality of life I wanted." The Oregon Medical Association differs, calling Measure 33 bad public health policy. Oregon's prosecutors also oppose the measure, which trails in statewide polls. "There's enough stuff out in our world to lead young people astray without adding another one," said Benton County District Attorney Scott Heiser. Alaskans will vote on a measure even more far-reaching than Oregon's — to prohibit prosecution of anyone 21 or older who consumes, grows or distributes pot for private personal use. It would allow authorities to regulate marijuana along the lines of alcohol and tobacco — for example, taxing it and barring its use in public. Even a leading foe of the measure, former U.S. Attorney Wev Shea, believes it might pass, thanks partly to sophisticated advertising backed by national marijuana-reform organizations. "They've got a lot of money behind them and they're running a very professional campaign," Shea said in a telephone interview. "It's difficult for us on the other side — we don't get paid a penny." Under a 1975 state court ruling, Alaskans already have the tacit right to possess up to four ounces of pot in their homes for personal use. Shea said decriminalization supporters suggest in ads that any crackdown on at-home pot use might be followed by a crackdown on gun ownership. Shea contended that the state's top elected officials, and Alaska-based federal authorities, have been too reserved in challenging the measure, apparently because of concerns that they shouldn't actively take sides in a referendum campaign. "They're so worried about offending the so-called freethinkers in Alaska," Shea said. "But you've got to stand up for what you believe in." Walters acknowledged that Alaskans' libertarian attitudes might benefit the other side — but feels approval would be a disaster. "I don't think there's another state that's suffered as much from substance abuse as Alaska," Walters added. "It's shocking that we'd have outside groups working to make this problem worse." In Montana, a recent poll indicated the medical marijuana measure would be approved, and few top officials have campaigned vigorously against it. The chief spokesman for the measure, investment adviser Paul Befumo, is aware that such proposals have always prevailed when going before voters in other states. "You don't want to be the first that loses," he said. National drug-reform groups hope state medical-marijuana programs will proliferate, and have produced studies asserting that existing programs don't trigger increases in youth marijuana use or other feared problems. "It's slow and cumbersome to go state by state, but when you do get closer to the people, it seems you have a better chance," said Bruce Mirkin of the Marijuana Policy Project. "If people keep supporting reform measures, at some point a light bulb will go off over Congress and we'll see changes at the federal level."

This isn't the first time Patterson has said something against HHH. Way back when Cena first came in and was feuding with Jericho there was a backstage skit with Cena, Jericho, and Vince. Patterson's plan was at the end of it was for Cena to slap Vince. But, HHH talked to Vince that it would be better for Cena to slap Jericho instead. When that happened Patterson got mad for HHH sticking his nose in so to speak. I can understand why Patterson would be mad but, it did make alot more sense for Cena to slap Jericho instead of Vince seeing how Cena had a problem with Jericho for the last few weeks at that point and none with Vince.

Speaking of JBL I thought this would be the thread to post it in. A few days ago my sister, who use to be big into wrestling in the 80s and early 90s but, hasn't watched for a very long time, and me were watching TV when an ad for No Mercy came on. It was an ad talking about JBL and all the things he's about/done. Well after the ad my sister turns to me and say "In other words he's a Million Dollar Man copycat right?" Me: Yep. I found that to funny.

I shocked. How can you guys forget the BEST CC show ever. DR. KATZ

I'm guessing you never had the wrestling radio show Keith had way back when on one of his old sites. Well you're not missing much Keith has a weak, whiny voice that was annoying and that want's to put the listener to sleep.

It was bad, but the DDP stalking of Taker's wife in 2001 was much more tasteless, and of course it killed DDP of ever being a taken seriously star in the WWE. What got my about the angle was this. Remember when DDP first showed up on RAW DDP said the reason he was stalking Sara was because he wanted to become famous in the WWF and what better way to do that then to fight the Undertaker. But, then all of a sudden they change it to DDP not wanting to become big in the WWF but, instead he REALLY was stalking Sara because he wanted to have her from himself no matter what. Which was dumb are what he first said. That and I had a hard to buying that DDP would want Cougar face Sara when he was that fine ass Kimberly at home.

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/09/30/oz_manhunt_ban/ Australia bans Manhunt By Tony Smith Published Thursday 30th September 2004 16:47 GMT Australia has banned Manhunt, the grisly game claimed to have influenced the murder of a UK teenager earlier this year. The Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC), a cross-state body, this week said it had revoked the game's MA15+ certificate. That classification indicates which age groups any given title can be sold to, in this case only people over the age of 15. This week's move in effect renders the sale of Manhunt in Australia illegal - the game is not suitable for anyone to play, the OFLC effectively said. Indeed, "any existing stocks of this game held by retailers must be removed from the shelves immediately", the body warned. The removal of the certificate follows a demand from Attorney General Philip Ruddock after a complaint by Western Australia state Justice Minister Michelle Roberts. "In the Classification Review Board's opinion, the game warrants a refusal of classification because it contains elements beyond those set out in the classification guidelines and legislation for a computer game at the MA15+ classification," the OFLC said in a statement. Manhunt has been on sale in Australia for almost a year now, so arguably the ban may do little to impact demand for the product. More to the point, if it's not suitable now, what made it so on its release in October 2003? The OFLC said it will provide a more detailed rationale in a few weeks' time. In July, public attention was drawn to Manhunt after the parents of 14-year-old Stefan Pakeerah claimed the game had influenced their son's killer, 17-year-old Warren Leblanc, who pleaded guilty to the crime. That prompted UK retailers Dixons and Game to pull the title from their shelves, even though, again, it had been on sale since the previous autumn. Right-leaning newspapers frothed at the mouth in indignation that such stuff could be sold to the nation's youth. In fact, it shouldn't, as the title's 18 certificate makes clear. Indeed, Leicester police, who investigated the murder, ruled out the game as an influence on the murder, which is believed to have been motivated by Leblanc's need to obtain money to pay back a drug-related debt. ®

http://channels.netscape.com/ns/celebrity/...hol20040909.htm Ludacris Trying to Clean Up His Rep Gangsta rapper Ludacris – who was dropped by Pepsi after Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly campaigned against using a spokesperson whose lyrics are blatantly violent and misogynistic -- now seems determined to change his reputation. Just last month he accompanied a young lady confined to a wheelchair with cerebral palsy to her prom as part of BET’s “Access Granted” series. And now Ludacris’ is using his new commercial deal with Boost Mobile – his first major endorsement deal since O’Reilly got him fired by Pepsi -- to give back to his community. "Now, people can finally associate my name -- and Hip-Hop -- with something positive," says Ludacris, who recently took time out from Memphis shooting of John Singleton’s “Hustle and Flow” to return home to Atlanta where he shot the new commercial with two other hot musical artists, Kanye West and The GAME(cq). Starting this month, Boost Mobile will offer exclusive ringtones by Kanye West, Ludacris and The GAME, which Boost customers can download from Boost LIVE. All proceeds from the sale of the downloaded ringtones will be donated to charities selected by each artist, including the rapper’s charity organization, The Ludacris Foundation, the United Negro College fund, and the Chicago State University Foundation. Now if he could just do something about those “hos in other area codes,” he sings about.
