Eddie Guerrero Gets Angry At House Show Fans Interesting note from last night's tapings Pat Harris who was at the Hamilton Smackdown tapings last night has an interesting report of what happened with Eddie Guerrero. He writes: During the Guerrero interview at last night's Smackdown tapings, Eddie was getting some jeers from a couple young kids a few seats down (may have been Chimmel's fans). Nothing too offensive, just typical "You Suck Eddie" etc. After the interview Eddie eyed them down and held the ropes open for them to enter the ring. After the main event, Eddie was getting my ringside jeers (again, nothing terribly offensive) and he came over to those young kids again and started saying things like "who wants to be a man?" almost overly aggressive and challenging someone to try something. I have to say I was a little disappointed in that. I admire Eddie's ability in the ring immensely, but I thought that was a little low. If we were a heel, I'd probably rationalize it as a heel tactic; however, he is a face and a very over one at that. Eddie by the way I want to be a man and I know a man wouldn't let something so insignificant phase him. I originally had 12th row floor, but when my friend and I asked where our seats were we were informed that we had been relocated... to the front row. So this definitely made things that much better. Heidenreich just doesn't seem to have much ring psychology yet. It's too bad they're bringing him back to TV so soon. At one point these guys had a huge banner with Heindenreich's name in red on it. They moved behind Michael Cole and Tazz as the camera was on the announcers. I wonder if these guys were plants. The diva t-shirt bazooka wasn't working quite well. Torrie walked over and told/asked this younger 16ish girl behind us to put it on. I don't know if she meant for her to take off the top she was already wearing to put the new one on, but she did. WWE News: HBK's Return, Eugene, RAW, More HBK vs. Kane announced, RAW not rewritten, and more.... - WWE has announced that Shawn Michaels will wrestle Kane at their September 17th show in Bossier City, LA. The show is being billed as a "Salute to the Legends of Mid-South Wrestling." Chris Benoit vs. Randy Orton is scheduled to headline the show. - Despite not being mentioned on RAW last night, WWE has no plans to drop the Eugene character. Eugene was not included on RAW last night because WWE wanted the focus to be on the Triple H/Randy Orton angle and figured Eugene would take away from it. - RAW was not rewritten following Summerslam due to the surprising crowd reactions at the PPV. WWE fully planned to turn Randy Orton face. WWE also had wanted the Triple H turn against Orton to be a shock, not something built up slowly. - Many Smackdown wrestlers have already violated WWE's new dress code. WWE Pays Out Millions In Salary & Wants To Reach Out To Internet Fans The details from the latest stock report are now available WWE stockholders received their Annual Report yesterday and here are the highlights. While usually WWE Annual Reports are very nice-looking and professional, this year they have been toned down. The cover features 3 small pictures of John Cena, Chris Jericho, and Rey Mysterio, Jr. "reaching" for the ropes as he's trapped in a leg submission by Chavo Guerrero, Jr. The word "REACH" is written in big letters horizontally and vertically. The back cover says "WWE Reach". The first 3 pages of the Report are full-color and have several pictures, most notably of Chris Benoit and Eddy Guerrero celebrating in the ring together. These are from Wrestlemania XX. The last page has a black & white photo of Triple H. Every other year, the entire Report was full-color and glossy, so WWE is definitely cutting back on expenses this year. Linda McMahon wrote the "Letter To The Shareholders". She's happy with WWE's international expansion. She called WM XX a "staggering success", garnering 885,000 PPV buys and making the company more than $20 million from PPV revenue alone. She said PPV buys in general exceeded expectations for the fiscal year. She liked the buy rates for the Raw- and SD!-only PPVs and said that was an indication of the success of the brand extension and the reason why WWE will be introducing two new PPVs next year. She said TV ratings have stabilized and talked about the key demos Raw and SD! excel in. She said WWE has begun to capitalize on the demand for "classic" programming and talked about WWE owning the rights to WCW, ECW, and AWA footage and put over WWE 24/7. Hilariously, after years of putting down Internet fans, Linda said that she realizes that WWE fans are "early adapters" who "love" the Internet, which is why they're going to make WWE.com more interactive in the future. She also put over the sales of WWE video games and albums, the "Smackdown! Your Vote" campaign, the "Smackdown! From Baghdad" episode, and the new "WWE Experience" show. She wrapped it up by saying how great 2004 was and how they will have continued success in 2005. The shareholders' meeting will be held on September 23 at the Weston Hotel in Stamford, CT. Obviously, only shareholders are invited. The 3 issues that will be voted on are: 1. To elect 8 members to the Board of Directors (Vince, Linda, Robert Bowman, David Kenin, Joseph Perkins, Michael Solomon, Lowell Weicker, and Phillip Livingston). 2. To appoint Deloitte & Touche WWE's independent auditors. 3. To approve a stock option exchange, which would require a long and boring explanation that no one would be interested in. Here are some salaries for fiscal year 2004: Vince: $1,085,000 with a $1,085,000 bonus Linda: $750,000 with a $750,000 bonus Kevin Dunn: $517,692 with a $300,000 bonus Vince owns 98.8% of the Class B common stock. Here's everyone's favorite part: the lawsuits! 1. The World Wide Fund for Nature case is discussed in detail. 2. A company called Shenker & Associates filed a complaint relating to the unlawful termination of an agency agreement (a company that did merchandise sales for WWE). 3. Marvel filed a complaint against WWE and Universal Wrestling Corp. (formerly WCW), but not because of Hulk Hogan. They're alleging that WWE breached the terms of a license agreement regarding the rights to manufacture and distribute WCW action figures. The case was dismissed but is being appealed. 4. A class action suit against WWE was filed with regards to their alleged violations of SEC laws relating to their IPO. A settlement has been reached. McMahon Says No Time Off, Randy Orton Makes Headlines McMahon also comments on the weird Toronto Summerslam Crowd Sources in WWE are saying that last night's crowd is being seen as nothing more than a vocal minority of fans and nothing to cause them to change course on any storylines (even with the impending Edge heel turn). Of greater concern is the drop in ratings for both Raw and Smackdown last week. Vince McMahon told wrestlers are a recent meeting that he expects all of them to make every show they're scheduled for and not ask for any time off for a while because they all have to work hard to turn business around. Well to be fair everytime they push A-Train it's a half assed push most of the time and they don't give him enough time to get over and then they just drop him back to the lower mid-card. And then they keep repeating it for the last few years. And when they keep doing that to a wrestler the fans get tired of it and just don't give a damn about the wrestler.

Well knowing Vince next week in the middle of the ring Vince will anal rape a panda while yelling out "Take that you bitch for making me change the name."

And the thing is I've never heard the World Wildlife Fund go by the WWF initials. They just went by the whole name while the fed has gone by WWF. So, like everyone else, I never saw what the big deal was.

Low Ratings Huge Cause Of Concern In WWE Ratings send message to McMahons... Word is that the McMahons, Kevin Dunn, and the rest of the top WWE management team were all really hit hard at the extremely low ratings for RAW and Smackdown this week. In the past, management has always made excuses for low ratings. This time, it seems that they seriously realize that the product has major flaws. Jeff Hardy Speaks On TNA, WWE, Matt, More Jeff's first public interview since joining TNA..... Recap by Richard Trionfo This week on Between the Ropes, sponsored by www.ProFigures.com, current number one contender for the NWA World Title, Jeff Hardy joined Fritz, Dickerman, and Vito DeNucci to talk about his current run in TNA and other matters in the world of professional wrestling. The interview began with talk of Jeff’s match against Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Title on September 8th. He said that he is having fun now, and is no longer burned out by the business thanks to the year that he has been out of the ring. He talked about how much different the schedule is for TNA than for the WWE and how he goes to Nashville on Wednesday and then to Orlando on Thursday. He has the rest of the week to spend at home with his other interests. Jeff mentioned that while he was out of the business, Matt would talk to him regularly about having him come back to the business, but at that time he was focusing on his music, motocross, and art work. The time that he took off allowed him to heal both mentally and physically. He did have some ring rust when he came back, but he feels that the time off helped him to focus instead of having to worry about taking bumps every night. Jeff said that he was going to have some changes in his repertoire in the ring, but he will continue to use his established moves. Jeff said that he had watched some of his old Hardy Boys matches and was amazed at some of the moves that he had done when working with his brother. Jeff said that he will let some of the others to do those moves now. He says that he is still a daredevil, but he is one at a different level. Jeff was asked about Jim Ross’s comments that were made before he stepped down as Senior VP of Talent Relations and how he wanted to sign Jeff with the WWE. Jeff said that he was very close to signing a contract and going to Louisville to work off the ring rust. However, he was not ready to return to the WWE schedule, so he looked to TNA. Jeff talked about his reaction to the chants that Matt hears during his matches of "We Want Jeff" and said that he would like to have a reunion of the Hardy Boys in the future. He said that regardless of what he does as a singles wrestler, he really enjoyed working tag matches with Matt. He said that things involving Matt and Lita in the WWE right now are "nutty and chaotic." He also feels that Matt has done a great job in creating the Mattitude character. Jeff said that Matt has a great mind for the business, and he is the type of person who could have a career working behind the scenes. He talked about how it is sometimes hard to get what you want with your character to happen because of the politics and other people who care more about getting themselves over instead of what is best for the overall picture. Jeff said that he would make suggestions for his character, and some of them were not accepted by the people in the back. However, instead of complaining, he accepted it. Jeff said that he checked out some of the websites on the internet when he decided to start with TNA, and he was surprised that there were some people on the net who were usually critical of everything in the business applaud the signing with TNA and his work with TNA. Latest on Shawn Michaels - Shawn Michaels and his wife have yet to have their baby. The baby was due on August 8th. HBK has told WWE that he will not work SummerSlam if his baby is not born before the show. Of course, the last word was that WWE has no plans to use Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam even if he was to become available (unless plans change). At this point, HBK is set to feud with Kane upon his return, which means he may get involved in the Kane/Matt Hardy/Lita angle. Same-Sex Marriages By DAVID KRAVETS, Associated Press Writer SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court on Thursday voided the nearly 4,000 same-sex marriages sanctioned in San Francisco this year and ruled unanimously that the mayor overstepped his authority by issuing licenses to gay and lesbian couples. The court said the city violated the law when it issued the certificates, since both legislation and a voter-approved measure defined marriage as a union between a man and woman. The justices separately decided with a 5-2 vote to nullify the 3,995 marriages peformed between Feb. 12 and March 11, when the court halted the weddings. Their legality, Justice Joyce Kennard wrote, must wait until courts resolve the constitutionality of state laws that restrict marriages to opposite-sex couples. The same-sex marriages had virtually no legal value, but powerful symbolic value. Their nullification by the high court dismayed Del Martin and Phyllis Lyon, the first same-sex couple to receive a marriage license in San Francisco. "Del is 83 years old and I am 79," Lyon said. "After being together for more than 50 years, it is a terrible blow to have the rights and protections of marriage taken away from us. At our age, we do not have the luxury of time." The court did not resolve whether the California Constitution would permit a same-sex marriage, ruling instead on whether local officials could bypass state judicial and legislative branches. Chief Justice Ronald George noted that Thursday's ruling doesn't address "the substantive legal rights of same sex couples. In actuality, the legal issue before us implicates the interest of all individuals in ensuring that public officials execute their official duties in a manner that respects the limits of the authorities granted to them as officeholders." Anti-gay-marriage groups hailed the ruling, saying Mayor Gavin Newsom had acted "too fast, too soon." "Instead of helping his cause, Mayor Newsom has set back the same-sex marriage agenda and laid the foundation for the pro-marriage movement to once and for all win this battle to preserve traditional marriage," said Mathew Staver, who represents Campaign for California Families in a lawsuit challenging the San Francisco marriages. The justices agreed to resolve the legality of the weddings sanctioned by Newsom after emergency petitions were filed by conservative interest groups and the state's top law enforcement official, Attorney General Bill Lockyer. San Francisco's gay weddings, which followed a landmark ruling by Massachusetts' top court allowing gay marriage — prompted President Bush to push for changing the U.S. Constitution to ban same-sex marriage, an effort that has become campaign fodder this election year. The California court sided with Lockyer's arguments, ruling that Newsom's actions would foment legal anarchy and sanction local officials to legislate state law from city halls or county government centers. When the justices agreed in March to hear the case, they said they would decide only whether Newsom overstepped his mayoral powers for now, but would entertain a constitutional challenge — that gays should be treated the same as heterosexual couples under the California Constitution — if such a lawsuit worked its way to the justices through the lower courts. Gay and lesbian couples immediately acted on that invitation, suing in San Francisco County Superior Court alleging laws barring them from marrying were discriminatory. Mayor Newsom filed a similar lawsuit. The now-consolidated cases are unlikely to reach the California Supreme Court for at least a year or more. California lawmakers have refused to take a position on the matter, and have left the politically volatile issue to its Supreme Court. Newsom argued to the justices in May that the ability of same-sex couples to marry was a "fundamental right" that compelled him to act. Newsom authorized the marriages by citing the California Constitution's ban against discrimination, and claimed he was duty-bound to follow this higher authority rather than state laws banning gay marriage. The Arizona-based Christian law firm Alliance Defense Fund, a plaintiff in one of two cases the justices decided Thursday, had told the justices that Newsom's "act of disobedience" could lead other local officials to sanction "polygamists." Newsom's defiance of state law created huge lines at City Hall by gays and lesbians waiting to be married, and ignited a firestorm engulfing statehouses and ballot boxes nationwide. Missouri voters this month endorsed a state constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage — a move designed to prevent that state's judiciary from agreeing with the arguments Newsom is making in California. A state constitutional challenge by gays in Massachusetts prompted that state's highest court to endorse the gay marriages that began there in May. A judge in Washington state this month also ruled in favor of gay marriage, pending a resolution from that state's top court. Louisiana residents are to vote on the same issue Sept. 18. Then Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Oklahoma, Oregon and Utah are to vote Nov. 2. Initiatives are pending in Michigan, North Dakota and Ohio. Four states — Alaska, Hawaii, Nebraska and Nevada — already have similar amendments in their constitutions.

Former WWE star Maxx Payne is once again promoting the release of a independent film that will feature a lot of footage he shot with his video camera backstage during his time with the then WWF. Payne had planned to release the film years ago, but never did. Many believe that WWE had something to do with the film not being released and don't want something on the film to be released. This time around, the film is being called "The Real Max Payne" and pre-orders have started on Payne's website. The movie is promising an uncensored look at what really goes on backstage in the WWF. The footage is from the early to mid-1990s. HBO used some of Payne's footage in their Real Sports show on deaths in pro-wrestling. That show is best remembered as the show that got Roddy Piper fired from WWE for his controversial comments. But, according to New York's finest, the normally erudite CBS newsman melted down Tuesday night. He was slapped into handcuffs and hauled off to jail Tuesday after he allegedly lunged at a city inspector during a parking dispute. But Wallace and some eyewitnesses say the iconic telejournalist may have been the victim of overzealous traffic cops. The CBS correspondent's troubles began while picking up a meat loaf dinner at a Manhattan restaurant while his driver double-parked outside. The octogenarian emerged from Luke's Bar & Grill as two Taxi and Limousine Commission inspectors were questioning his driver. According to authorities, things got out of hand when Wallace interrupted the inspectors and became "overly assertive and disrespectful." A TLC spokesperson maintains that after being asked three times to step away from the vehicle, "Wallace appeared to lunge toward one of the two inspectors. The other inspector became concerned with his partner's safety and at that point cuffed Mr. Wallace." That's not how Wallace tells it. Speaking on WFAN's Imus in the Morning show, he said "I asked what's going on, and they kept telling me to get back in the car. Then they arrested me and took me to the 19th Precinct." "I'm an 86-year-old man," Wallace told the New York Post. "For whatever reason, this guy and his buddy were intent upon telling me that I was interfering with the execution of the law." The booking details are just about the only ones not in dispute. The 60 Minutes godfather was taken to the 19th Precinct station house, where he was issued a summons for disorderly conduct and released. He's due in court in October. Finding eyewitnesses to back the TV personality shouldn't be a problem. Several were quoted in Newsday saying the inspectors overreacted and that the gathering crowd booed as Wallace was arrested. Ernesto Cavalli, who owns the restaurant next door, claims Wallace was simply asking what happened when "the TLC officer grabbed his shirt and pushed him very strongly against the car and handcuffed him." Cavalli said the inspector then turned to the crowd and said, "Anybody else?" At the time of the arrest, CBS released a statement saying Wallace was home and "is fine." No further information has been released by the network, and Wallace's spokesperson, Richard Leibner, offered "no comment" when reached Wednesday morning.

Bigelow said you can categorize people in the business in two ways - if they are over no matter what they do and those that are marketable. He said even though he jobbed to a lot of guys, his character was still over even if he won or lost where as guys like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and others were the "marketable" talent that could sell the merchandise and so on and so forth. - The GIR intern adds that he also doesn't want to see characters like Eugene in the business anymore because it isn't believable. Bigelow quickly responds, saying he could never be a promoter because he doesn't understand that it is "sports entertainment". He said people love storylines that they can get behind and basically love to hate a guy. The intern added that he doesn't think storylines should go away, he just feels stuff that isn't believable shouldn't take place. Bigelow said when you are a guy like Vince McMahon who has been in the business for 40 some odd years, you run out of new stuff to do. He said the biggest thing to learn about wrestling is that it truly is a business after all is said and done. Bigelow said anyone involved in the business is a robot because you are in a different city, arena and hotel pretty much every day. - Sir Adam brings up how everytime he comes on GIR he impresses them with his vast knowledge of the wrestling business. He mentions that now Bigelow is venturing into a new business as he just recently opened up a Deli. Bigelow said the Deli is located in Hamlin, PA and he is going to be opening up another one soon in Florida. He added that two new places should be up and running by the end of October as well. Sir Adam asks him some of the stuff you can get at the Deli. Bigelow said they have a beef burger and if anyone can eat the whole thing, they are known as the "beast master" and they get a picture taken with him that gets put on the wall. - The Phantom asks how he has been doing since he made the decision to leave the wrestling business. Bigelow said he has been doing a lot better than he has in a very long time. He mentions that he had back surgery in March of 2003 and that it put him out of commission for a while. Bigelow said he is able to get back in the gym now and has been feeling great lately. Talk turns to his last match ever taking place on August 29th. Bigelow said he is going into the ring for one last time to raise money for the Sweeney family as they lost their father who was killed overseas in Iraq. He said that family has helped out the community for a very long time and feels it would be nice to give something back to them in return. Sir Adam asks what he will be feeling like when he walks into the ring for the last time ever in his career. Bigelow said he doubts he will be taking too many bumps during the match due to his current condition. He said the whole point of the match is just a nice way for him to say goodbye and thank all the fans for the support they gave him. Bigelow said he is just glad to leave while he can and doesn't want to turn into another Ric Flair who doesn't know when to call it quits. - The Phantom asks Bigelow if he read Ric Flair's book. Bigelow said he wouldn't read that trash and feels there is a time to quit when it comes to the wrestling business. He said he doesn't mind if guys leave the ring and get involved in the promoting side of it because it makes sense since that is all they know. Bigelow said the best way to leave in his opinion is to leave when you are on top instead of prolonging it. Sir Adam brings up how many guys who are still in the business are doing it because of a paycheck where as a guy like Ric Flair really doesn't need the money. The Phantom asks Bigelow if he was ever scheduled to work a program with Flair. Bigelow said something was planned, but he was obligated to work for New Japan at the time. He said he likes Flair and means no disrespect, but puts him in the category of a guy like Hulk Hogan who should have left the business years ago. Bigelow said the longer Hogan stayed in the business, the worse he started to look. He despite his opinions, he loves all of them and they have been a great inspiration for him to get into the business in the first place. - Talk turns to learning when is the right time to walk away from the business. Bigelow said a lot of guys just don't want to accept that their time is over and feels they have a hard time transitioning to reality. The Phantom asked Bigelow what separtes him from guys who still stick around in the business by starting up wrestling schools or still staying active on indepedent cards. Bigelow said a lot of guys are afraid to face reality and get a real job like he did. He said it is a hard transition when you are appearing on TV every week and all of a sudden you are a normal guy again. Bigelow added that what you do with the first 40 years of your life is great, but you also have to think about what you are going to do with the other 40. The GIR intern asked Bigelow who he feels should leave the business that is still active right now. Bigelow goes back to Flair and also mentions that Terry Funk shouldn't be wrestling anymore. He said they need to just hang it up and accept that they have to move on. The Phantom reads a question from the Forums on the GIR website asking Bigelow about the heat Vader had with Doom. Bigelow brought up first of all that he and Leon never really got along in the first place, but they were put together as a tag team. He mentioned the tag team match from 1992 in Tokyo, Japan when he teamed with Vader against Doom and how Vader was upset that he was only tagged in during the last five minutes of the match. The Phantom brings up how they heard a lot of bad stories about Vader during his career. Bigelow described him as a "red headed stepchild" because he never wanted anyone to invade his territory. - Talk turned to Bigelow's time in ECW and how it played a major factor in his career ending sooner. He mentioned how he crushed his spine badly during a match in Asbury Park, New Jersey against Taz. Bigelow said that caused him to lose two inches in height and knew after that happened it was time to call it quits. The Phantom wondered why he didn't get the same neck surgery like Steve Austin and others did. Bigelow joked that he didn't have a small neck like those guys. He said he worked a lot harder in his matches, always giving 110%. Bigelow said he went that extra mile in his career, comparing himself to a guy like Mick Foley. Sir Adam asks what he feels about Ric Flair calling Mick Foley a glorified stunt man. Bigelow said few people have a love for the business like himself and Foley. He said "old school" guys like Flair have the same match for their entire career. Both Sir Adam & The Phantom thank Bam Bam for joining them on the program and Bigelow invites anyone to come down to his new Deli. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - After a short commercial break, J.J. Dillon joins the show. The Phantom mentioned that when Dillon didn't think he was going to be able to make the show and gave him a plan of when he could, he felt like the fifth member of the Four Horsemen. Sir Adam added that Dillon was great at laying out a battle plan for the group and that it was just great to get instructions from him no matter what the topic may be. Dillon laughed, thanking them for the comments and said he always lives up to his commitments. - Sir Adam asks Dillion if he is amazed that people still talk about the Horsemen like it was yesterday. Dillon said it has been about 15+ years and is still surprised to hear people still talking about them to this day. He said when he did a fan festival for Greg Price last year he was amazed to see an overwhelming response to guys like himself. Dillon said it was great to see a lot of the fans that use to come out to the cards back in the day and talk about the memories they have of certain matches they saw live. He said overall it was a great thing to be involved with. - The GIR intern, who was still trying to earn his grade at this point in the program, asked Dillion if he feels the line-up of Evolution in the WWE right now compares to the Four Horsemen in any way. Dillon said there is no comparison, mentioning that the history of wrestling has shown that you can often imitate but never duplicate. - The Phantom reads an e-mail question from a listener asking Dillon what he really feels about Ole Anderson. Dillon said he first met Anderson during his wrestling days in the early 1970's when he worked for Jim Crockett Sr. He said during that period of time he got to know Ole very well. Dillon said he has the utmost respect for Ole and knows he is the kind of guy that will always speak what is on his mind. He said he thinks it is unfortunate that Ole didn't have more success in WCW and blamed the "big wigs" at AOL Time Warner for not taking the opportunity with a guy like Ole. Dillon said they really didn't get the wrestling business and thought anyone could do it. He said they needed a guy like Ole Anderson to help run WCW because he understood the business and feels it could still be alive today if they went that route. - Sir Adam mentions that Dillon was Vince McMahon's #2 for quite some time and asked what it was like to be that close with him since most people don't get the chance to do so. Dillon said he had actually worked for Vince Sr. before working with Vince Jr. during his early days in the business. He mentioned how well respected Vince Sr. was during that time period and how great of an opportunity it was to work with him. Dillon said to make a long story short, he got a call informing him that Vince Jr. and Pat Patterson were becoming very busy booking all the shows, keeping talent in order, etc. and that help was needed. He said he was eventually offered the job after meeting with Vince, Patterson and Linda around Christmas. The Phantom asked if the job ever included an on camera role. Dillon said it was basically a deal to be an employee and not an entertainer, although he did make a few cameos here and there during contract signings and other segments. - Talk turned to his decision to leave the then-WWF. Dillon said he went to Vince himself and explained that he had some philosophical differences and felt that the day he quit he should do it to his face. The Phantom asked why he made the decision to walk away. Dillon said he took issue with some things that concerned the responsibility of his job that he didn't agree with. He said it all came down to a big disagreement between the two and although he doesn't feel the need to talk about it in detail, it made him lose respect for Vince and didn't want to continue a business relationship with him anymore after that point. Dillon then made a bold statement, saying he would rather flip burgers for a living then ever call Vince back and beg for a job. He said Vince is the kind of business man that will embrace you with open arms, but you will always be on guard because you are unsure if today is the day he wants to get even with you for something that took place in the past. - The Phantom asks Dillon if he can believe that Eric Bischoff now works for Vince McMahon. Dillon feels it is almost like poetic justice that Bischoff is being reduced to something that he was quite frankly suited to do from day one and that is be an on-air talent. He said it is almost funny to imagine Vince giving a guy like Bischoff a job in his company after all the insults he was given about how he was going to put the then-WWF out of business. Dillon said he wonders if Vince wakes up every morning with a smirk on his face knowing he can get Bischoff to basically do whatever he wants. The Phantom asks who he dislikes more - Vince or Bischoff. Dillon said that is a hard question. He mentions that despite the experience, he was grateful that Vince gave him an opportunity and feels the McMahon family is great. Dillon said Vince surrounds himself with good people such as Linda and Pat Patterson. He said Vince was never one to take vacation time and probably never will. Sir Adam plugs that Dillon will be at the Legends Fanfest in Fayetteville, North Carolina on August 14th and 15th and thanks him for coming on. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - After another short commercial break, Sean O'Haire joins the show. The Phantom brings up recent rumors that O'Haire has been in Las Vegas recently wanting to become a K-1 fighter. O'Haire confirmed the rumors and said he is working out a deal right now to work for a promotion that is a minor league of K-1. Sir Adam said he can't believe O'Haire would want to do that stuff. O'Haire said he was the baddest man in WCW and WWE and has no fear of getting involved in the "real stuff" as people call it. - Talk turns to how O'Haire has been involved with martial arts for a long time. O'Haire brings up how he has been practicing the sport since he was 10 years old and is undefeated in 17 matches called Hook and Shoots. He said no one went more than three minutes with him ever. O'Haire said he eventually got into pro wrestling and felt he was able to bring a new aspect to the business with his style. He compares his style to a martial arts movie and wanted to bring that aggressiveness to the ring at all times. - The Phantom asked O'Haire if he thinks he got pushed too fast during his time in WCW. O'Haire disagreed and said he enjoyed working for both WCW and WWE. He brought up how he was one of the fastest students to graduate from the WCW Power Plant next to Bill Goldberg. O'Haire said he really didn't learn the psychology that great, but had all the moves down perfect. He said as time went on and he went to the WWE, he was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling and got to learn the psychology of wrestling more. O'Haire said he feels he is the best at whatever he does and truly felt he was on his way to becoming one of the best wrestlers ever. He said he feels that many times in his career he was pushed fast and then it basically stalled. O'Haire added that he never wanted to ask the question "why" because it would drive him insane. - Talk turned to how the WWE began developing really unique vignettes about his character and The Phantom asked why nothing really came of them. O'Haire said nobody really knows what is going on half the time when a decision is made in the wrestling business. He said he could be wrong, but that was the impression he got during his stint with the WWE. O'Haire said many were in favor of the vignettes he was doing because it was constantly asking the "why" factor in terms of what society feels is acceptable. He said Vince liked it as a good heel move, but saw how the character would be both a babyface and heel. O'Haire mentioned Steve Austin, saying he isn't comparing himself to him at all, but brought up how he would go back and forth as a babyface or heel when he was just being himself. - The Phantom mentioned the whole situation with Roddy Piper and how it really didn't work. O'Haire agreed it didn't work and said it really pissed him off. The Phantom asked if he let any higher-ups in WWE know he was upset. O'Haire said he did and feels that may have contributed to his eventual downfall in the company. He mentioned that he loved working with Piper, but was told by officials that he was the kind of guy that would say what he wanted, whenever he wanted. O'Haire said he never saw the HBO special that caused Piper to get released and never really cared to. He said when that took place though, his career stalled and never got the chance to further from that point on. O'Haire said he has nothing bad to say about the WWE as he never lost a singles match upon his return to the main roster from OVW. He said when people ask him why the WWE stopped using him he never really has an answer for them because he doesn't know himself. - Sir Adam brings up how O'Haire's name has been in the headlines recently and asks if he can give his version of the story. O'Haire said his lawyer told him not to talk about it, but he said "screw it" and that he will talk a little about it anyways. He said all those reports he read never mention the other four guys that was with those girls at the time the altercation took place. O'Haire said the two girls started the fight with him and what was reported was false. Sir Adam mentioned that the newspaper reports said he flicked the hat off one of the girls and kicked the other. O'Haire said he did knock the hat off one, but never touched them. He added that one of the girls hit him so hard in his mouth that he thought she was a professional fighter. O'Haire said after that point he tried to get them kicked out, but was confronted by five to six other guys - some with the girls and some security. He admitted to kicking a few of those guys in the leg when they tried going after him, but said he never touched any of the girls at all. O'Haire said he had left the following day and got a call that there was a warrant for his arrest and was very surprised. He added that he has a great lawyer and knows the girls involved did their best to stretch the truth as far as possible. Sir Adam mentioned that they were out of time, but would love to have him on next week. Minnesota's Star Tribune reports that Brock Lesnar refused to sign a WWE poster of him that a fan brought to him over the weekend at Vikings training camp. Lesnar told the fan that he is no longer signing WWE merchandise. "That was a part of my life, and I just don't sign that stuff anymore," Lesnar said. "Just in case I never go back. They'd have that and they'd just sell it on eBay."
