    Ric Flair agrees with me

What does drawing as a champ have to do with it? All Flair said about Sting is that he has unlimited potential and one of the great performers which I think is true. That's just what Flair himself thinks about him nothing else.

    The Undertaker: 5 months later

No, what they're trying to say is that since UT is in the SD main event for Summerslam then he needs to be on TV every week to build up the match. The fact that UT or JBL weren't on the show after what happened last week makes the match and the belt look like nothing.

    Ric Flair agrees with me

http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/news/new...hp?news_id=9974 Ric Flair Speaks On WWE Title, Orton, More Posted By Ashish on 07.29.04 He keeps talking and talking.... Interview with Ric Flair Date: Thursday, July 29, 2004 Location: Toronto, Canada Interviewer: Joltin' Joe Credit: Thushyan Nadarajah of www.ringrage.com Joltin' Joe recently had the opportunity to interview RAW superstar, Ric Flair. Unfortunately, I missed part one of this two part interview, so I'll start from part two. The interview continues with Joe asking Flair to compare and contrast Evolution and the Four Horsemen. Flair states that all four of the Horsemen possessed excellent skills when it came to their in-ring ability as well as the microphone. He mentions that the Four Horsemen were veterans who had established themselves over time, but Evolution is a younger stable and currently has only two veterans, Triple H and himself. Flair says that both Randy Orton and Batista have a great future ahead of themselves because they're always working hard and are committed to making the product better. Joe asks Flair for a word association segment. During this segment, Joe will name a few people and Flair has to reply with the first word that comes to his mind. Vince McMahon - "Genius" Jim Ross - "The best" Eric Bischoff - "Untrustworthy" Arn Anderson - "My best friend" Sting - "Unlimited potential, one of the great performers" Ricky Steamboat - "The best" Stone Cold Steve Austin - "Biggest drawer of all-time" Triple H - "The franchise" The Rock - "Most charismatic athlete I've ever met in my life" Randy Orton - "The future" Bret Hart - "Overrated" Mick Foley - "Overrated and overstated" Ric Flair - "Having a good time" Joe states that one of the most memorable feuds in pro-wrestling history involved both Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat back in 1989. Joe compliments Flair on this match and asks Flair for his thoughts on this feud. Flair says he's always had great matches because he has worked with some of the best performers. He says that Ricky Steamboat was a phenomenal performer, similar to the Shawn Michaels of today. He states that both of them are equally gifted athletes with similar wrestling styles, but were from different times. Joe goes on to ask Flair which future wrestlers, he believes will be able to draw "mad money." Flair says he's a huge fan of Kurt Angle because he's good at everything he does. As long as Angle stays healthy, he can accomplish a lot in this business. He continues by naming Randy Orton, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero. Flair mentions that Randy Orton is praised backstage and the company feels that he is the next big superstar. Joe plugs WWE SummerSlam, which will be here in Toronto, Canada on August 15 and asks if Flair will be in any matches. Flair says at this point, he will not be in any matches but he will be in attendance. Joe questions Flair about his future with the WWE. Flair says he hopes he has another title run, but if not he would still like to be with the company in some capacity. Joe asks Flair if there's anything else he would like to tell the fans in Toronto. Flair thanks the fans of Toronto for their support for not just wrestling, but all sports. He says Toronto's an awesome city with a great audience and that he loves performing here. The interview ends with a couple of "Woo!'s" from both Joe and Flair. Thanks to Joltin' Joe's Wrestling Hotline for contributing. You can call (416) 350-3000 ext. 2049 to listen to the interview. Long distance charges may apply.

    Like Justice League?

http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=3983 CCI DAY 2: WB ANIMATION STRIKES BACK by Hannibal Tabu, Staff Writer Posted: July 24, 2004 Fans of all ages were treated to a whole lot of animated antics from the enthusiastic staff of WB Animation in one of the best run panels of the convention. Moderator Sam Register from Cartoon Network came out with all of the energy of a motivational speaker, urging the crowd towards more and more cheering. On hand for Q&A was voice talents for Robin, Raven and Beast Boy, actor Ron Perlman (who played "Hellboy" on the big screen and gives voice to villain Slade on the series) and series producer Glen Murakami. Register asked Perlman about "Hellboy 2," and Perlman begged ignorance. "They think I'm too irresponsible," he laughed, "so they won't tell me anything. I guess I'll see you all opening night, hopefully I'll know by then." After showing a music video for the theme song, a lengthy clip of a fight scene with a new villain (in an old outfit) was shown, along with brief clips from the upcoming season. Fans cheered when the familiar lines of Nightwing appeared on screen, swinging a long staff. New team member Terra was closely overlaid with Slade in the clip, implying their stories may be intertwined. A taller, gray haired man was seen who closely resembled many incarnations of Ra's Al Ghul, but the panelists confirmed that Brother Blood would be coming to the show, so the character's red highlighted costume probably imply another kind of immortal than the Demon's Head. Register was especially prolific with his praise for Glen Murakami. "There would be no 'Teen Titans' without Glen," Register gushed. As the "Titans" team was ushered off stage, the screen flared to life again, showing scenes from the upcoming season of "Justice League Unlimited." The clip showed several guest stars that have previously been announced -- Captain Atom, Green Arrow, Rocket Red, Supergirl, et cetera -- and a network of satellites replacing the Watchtower lost in the season finale, "Starcrossed." It also showed clips from the season opener, with Supergirl, Green Arrow and Green Lantern in action, and a nice coda with Batman. Then the laughs and surprises started coming. When Register asked the "JLU" team what was different about this season, producer James Tucker, who works closely with Bruce Timm, quickly said, "B'wana Beast," which got a good laugh from the crowd. Register asked about the deluge of new characters, and Timm revealed that they asked for but could not get Blue Beetle for the show, due to a logjam of rights issues. Timm did say that the Power of Shazam would be coming to Cartoon Network, with an appearance this season by Captain Marvel. As for villains, this season will play host to Lex Luthor and return appearances by Thanagarian antagonists, Amazo, Sersi, and even Brimstone appearing as a runaway killer giant robot created by the government. Again Register was on hand to give credit. "Remember how I kissed Glen's BUTT?" Register asked the crowd. "Bruce Timm trained him." Comic book veteran Dwayne McDuffie talked about bringing in more comic book writers for the show, including J.M. DeMatteis, Warren Ellis, Darwyn Cooke, Ron Zimmerman, and Gail Simone for a "double date" episode involving Green Arrow and Black Canary. McDuffie admitted that Wonder Woman is the toughest character for him to write, "because she's such a symbol. No matter what character trait I try to give her, it's wrong for somebody." Stan Berkowitz, another member of the writing team, said the Flash was a challenge due to the impulse to go overboard with wisecracks. Finally, the "Justice League" team left and were replaced by a full episode of the new animated series, "The Batman." In the episode, a young Bruce Wayne is the title character, the Batman is chased by the cops as often as he chases villains, and the Man-Bat goes toe to toe with the nascent Bat.

Smallville Spoilers for Season 4 & Beyond

http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=3996 CCI, DAY 3: "SMALLVILLE" PANEL AT CCI, SEASON 4 DETAILS by Arthur Lender, Contributing Writer Posted: July 24, 2004 Thousands of people attended the "Smallville" panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego this year to celebrate their beloved superhero drama series. Having just concluded its third season with a major cliffhanger, "Smallville" has never been more popular. Fans eagerly await the next season to find out just what happened to Clark, Lana, Lex, and the rest of the gang. Producers Al Gough and Miles Millar were in attendance, as well as creative consultant and comic heavyweight Jeph Loeb. Rounding out the panel were cast members Allison Mack ("Chloe Sullivan"), John Glover ("Lionel Luther") and the newest member of the "Smallville" team, Erica Durance ("Lois Lane"). CBR News was there to bring you all the information from this exciting panel. Perhaps the biggest shift in "Smallville's" formula is the introduction of Lois Lane, Clark Kent's future wife. Erica Durance portrays a Lois that is a year older than Clark, somewhat neurotic, and very much not interested in journalism. She appears in Smallville looking for her cousin Chloe who seems to be dead. Durance is currently scheduled to appear in 13 episodes next season. What does this mean for Clark's relationship with Lana? Gough and Millar promise that Clark and Lana will not be together for at least a season. Lana has a new love interest that she meets in Paris, but who is actually an American, something that will develop the character in a new direction: "We're going to see a whole new Lana." With his love interest away and involved, Clark must deal with his slowly descending best friend, Lex Luthor. "The relationship between Clark and Lex is absolutely crucial in how Clark becomes Superman," explained the producing duo, adding a note about the fine line between good and evil, "That's how great villains see themselves, as heroes." Despite lots of anticipation among fans, Millar admitted that DC's Dark Knight will not be appearing in season four of "Smallville" due to upcoming Batman film. "With Batman Begins coming out next summer, [the appearance of Bruce Wayne] was put on the back burner." He did, however, suggest that a well known piece of Superman comic mythology will come to the show next season, as well as a bigger part for Martha Kent. "Annette O'Toole is great. She and Mr. [John] Glover will have more scenes together. She's the most underused resource in the show." For all you Tom Welling fans out there, season four promises to explore Clark as a developing teenager. Gough said, "We'll see if Clark can have sex." Not much is known about the season four premier episode, except that Cark Kent is going to fly for the first time in the show's history. Despite some speculation that there is more there than meets the eye, this is certainly a departure from the "Smallville" mantra "no flights, no tights". The character of Pete Ross is no longer a regular cast member, but may have some guest appearances next season. Gough and Millar also promise the return of some old villains, as well as some characters that they are awaiting permission from DC Comics to use. Expect to see the unpredictable effects of red kryptonite come up again, the return of Christopher Reeve, and the possible introduction of the Fortress of Solitude. With the fate of each of the characters uncertain, the audience at the panel was full of questions for both cast and crew. Allison Mack complimented her experience on "Smallville" and received a warm reception from the fans. A different kind of warm reception came from the female contingent of the audience when John Glover came on the stage. He was both humble and hilarious as one audience member offered to be his romantic interest. "This part I have with Lionel is the best I've ever had!" Glover jokingly assured the audience that Lionel is our friend and that "Lionel is not an evil man, he is driven." Fans of "Smallville" remember the striking visual of Lionel with a shaved head during season three's finale episode. When asked if he approved of this aesthetic alteration, John Glover told the audience that it was his idea. Al Gough talked a little about future plans for "Smallville." "We had a five year plan [for the series] that became a four year plan, so we have one year left on it. But, it will go on as long as you guys [the viewers] want it to go." Both producers see a future for the series beyond Clark in his high school days, but say that they will end the series before Clark becomes Superman. One member of the audience asked if Tom Welling was being offered the role of Superman in the upcoming film, to which the answer was no. After the audience expressed their disapproval, Gough reminded the audience, "Look, it's not my f-ing movie, okay?!"

    So whos gay?

http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,14595,00.html "Simpsons": A Gay Old Time by Josh Grossberg Jul 27, 2004, 10:15 AM PT A Simpsons toon is coming out of the closet. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Speaking during a weekend panel at San Diego's Comic-Con convention, show producers dropped a bomb: An upcoming Simpsons story line will focus on what happens when Springfield legalizes gay marriage. "We have a show where, to raise money, Springfield legalizes gay marriage," producer Al Jean told comic book fans. "Homer becomes a minister by going on the Internet and filling out a form. A longtime character comes out of the closet, but I'm not saying who." And with that, Simpsons aficionados got their gaydar on and began winnowing down the list of potential suspects. The early favorite appears to be billionaire Monty Burns' ever-devoted sidekick, Waylon Smithers, who--aside from being a yes-man--has been known to collect Malibu Stacy dolls, lives in the gay part of town (where Homer once shacked up with two gay guys), has a Mr. Burns screensaver and dreams of a naked Mr. Burns jumping out of a birthday cake. But that might be too easy. According to online fan scuttlebutt, there are other characters who might be secretly having a gay old time in Springfield, including Homer's regular-guy cohorts at the nuclear plant, Carl and Lenny, as well as Moe the bartender, the Reverend Lovejoy, Principal Skinner and Comic Book Guy. Of course, the producers didn't rule out a lesbian wedding, either. "It's Homer!" said a joking Simpsons creator Matt Groening to conventiongoers. The gay marriage-themed episode is scheduled to air in January. While the coming-out comments generated the most interest, the show's brain trust also outlined some other upcoming plots. For instance, Springfield residents will also have a cow over corrupt Mayor Quimby and seek to recall him from office--a riff on California recall election in which Arnold Schwarzenegger defeated then Governor Gray Davis. No word whether The Simpsons' Ah-nuld look-alike, Rainier Wolfcastle, will be leading the effort to replace Quimby. Meanwhile, celebs expected to lend their voices to the show next season include Kim Cattrall, Ray Romano, James Caan and rapper 50 Cent. Groening also addressed the long-talked about Simpsons animated movie. He said that plans are still underway, but work on a big screen version won't begin until the tube series takes its final bow. That could be awhile. Now heading into its 16th season, The Simpsons is still posting solid ratings and consistently ranks number one in its Sunday time slot for adults 18-49, the category coveted by advertisers. It has also become the longest running comedy series on the tube and has spawned a billion-dollar franchise for Fox, which after some protracted negotiations, agreed to a new four-year deal with the show's six stars that gave each of them a whopping pay raise to $250,000 per episode. Plenty of d'oh, indeed.

    Chuck Austen Leaves X-Men

http://www.newsarama.com/pages/Marvel/Austen_Leaves.htm Austen Leaves X-Men by Benjamin Ong Pang Kean Chuck Austen has confirmed for Newsarama that he is leaving the X-Men and Marvel. In an exclusive interview with the writer, Austen talked about his Marvel-lous days, the X-Men and more. Newsarama: Let's get this out straight and ironed out first... Did you decide to leave the X-Men and Marvel voluntarily or did you get the boot? Did you finally realize that enough is enough, or was it a case of "the grass is greener elsewhere"? Chuck Austen: Obviously, no matter what the facts are, a lot of people are going to form their own opinions. Speculation is the lifeblood of the industry, in more ways than one [laughs]. And there will be room for speculation, since I don't want to get into any real details. Those specifics are between me and Marvel, really. But the simple answer is: I chose to leave, and it was a tough decision. I didn't "finally realize" anything, I was clear on the situation from very early on, and had discussed it privately many times. I just don't talk about my employment situation publicly, so very few people knew. NRAMA: You'd mentioned before that you were having some editorial disputes. Did that play a role? The reality is, what I said in the press release for Marvel is absolutely true. The people of Marvel were great, and I enjoyed working with them, and am grateful, especially to Joe, for giving me such a tremendous break in comics with the first US War Machine, Elektra and eventually the X-Men. It was an enormous risk to give an unknown such breaks, and I appreciate them giving me those breaks. I think it paid off for both of us. I left because, as I and Joe Q. and others have said in recent interviews, Marvel has changed its internal policies about what is, and is not acceptable in their comics, and I was finding it very difficult to write that way. Not that I couldn't scale back, and not that Mike Marts and the rest didn't want me to try and felt I couldn't. But I'm not naturally geared that way as a creator, and so it took a lot more work, and that work became less enjoyable. Eternal and US War Machine are my true north, so anything less adult and intense from there is harder for me to write. My favorite show on television is Deadwood [laughs]! So, more re-writes, and heavier notes from editorial are less fun, more time consuming and less cost-effective. It's just a business decision, really. I can write the way I'm inclined elsewhere than Marvel, and Marvel can find writers who write the way they want, so why not do it? So I asked off the books Marvel had given me. Mike Marts and I discussed my staying, trying to find a way to work it out. Mike even asked if another editor might work better with me, but that's just another example of how great Mike is, willing to remove ego from the equation in an effort try to make things work. I think he's one of the best people I've ever known or worked with, and I doubt I could work more easily with another editor, outside of Tom Palmer or Eddie Berganza. It was just time for me to move on from Marvel. So in the end, I left and they asked me to give them time to find replacements, and I agreed to stay for at least that long. It was a mutual decision to end it the way we did. NRAMA: When did this happen? CA: About four months ago, now. But the decision had been building for some time. NRAMA: How do you feel about this decision? CA: Great. I miss the characters and the books, and Mike Marts and many of the other people I worked with up there, but it was really best for all of us. I can't say Marvel is wrong for their policies. Well-established super-hero characters like the X-Men, Spider Man and Captain America, really should be "all-ages." NRAMA: Looking back, you got your first big break when you did US War Machine, the first volume. You're an artist too, but more recently, you’ve found your calling in writing comics instead. Lots and lots of them as the months went by. Two volumes of US War Machine, Elektra, Eden's Trail, Captain America, Exiles, Eternal, Uncanny X-Men, New X-Men, X-Men, Avengers ... as well as Action Comics, JLA , the Catwoman movie adaptation, Flywires, and your creator-owned WorldWatch. How'd you manage all the projects? At one time, you were like working on, what, five titles a month? CA: Actually, I never worked on more than four titles a month, or one script a week, except when I was scripting Captain America, and that was a special occasion to help Joe. That was the only time I was burning it at both ends, and truly exhausted. It just seemed like more because when I had an opening in my schedule, I would slip in another fill-in script that would not be used for months, and then seven things would be on the stands on the same day. I was, at one point, really far ahead on a lot of my series work, and people at Marvel wanted to work with me on other, open projects, so it just worked out. Remember, I come from a television background, where the material has to be done or it doesn't go on air, and it can't not air, or the networks go insane. So it gets done. Somehow. I've also learned a pretty healthy work ethic over the years. I get up, shower, work, and write about six hours a day, every weekday, and add an hour or two if things are behind. It seems like a lot of work, in the context you talk about, but it's just an average workload, mostly, that happened to come out in a small timeframe. NRAMA: In your opinion, what would you label as your finest achievements with Marvel Comics? How have you put your stamp on the comics scene with your Marvel projects? CA: Oh, I don't know. I think those things are judged over time, by other people. I have my personal favorites, but on some level I liked every script I worked on, or I wouldn't have turned it in. Winning the Genesis award for "Can They Suffer" in X-Men Unlimited was certainly a high point. And having the award presented by Kelly Hu with C.B. Cebulski there was icing on the cake. US War Machine is a perennial favorite of mine, and we legitimately produced it on a weekly schedule, so I'm extremely proud of that. Elektra with Bendis was great fun. The Gambit story in Ultimate X-Men. My Exiles stuff was a blast. Several Uncanny stories will always be my favorites, particularly my first Northstar story, Juggernaut coming onto the team, Sammy. Giant Jan in the Avengers, Captain Britain, who evolved way beyond what I originally intended. I ended up loving that character. The new Invaders. The Eternal, of course. I loved working on that book. I was even really proud of the work on Eden's Trail, in the end, though I know Steve Uy hated it. It's hard to be specific. Let other people decide. They usually do, anyway [laughs]. NRAMA: If you could turn back the clock and change one thing, would you? CA: Nothing. I'd do nothing different. I rarely have regrets about what I decide to do. It was a blast playing with all the childhood toys. You do your best to entertain, and not everything is as successful as everything else, but you try to make it surprising and fun, which is difficult with fifty years worth of history and story in these characters. I have no regrets. And how can you, anyway, really, in an industry that can reset itself? NRAMA: Of all the projects at Marvel, you've worked on the X-Men titles the longest. How does it feel like to leave the mutants behind after all these years? CA: It's tough. And because of the double shipping, there's been a lot of material I've worked on, a lot of characters I've played with. I'll miss them all. Even though you know they're not yours, they're the product of a corporation and many, many diverse hands in the stew -- you grow to love them. They become a part of you, and it's hard to let go. NRAMA: What's going to be your last issue of X-Men? CA: #164. NRAMA: Who'll you miss the most? CA: That's a tough one. Annie. Sammy. Alex. Warren and Paige. Bobby. Juggernaut, definitely. Perhaps him more than the others. But I wound up really loving Archangel, in the end. Hell, I even miss Stacy. She was fun. I wish I could have kept her. Jubilee. Josh Guthrie. Lorna. Loved Lorna. NRAMA: What's in store for the x-fans in the remaining issues of your run? CA: Big stuff. Lots of shocks and surprises, and this time, all the fans will love it. Guaranteed. Either because it catches them off guard, or because I'm leaving [laughs]. NRAMA: What plans did you have for them that the readers would not see in the pages of the monthlies, or sometimes, bi-weekly comics? CA: So many. Soooo many. I even have a few scripts that Marvel owns that will probably never see print. I had a lot of plans for Warren and Paige, more emerging angels, and Warren becomes reclusive as a world of infirm and cripples make pilgrimages to him for him to attempt to heal them. The return of Azazel. Sinister's death camps. Big things for Havok and Annie and Carter. Some surprises with Polaris. Some twists with the new Xorn. A relationship for Northstar. Josh Guthrie was going to have a lot happen to him. Mindee, one of the cuckoos, had a growing role. There's a few jolts coming with Juggernaut, that would have played out differently if I'd stayed. My head was loaded with X-stuff for years. I loved all the characters, really, and had plans for them all. As I said, this was a tough decision, and I had to remove my personal feelings from it. In the end, it's business. NRAMA: So, who's taking over the X-Men? CA: No idea. I don't want to know, and never ask those questions just in case it's someone who's going to make me look bad [laughs]. First I had to follow the brilliant Geoff Johns. Then imagine how hard it was to learn Bendis was taking over the Avengers after me. The man's a genius, and you just can't look good in comparison [laughs]. NRAMA: Looking ahead, what do you have planned? What's next for Chuck Austen? Are you going to make DC your new home as much as Marvel was your former one? CA: Doubtful. Although never say never. I like having a certain amount of freedom, and I'd like to explore more things outside of mainstream superheroes. I'm working on a baseball comic. Science Fiction. There are some pitches in at DC. A men's adventure thing for Humanoids. We're batting ideas around. I'm keeping an eye on WorldWatch to see if self-publishing can pan out for me. Strips may re-emerge in some form, along with Hardball. I'm looking into the viability of that, and drawing again. NRAMA: So you’re looking at self-publishing as an alternative? Are you going to do more of such projects, or is this going to be sort of something like a part-time job? CA: Depends on the sales [laughs]. If the sales stay strong, I'll be doing more of it. If they increase, I may even expand the publishing empire a bit, and add another title or two, if there's money in it. Right now, it breaks even, and I'm doing it for fun and freedom. NRAMA: Any parting words for the people that you'd worked with at Marvel, specifically EiC Joe Quesada, X-editor Mike Marts, Tom Brevoort, Steve Uy, the artists, etc? CA: Only that I enjoyed working with all of them. Even when there may have been tension, I was pleased with the results, and still liked them all personally. I'll miss them all. Ralph, Nick Lowe, CB Cebulski, Tom, Mike Marts. Guys who already left, like Brian Smith, and Mike Raicht. I loved those guys. Marvel has a lot of good people, and I wish them nothing but success. The comics industry needs it.

    Kamala Returning to WWE?

I thought it would have been funny if the former WWE superstar was Steve Austin and during the skit he has Debra flashbacks and yells "Derba why didn't you cook my dinner" and then he goes nuts on all the wannbe divas.

It would have been better then what we did get. The thing with Kamala was funny for the first diva or so but, then it just dragged on and got worst by the second.

WWE News & Notes from the 7/26 Observer

Now this brings up an interesting question. If JBL keeps the title after the UT feud who does JBL fight next? The only face I can think of that will work is Cena. Unless they want JBL and Eddie to feud again.

WWE News & Notes from the 7/26 Observer

So does this mean that UT is winning the belt and then feuding with Jon Heidenreich over the WWE TITLE of all things? Nice to see Vince has learned his lesson over what happened with Jon last time and Nathan Jones thing.

Hey I wish Gardner was in JLU just so we can see the famous Gardner wants to fight Batman and Bats knocks him out with one punch from way back when in JLI, I think it was.
  23. I never really liked that one. It looked like a poor man's verison of the WWF Eagle belt.

The Hawkins County Jail inmates, who bought four cases of beer before returning to the jail, were charged Monday with escape and introduction of intoxicants into a penal institution, the Kingsport Times-News newspaper reported Tuesday. "I guess they thought if they came back they wouldn't be charged with escape, but they were wrong," Sheriff Warren Rimer said. Ridgy Dean Coleman, Jimmy Joe Stapleton, David Wayne Blizzard and David Allen Hopkins escaped Thursday night when their cell block doors were unlocked and a faulty control panel failed to alert jailers, Rimer said. Two of the inmates walked out through a fire exit, left the door propped open with a small Bible and made a hole in the exercise yard fence. They walked to a nearby market and bought the beer. The inmates did not raise alarm at the store because they were wearing street clothes borrowed from other prisoners. The crowded jail doesn't have enough orange jumpsuits for all of its inmates. The sheriff pointed out that all 36 inmates on the cell block might have tried to escaped while the doors were unlocked. "At least they came back," he said.
