Big Name Rappers To Appear At WWE Pay-Per View?

I'd predict it would be a 3 1/2 to a 4 star shoot out. Which means it would be better then the Eddie/JBL match.
  2. Update On Future Of Steve Austin And GOLDBERG... Most in WWE are now also saying that Steve Austin will not be returning to the company soon. Many thought after Austin left that he would return soon. The general feeling now is that he could return for WrestleMania next year. Meanwhile, Austin and Goldberg appear to be in talks with Dream Stage Entertainment in Japan about working a match. Credit: Torch Newsletter

    Oldsmobile: Dead at 106

http://money.cnn.com/2004/04/29/pf/autos/olds_dead/index.htm Oldsmobile: Dead at 106 The last car from America's oldest car company rolls off the line in Lansing, Mich. April 29, 2004: 11:44 AM EDT By Peter Valdes-Dapena, CNN/Money staff writer NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - The last car from America's oldest car company -- an Oldsmobile Alero -- rolled of a Lansing, Mich., assembly Thursday morning. The death of the Oldsmobile -- a brand with sales that have dropped steadily in recent years -- marks the end of an era in American automaking. Olds says it was the first company to mass-produce cars -- not Ford -- and that it pioneered the use of chrome and automatic transmissions in American cars. The last Alero went to the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum, named for Ransom Eli Olds, who co-founded the Olds Motor Vehicle Company in August 1897. "Oldsmobile production has remained unprofitable and, therefore, GM's current planning is to end production with the 2004 models," General Motors, the world's biggest automaker, said in September 2001. The last 500 Aleros produced were painted metallic cherry red and carry special Final 500 markings. Special final edition versions of Oldsmobile's Bravada SUV and Silhouette minivan are also being offered by those Oldsmobile dealers that remain. The final edition Bravada has been a particularly hot seller, said Vince Peckens, sales manager at DeMaagd GMC, Nissan-Oldsmobile in Battle Creek, Mich. Peckens said his dealership will keep selling Oldsmobiles until there are no more left on the lot. That will probably happen by the end of the summer, he said. Curved Dash There are about 1,750 Oldsmobile dealerships still in operation, said Rebecca Harris, a GM spokeswoman. While the Alero will be no more, the Lansing plant will continue operating, producing the last 2004 model year Pontiac Grand Ams, a car fundamentally similar to the Alero. A new plant nearby will produce the 2005 Pontiac G6, a replacement for the Grand Am. Joined GM in '08 Oldsmobile was the second brand to become part of General Motors. The automaker, by then called Olds Motor Works, joined GM in November 1908, two months after Buick, according to General Motors historical information. Ransom E. Olds had left the company four years before that, dismayed that the company was turning toward manufacturing high-end cars in contrast to his own vision of building inexpensive cars for the masses, said Bob Casey, transportation curator for the Henry Ford Museum. He went on to found a new car company called Reo, for his initials, said Casey. That company stopped making cars in 1936 but continued for some time as a truck manufacturer. Under ex-GM CEO Alfred Sloan's vision of creating a ladder of brands that would allow buyers to step up to increasingly luxurious GM cars as their wealth increased, Oldsmobile became GM's mid-market brand, said Casey. It was positioned somewhere between the high-end brands like Cadillac and Buick and the more mass-market bands Chevrolet and Pontiac. Once GM (GM: Research, Estimates) began relying more on sharing components, and virtually entire cars, among different brands, Oldsmobile began to suffer from a loss of identity, said Ken Gross, an automotive historian and columnist for Old Cars Weekly. "It was the ultimate middle child," said Gross. Olds claims to be the first company to mass produce gasoline-powered automobiles, something that is often credited to Ford Motor Co. Ford (F: Research, Estimates) takes credit for having the first moving assembly line in 1913. According to historical information from GM, Olds' Curved Dash automobile was mass-produced in 1901. Whether or not that's true "depends on your definition of 'mass produce'," said Casey. Oldsmobile also claims to be the first to use chrome decoration on its cars. In 1926, the shiny metal plating was used on Olds radiator shells. It also claims the first cars with a fully automatic transmission, the Hydra-Matic, which debuted in 1940 models. The 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass W-30 4-4-2 convertible muscle car was named one of the most collectible American cars by auto auction company Kruse International in 2003.

Saved By The Bell Questions That You Asked

Yeah at least with the old cast when they got jobs at the beach Belding wasn't there. But, with the New Class it seem the Belding and Screech went everywhere with them. They had summer jobs at the mall, they got jobs at a ranch, and there was another one were they were running a winter ski lodge and Belding and Screech were there. That was alittle to much.

Triple H Delays Movie Shoot; Wrestlers Happy Austin Is Gone Some backstage WWE news items.... - WWE has decided to push back the movie they are making which will star Triple H in order to keep him on RAW. Shooting has been pushed back a month or two. With all the major departures from WWE, the company feels it is important to keep Triple H on TV right now. - The Triple H vs. Chris Benoit match is still set to be a key part of WWE this summer and should be one of the major matches at Summerslam. - Most wrestlers are happy that Steve Austin is gone from WWE. Nobody liked having to sell for a "retired" wrestler who never really put any of the active guys over. Credit: PWInsider.com

An idea to keep matches and Angles fresh

Here's an idea how the keep everything from going stale. Don't do the 2 ppv's per month deal. With the way the market is now and the $40 price tag there is no way 15-18 are going to do well and from the same wrestling company. And if they do this they should have special In Your House type PPV's were they only cost $20 or do some kind of package deal were you two or more and get a discount.

New Japan Upset With WWE Over JR's Comments Plus other New Japan/WWE notes.... Many in New Japan Pro Wrestling are upset with the comments Jim Ross made last week on WWE Byte This. Ross said that Japanese wrestling is currently "sucking pond water." Antonio Inoki was apparently extremely upset and may have told his staff to sign former WWE talents such as Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, and Goldberg as a way of showing the world that New Japan is the world's top wrestling promotion. Some of the heat may also be due to the fact that WWE hasn't shown interest in working with any of the Japanese promotions and have no trouble drawing huge gates for their Japanese events. Meanwhile, WWE is in talks with New Japan about buying out the footage of Chris Benoit's matches for the promotion. WWE wants to use the footage in the upcoming Benoit DVD. Credit: PWInsider.com

An angle Randy orton could try

Let Flair play the part of the Jackal. And Vince can play the part of the Green Goblin.

An angle Randy orton could try

Well time will tell how well the Foley feud got Orton over and I haven't seen the hardcore match yet. But, I thought the feud was shitty. First, why should I care that Orton beats up retired wrestler Foley when HHH has already done it countless times. And Foley was always looking like a dumbass by walking in to traps and, of course, with the way Orton was always beating him at every turn there was no doubt he was winning the feud. And I'm just sick of Foley always talking about how he doesn't like the way the WWE is but, then the minute Vince offers him money or a chance to plug one of his book's Foley is right there doing the shit he says he doesn't like. Like when he first came in to replace Austin. What was the point of that? He added nothing to the product or the storyline and it was just more of the same shit that we had with Austin.

An angle Randy orton could try

After the shitty Foley/Orton angle I rather Orton stop going after retired wrestlers and start having feuds with current wrestlers so he can grow and the fans can see what he is made of.

The One and Only Smallville Thread

I like last week's ep with Chole being bathed in that green stuff and everyone had to tell the truth around her. And was anyone else shocked that Pete kissed her and told her he loved her? I never would have guessed that. This could lead to either something very interesting with Chole and Pete or it could be a lame shakeup thing.

    Favorite Series Premiere?

Well since everyone has done current shows I thought I'd go old school and say Miami Vice. From the opening scene with Peter Gabriel's "Rhythem of the Heat" to the gripping gunplay, the storyline, and chemistry between Crockett and Tubbs. And who could forget the scene in the Dayonta while "In The Air Of The Night" plays in the background. The pilot set the tone for Miami Vice and did a damn good job of it. Another one is Knight Rider. It did a good job is setting everything up. It was dark compared to how the show would become more campy later on. Devon was more of an asshole, Michael was pissed for having his life taken and wanted revenge, and Kitt sounded more like a robot. And I love the way they first showed Kitt by having only his red scanner appear at first in a dark garage. And it showed all the cool things Kitt can do. Michael Knight had a kinda Batman/supercop thing going on in the pilot and the first couple of eps.

    WWE news from Pwinsider.com

More WWE Notes: Dudleys, Bradshaw, Gates, More Even more WWE news items... - The Dudleys got strong heel heat at the house shows over the weekend and most in the company are happy with how they are doing as heels. - Many are still upset and frustrated backstage over the push of John Bradshaw Layfield. The general feeling continues to be that he won't be able to draw PPV buys and everyone knows it but nobody will say anything since Vince McMahon is behind his push. - The 4/24 SD! house show in Tulsa drew a bit over 4,000 for a $100,000 gate. The 4/25 show drew a bit under 4,000 paid for a $120,000 gate. - WWE has sent a cease and desist letter to AWA Stars concerning how they recently advertised that they could book matches between "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. The Shield, season 3. Official Thread

Yeah that's right he did tell her I forgot. But, anyways I still think she is going to find Julian jerking to gay porn or in bed with another man. Like his old "boyfriend" from Season 1.

Saved By The Bell Questions That You Asked

Here's another question for you. Do you think any of the gang did drugs after school? Now, I'm not talking about the Johnny Dakota ep, or when Jessie was hooked on coffe pills, or the drinking and driving ep. I don't know about you but, I thought Zack did drink beer and did drugs but, nothing hard just some weed from time to time. He just seem like the type. He just trying to make himself look good in the Dakota ep. I also think Slater did beer and weed from time to time. Kelly being as popular as she was may have tired it once or twice but, that's it. Jessie, coffee pills aside, never did or try any of that. And I doubt Lisa would have tired weed because of the smell messing up her clothes. And, of course, Screech didn't try any of them at all.

The Shield, season 3. Official Thread

After watching tonight's ep I having a strong feeling that Shane stole that 7 grand and it's going to lead to him or his GF getting killed off by season's end. When Julian went in to give his sperm sample I just know that he was going to jerk it to gay porn. I think somehow, someway (like maybe finding him in bed with a man) his wife is going to find out his was/is gay and then is going to leave him. And damn I really didn't think Tommy was going to kill himself.

    Favourite Phil Collins song

Simple. In The Air Of Tonight. Whenever I hear that song I always think of the scene in the Miami Vice pilot were Crockett and Tubbs are driving thru the dark streets of Miami in the Dayonta with the top down, the lights reflecting of the hood and Crockett's hair blowing in the wind. That music scene MADE Miami Vice and set the tone for the show and showed how good the show can be with music.
