http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/story.jsp...780.htm&sc=1110 Girl Beaten, in Coma After Dare to Kiss BALTIMORE (AP) - A 12-year-old girl was beaten into a coma by a group of other girls and women after she kissed the boyfriend of another girl on a dare, police said. Three adult women and two teenage girls have been charged in the beating of Nicole Townes, who remained in a coma Wednesday more than a week after the attack at a Feb. 28 party. ``I have seen people beaten to death, but not a child and not for no apparent reason,'' Detective Donny Moses said. ``This is a hideous story.'' The attack happened after an unidentified boy, also 12, was dared to kiss Nicole. After the kiss, his 14-year-old girlfriend attacked Nicole, and others joined in, beating the girl for at least 30 minutes. Monique Baldwin, 36, and Erin Baldwin, 19, were charged with attempted murder and assault, said Moses, who said he didn't know the relationship between the two. Kenya Keene, 25, was charged with assault and conspiracy to commit child abuse. Two unidentified teens, ages 13 and 14, were also arrested, but Moses said he did not know the specific charges against them. The adults are also accused of giving false statements about what happened, telling authorities Townes fell and hit her head on a wall.

http://channels.netscape.com/ns/crime/stor...110&related=off Ill. Woman Accused of Spiking Kids' Juice NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) - A licensed pharmacy technician was charged with aggravated battery for allegedly spiking her children's orange juice with the anti-depressant drug Xanax, police said. Michelle Helgeson, 30, appeared Monday in DuPage County Court, where she was ordered held in lieu of $100,000 bail. State's Attorney Joseph Birkett said more charges could be filed in the case. Police accuse Helgeson of serving the tainted juice on Sunday to her 10-year-old son, and two daughters, 9 and 4. Birkett said Helgeson, who is divorced, called 911 when one of the children became sick. ``She had crushed some pills, put them in orange juice and gave them to the kids,'' he said. When paramedics arrived at the family's home, the children were lethargic but conscious and sitting on the floor, Naperville police Sgt. Joel Truemper said. The children were taken to a hospital and held overnight for observation. Investigators aren't sure why Helgeson might have given the medication to her children. But, Truemper said, ``Between her interview, interviews with her children, physical evidence at the scene ... the decision was, this was not an accident. This was intentional.'' The children were expected to be released to their father, Michael Helgeson, who shares parenting responsibilities with his ex-wife. ``The kids would have been fine if she had never called,'' Truemper said. ``We didn't charge her with attempted murder based on the condition of the kids. It never got close to that.'' Truemper dismissed comparisons between the case and that of Marilyn Lemak, a Naperville mother convicted of drugging and smothering her three children in 1999. Last year, a Northwest Airlines flight attendant who spiked a toddler's apple juice with Xanax lost his job and was sentenced to home confinement after pleading guilty to federal charges.

When was this? I do not remember it at all. Lol, I meant cartwheel. Why I said moonsault I don't know... Sounds like something JR would say.

http://channels.netscape.com/ns/crime/stor...110&floc=NW_1-T Woman Charged in Death of Disabled Son CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. (AP) - A woman was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of her disabled teenage son, who weighed just 23 pounds, authorities said. Emergency workers responding to a call for assistance Thursday morning found 15-year-old Seamus M. Leonard, who suffered from cerebral palsy, lying amid piles of trash. An autopsy revealed the boy died of pneumonia and malnutrition was listed as a contributing cause, prosecutor Gary Pack said. ``The condition of this victim was worse than any victim I have ever seen,'' he said. ``It would bring anyone to tears.'' The mother, 44-year-old Kathy Leonard, was in custody Friday in lieu of $1 million bond. Another hearing was scheduled for March 17. Leonard's public defender, Richard Behof, did not immediately return a call Friday. Six other children, ages 3 to 17, were placed in protective custody. The home was deemed uninhabitable by the city's building department and county health department, police said. ``The house was in absolute squalor,'' Police Chief Howard Parth said. Social workers visited the home in January 2003 after complaints of a fight between the children's father and one of the older sons. Stephen Leonard, 48, no longer lives in the home, officials said. ``There was no indication the home was in the condition it is now,'' DCFS spokeswoman Jill Manuel said. Five of the six children - two boys and four girls - occasionally fed the victim, but they did not tell teachers or neighbors of the conditions in the home, according to Pack.

Bret Hart lost his fight to claim worker's compensation benefits in Washington D.C. earlier this month. Hart claimed that he worked in D.C. because he wrestled there, his merchandise was sold there, and his matches were shown there. Hart's career ended there in December of 1999 due to a kick to the head from Goldberg. WCW opposed his claim, stating that he worked in Georgia (where he signed his contract) and therefore was covered by Georgia law. It was ruled that Hart did not work in Washington D.C. WWE News: Goldberg's Future, Edge, SD!, Stern Lots of big WWE news items... - Brock Lesnar leaving WWE has not had any impact on Goldberg’s future with the company. He is still planning to leave following WrestleMania XX. The bottomline is that WWE simply does not want to pay him as much as they are paying him under his current deal, and Goldberg won’t return for less. Goldberg also no longer has any confidence in WWE’s booking following what he feels was a year of being misused. - It appears that Edge will return as a member of the RAW brand. Both RAW and Smackdown wanted Edge’s services, but it is likely he is headed to RAW when he returns in April. - Many members of the Smackdown roster are growing upset with how WWE is treating the show as second to RAW. Brock Lesnar is leaving the company and now Smackdown will also lose Edge. Many also point out that Smackdown was named in honor of the Rock, but WWE even moved him to RAW. - WWE has been having talks with Howard Stern about appearing at WrestleMania XX, but Stern confirmed yesterday that he won’t be on the show. Stern wanted $1 million for the appearance and WWE was willing to offer only $500,000. Stern would have likely had a role in the Playboy Evening Gown match. Credit: PWInsider.com Updated On Stephanie McMahon's Status What is the princess up to? Stephanie McMahon has not been talked about for awhile since she no longer appears on TV. Despite being out of the news, Stephanie is still extremely active backstage and remains the main creative coordinator. Credit: Torch Newsletter PPV Companies Concerned Over Increased WWE PPVs Some don't want WWE to extend to 16 PPVs... Many in the cable industry are questioning WWE's decision to increase their PPV schedule to 16 per year. WWE is planning to run two PPVs this June. The feeling of many is that saturating their own PPV market will end up lowering overall WWE PPV buys. Credit: Torch Newsletter More Backstage Reaction To Brock Leaving WWE Most happy to see him go... The backstage reaction to Brock Lesnar's announcement that he is leaving WWE is just about unanimous in that everyone is glad to see him go. Brock was not liked backstage and the general feeling is that he was a whiner. Many also believe that Brock will eventually be back. Brock Lesnar Expected To Speak On Situation To make radio appearance tomorrow... Brock Lesnar is expected to publically mention that he is leaving WWE this Friday during an appearance on Mike Morris morning radio show. Morris is a former Minnesota Vikings player. Many signs indicate that Brock will be trying out with the Vikings this summer. Credit: 1wrestling.com

RAW Wrestlers Getting Frustrated With Creative Team Many think writers only write for top stars... Much of the RAW crew is frustrated with the creative team. They feel as if the writers only write for the top stars like Steve Austin or Evolution. The general belief is that Vince McMahon only pressures RAW writers Brian Gewirtz and Michael Hayes to come up with stuff for the top stars. Credit: Torch Newsletter

Hell ever since Batman Returns first came out in '92 there was talks, plans, rumors, whatever of Tim Burton doing a Catwoman movie with Pfieffer but, for whatever reason it never. I think it would have rocked if they did.

Austin: So writers what have got for me today. Writer: Well Steve there be two guys wrestling and then you come down the on your ATV and give them stunners. Austin: BRILLIANT Writer: Then you'll do an interview so the crowd can chant What Austin: BRILLIANT Writer:Then you spend the next 15 minutes beating up Brock and making him look like a bitch. Austin: BRILLIANT Writer: Then you'll drink lots of beer. Austin: BRILLIANT Writer: Then you'll give a woman a beer and when she doesn't drink it you bitch slap her and give her a stunner. Austin: BRILLIANT Writer: And, of course, JR will be yelling your name like he does for you in the bedroom. Austin: BRILLIANT. You guys are the best writers in the world I don't know why the rest of the RAW wrestlers don't like you. Aw they're dumb anyways. -
Or better yet Vince can restart the XFL.

Three Way Ladder Match May Happen At Backlash.
EdwardKnoxII replied to Max Danger's topic in The WWE Folder
Yeah lets book a ladder match between a guy with a bad neck, a guy with a bad back, and a guy with just a broken down body. This should be a fun train wreck. -
Because they don't have an eye for hosses like JR does.

RAW Wrestlers Getting Frustrated With Creative

Wrestlers Happy With Backstage Talent Meetings Everyone thinks they are for the best... The pre-RAW and Smackdown talent meetings have gotten over very well with the wrestlers. While many complained of problems early on, those seem to have been fixed. Wrestlers like that they are told what is working and what to fix. Vince McMahon, Jim Ross, Johnny Ace, Stephanie McMahon, and a variety of agents provide feedback to the talent each week. Credit: Torch Newsletter
