So who DOESN'T care about Foley/Orton

Or Foley will talk about how bad the current direction/storylines in the WWE are and how he doesn't want to be a part of them but, the minute Vince flashes some cash at him or tells him he can shill his new book Foley is right there like whore.

So who DOESN'T care about Foley/Orton

Let me remind you--a few months before reappearing he said that he didn't think the Nash/HHH angle was bad, and is not ashamed to have taken part in it. Does anyone remember awhile back when Vince asked Foley to join the writing team or something like that with the writing? Why do I have the feeling if he did he'd just be a yesman and the angles would be just as bad or worst.

Well with the way the crowds have been for the past few weeks if Orton beats Foley at MSG the crowd will just sit there and do nothing.

So who DOESN'T care about Foley/Orton

Oh yes it does make sense that The Rock would be the only one that would come to Foley's aid cause he's a real friend. But, problem is that the Rock will overshadow everyone. They won't care about the feud they'll just care about the Rock but, that's just me. the thing that gets me is that just 4 months ago or whatever, about 7 guys came out and paid tribute to him as friends... I guess they are still mad that Foley walked out as a coward.

So who DOESN'T care about Foley/Orton

Well here's the thing about it. If the reports are true this is all from the mind of Foley. So if you have a problem with this feud take it up with Mick.

  16. http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/Central/02/26/c...n.ap/index.html Report: Police had 15 contacts with Columbine killers LAKEWOOD, Colorado (AP) -- Authorities had at least 15 contacts with the Columbine High School killers dating back two years before their murderous attack, the state attorney general said Thursday, angering families of the victims. Attorney General Ken Salazar did not, however, blame the Jefferson County sheriff's office for missing warning signs about Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. Instead, he summarized how investigators reacted to 1997 complaints about Harris, from a thrown snowball that cracked a car window to a prank telephone call. There were more ominous signs, too: Authorities have said an anonymous tip that year led a deputy to a Web site run by Harris that said the two teens had built pipe bombs and concluded: "Now our only problem is to find the place that will be 'ground zero."' Harris, 18, and Klebold, 17, killed 12 students and a teacher before taking their own lives at the school near Littleton on April 20, 1999. It remains the deadliest school shooting in U.S. history. "In the end, none of the many efforts to open up the Columbine records, including today's activity, will mean much beyond passing curiosity if we cannot learn from this tragedy," Salazar said at a news conference. Authorities on Thursday also publicly unveiled a chilling display of evidence -- the murder weapons, bullet fragments, the chairs and tables where the victims were gunned down. A message board put up in a school window that day still says in blue Magic Marker: "1 bleeding to death." Authorities also released two videos, one of the anxious scene in a park across the street from the school that day, and another, 90-minute compilation of videos made by Harris and Klebold. Much of the material is headed for the state archives. Relatives of the dead and survivors of the horrific attack saw much of it for the first time in a private viewing Wednesday. "When you read about the number of bullets that were shot and you read about the number of guns, it's one thing," Darrell Scott, whose daughter Rachel was killed, said on NBC's "Today." "But when you walk into a room and see the overwhelming numbers of spent shells and bullets and pipe bombs and knives, it was just an overwhelming sight." He said it was "the first time my wife and I had seen the gun that actually killed Rachel." A key part of Salazar's investigation looked at work done by former sheriff's deputy John Hicks. Sheriff Ted Mink asked Salazar to investigate why a 1997 report by Hicks -- found in a folder last October -- was never reviewed as part of the probe into the shootings. At the time, Mink said it seemed obvious the sheriff's office knew of Harris and Klebold long before the slayings. Hicks also looked into a 1998 complaint that Harris posted a death threat against a fellow student on the Web site, along with descriptions of pipe bombs he and Klebold built. Randy and Judy Brown, whose son was named in the threat, reported the information to the sheriff's office. A warrant was drafted to search Harris' home, but it was never executed. Hicks left the department in 2000 and now lives in South Carolina. Tom Mauser, whose son, Daniel, was killed at the school, said he wanted more details about why the search never took place. "If we're going to learn lessons, that's a key part of it," he said. "Why did law enforcement stop where it did?" Brian Rohrbough, whose son, Danny, died at Columbine, said he still hoped to get the information he and other family members have been seeking. "We're going to keep looking until we get the answers," he said.

    Someone Raped A Horse

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/pal...=sfla-news-palm `Horrific' attack on horse investigated in West Boca By Nancy L. Othón Staff Writer Posted February 20 2004 WEST BOCA · Sheriff's deputies are investigating the sexual assault of a horse earlier this week, while the mare's owner has gathered enough donations from fellow horse lovers to offer a $10,000 reward. The horse, a 31-year-old Arabian named Rosie, is on intravenous antibiotics and is expected to recover within a few weeks but will require surgery. "I still don't believe it," said Rosie's owner, Kim Boros. "It's just sickening." Boros, of Pompano Beach, has owned Rosie for about 13 years and boards her at a barn on Horseshoe Acres off Clint Moore Road west of Boca Raton. A 13-year-old girl taking care of Rosie found the bleeding horse in an adjoining pasture at about 5 p.m. Sunday. and her mother immediately called Boros. "My first thought was, she's going to die -- that's a lot of blood," Boros said. After doing a thorough examination, Dr. Jerry Rudnick told Boros that Rosie has been sexually assaulted. A tree branch used in the assault was found in the pasture and taken as evidence. Animal-cruelty investigator Cassie Kovacs is pursuing the case as aggressively as she can, said sheriff's spokesman Paul Miller. "She has not seen anything like this," Miller said. "This is horrific." In his 18-year career caring for horses, Rudnick said, he has seen this type of incident just once before, several years ago in Broward County. That attack was not as violent as the one inflicted on Rosie, Rudnick said. Together with friends and acquaintances who share her love for horses, Boros has gathered $10,000 for a reward. "Some people might think we're crazy for putting up $10,000 for a horse, but to me, she's my baby and she's part of our family," Boros said. "[The suspect] picked the wrong horse to mess with." Boros is distributing fliers at saddle shops and feed stores, hoping to generatetips on the case. Boros thinks the attack happened about 1 p.m. Sunday because neighbors reported hearing whinnying about that time. The teen taking care of the horse saw Rosie at 11:30 a.m. and returned at 4:30 p.m. Rudnick also narrowed the time down by examining the level of swelling on the horse. Property owner Kerry Goldman, who lives next to the horse barn, said the suspect must have known that she would be out of town. Goldman already has sent a letter to all of her neighbors, advising them of the assault and asking for information. Anyone with information about the case should contact Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers, 800-458-8477. Callers can remain anonymous. The $10,000 reward is available for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

    Woman dies watching 'Passion'

  22. http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,13580,00.html Rosie: The Blushing Bride by Josh Grossberg Feb 26, 2004, 2:00 PM PT Rosie O'Donnell has gone bridal. O'Donnell and longtime companion Kelli Carpenter wed in a quick, private ceremony Thursday at San Francisco's City Hall, becoming the most famous of the 3,300-plus same-sex couples to get hitched there in recent weeks. The newly minted marrieds, hand in hand and clutching a bouquet and their license, briefly addressed the hundreds of fans on hand to cheer. "I'd like to thank the city of San Francisco for the amazing stance the mayor has taken, and all the people here who have assisted not just us, but the thousands and thousands of other law-abiding and loving American families who want the rights that every other married couple is entitled to," O'Donnell said to a rousing ovation. Earlier, in a statement issued by publicist Cindi Berger, O'Donnell said, "We, too, have a dream of equality for all families. The only way changes are made in society is when people like [san Francisco] Mayor Gavin Newsom have the courage to stand up against injustice." The couple's visit to the City by the Bay was a brief one. They were to go from City Hall to the airport for a flight back to their home in New York. With four kids, quipped O'Donnell, "there's no time for a honeymoon." It was a long day for the duo. They awoke in the predawn hours to give Rosie enough time to announce their matrimonial intentions on ABC's Good Morning America before hopping a plane from New York to San Francisco to make a 1 p.m. PT appointment for their marriage license. During her GMA appearance, O'Donnell explained that she and Carpenter had been wanting to get hitched for months and were ultimately spurred to action by President George W. Bush's call two days prior for a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages. "I think the actions of the President are, in my opinion, the most vile and hateful words ever spoken by a sitting president," O'Donnell said on the program. "I am stunned and horrified." The couple will join the parade of gay couples who have tied the knot in San Francisco since Feb. 12, when Newsom ordered city officials to begin issuing same-sex marriage licenses in defiance of a California law stating marriage is strictly between a man and a woman. Newsom says the law violates the equal protection clause in the state constitution. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has since ordered the state's attorney general to look into the legality of those unions and several California courts have taken up the matter, but so far none has issued an injunction blocking the nuptials. O'Donnell, who came out of the closet shortly before her daytime talk show folded in the spring of 2002, is no stranger to the culture wars, having lobbied to overturn a Florida law prohibiting same-sex couples from adopting. Now, she says, she's ready for a new fight. "I find this proposed amendment very, very, very, very shocking. And immoral. And you know, if civil disobedience is the way to go about change, then I think a lot of people will be going to San Francisco," she said on GMA. "And I hope they put more people on the steps to marry as many people as show up. And I hope everyone shows up." O'Donnell and Carpenter, a dancer turned marketing director for Nickelodeon, are going on six years and four kids together--three of whom they adopted and the most recent arriving last year when Carpenter gave birth via artificial insemination. O'Donnell, 40, and Carpenter, 35, had hoped to wed in New York last fall during O'Donnell's trial with former Rosie publisher Gruner + Jahr USA, but the state currently doesn't recognize such unions. "We applied for spousal privilege and were denied it by the state. As a result, everything that I said to Kelli, every letter that I wrote her, every email, every correspondence and conversation was entered into the record," said O'Donnell. "After the trial, I am now and will forever be a total proponent of gay marriage." After leaving the GMA studios, she and Carpenter immediately headed to the airport. In other Rosie news, the judge in the comic's contract dispute with Gruner + Jahr has ruled that while "both sides breached the agreement between the parties" regarding the demise of her eponymous magazine, "neither were entitled to damages or attorneys fees." O'Donnell's ex-publisher sued her for $100 million, claiming she reneged on her contract by quitting the magazine. Rosie fired back with her own $125 million legal salvo, accusing Gruner + Jahr of trying to wrest editorial control away from her. But Judge Ira Gammerman issued a preliminary verdict in November declaring no one a winner. Last week's ruling effectively sealed that decision. Gruner + Jahr has said it's considering an appeal.

    How far can Vince go?

I also figured that Vince and Linda had a special deal made. Vince can do all this diva stuff on TV as long Vince keeps Linda happy financially. In other words Vince is buying Linda a shitload of rings, gold watches, cars, etc. to keep her happy and not divorce him and take half of everything he owns.

    "Passion" Opens Big

http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,13581,00.html "Passion" Opens Big, Pass the Tums by Joal Ryan Feb 26, 2004, 12:30 PM PT One reported heart attack, several upset stomachs and more than $23 million at the box office. That's the tally from The Passion of the Christ's first day in theaters. The Mel Gibson-made religious epic performed the miracle that Hollywood is most enamored with: It opened big. Distributor Newmarket Films estimates the movie took in $23.6 million on Wednesday, with another $3 million picked up from special screenings for church groups on Monday and Tuesday. "The fervor seems to be so intense that people rushed out to see it as soon as possible," said Brandon Gray of the box-office Website, BoxOfficeMojo.com. Final numbers are due out Thursday afternoon. As it stands, The Passion is "the biggest Wednesday, non-holiday, non-summer" movie ever, as Gray meticulously broke it down. (While The Passion opened on Ash Wednesday, the religious observance doesn't really count as a holiday.) The all-time box-office record for a Wednesday opening belongs to The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, which rung up $34.1 million last December smack in the middle of the holiday season. The Passion's cumulative $26.6 million (and counting) take already puts Gibson back in black. The Oscar-winner put up $25 million of his own Lethal Weapon largesse to produce the film, which has been loved, loathed and called the "most violent film I have ever seen" by critic Roger Ebert. Gray estimated The Passion could put away another $40 million over the Friday-Sunday weekend, ending its first five days of release with more than $70 million. "From the small towns to Manhattan, it's a broad response," Newmarket executive Bob Berney said in Daily Variety. Where The Passion and its bone-crunching, flesh-flaying, stick-beating depiction of the final hours of Jesus' life are concerned, there also has been an upsetting response. In Wichita, Kansas, a female filmgoer collapsed during the Crucifixion sequence of an apparent heart attack, KAKE-TV reported. The woman, Peggy Law, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. "Whether Law's death and the timing in the film are related, we will never know," KAKE's Website noted ominously. In Ann Arbor, Michigan, Whitney Brenton told the Ann Arbor News she'd be skipping lunch after catching a Passion screening Wednesday. "I couldn't watch them put the nails in," Brenton said in the paper. "It was a little too much." In Hagerstown, Maryland, Darla Shingler told the Herald-Mail "it made [her] sick to [her] stomach when they beat [Jesus] with the whip." Michigan resident Greg Sprague told the Jackson Citizen Patriot he "just passed out" when the crown of thorns was forced onto Jesus' head. Cautionary tales or no, Gray doesn't think they'll keep other audience members away. Just the opposite. "It only helps it," Gray said. "It's tragic and sad, but it could help drive ticket sales that much further."
  25. over the sheer stupidity of his Wendy's employees. http://www.thebostonchannel.com/news/2873809/detail.html This is so funny. Management at some of these places is so bad. I mean how are you gonna believe a person on the phone telling you to do this. I would have been like, please come in and show us paperwork. End of that. I think fast food restaurants need to look into who they pay to manage there employees. Stuff like this shouldn't be tolarated. (sp)
