Triple H, Foley, Kane, and now Austin all in line for movie/TV deals... WWE seems to be going all out with their new WWE Films division. WWE Films is now working on a horror film starring Triple H, a cop TV series starring Mick Foley, a horror film starring Glen Jacobs as Kane, and now another movie that will star Steve Austin. No details are available on the Austin movie. If the WBF, XFL, Smackdown Records, and The World are any indication, taking such big risks on a WWE Film division may prove to be a mistake. I thought I'd post this to see if anyone else remembers this. Does anybody remember the time Ole Anderson worked as a ref for WCW in I think '91 or '92. Man talk about awful. This is how he went. When a wrestler would have someone for a pin. Ole would SLOWLY check one side to make sure the shoulder was down and then SLOWLY go to the other side to make sure it was down. And finally would SLOWLY start the count. Hell by the time Ole would start the count the wrestler had his man in the pin for a good 11 secs. Good thing Ole didn't last long as a ref.

Well it's about 3am and I just got back from ringing in the new year with friends at a dance club but, I wanted to wish everyone on the board a Happy New Year. And may this year be better then the last.

From the Observer: It was thought that the TNA/WGN TV deal was done, and that TNA would start airing a one hour Saturday morning show on WGN starting in mid-January. However, it now appears that the deal may not be final. The deal has yet to be announced on PPV and many in the promotion are again worried about the cost of putting on the show (WGN is charging them $60,000 just for the timeslot). TNA is considering cutting the show down to 30 minutes rather than an hour, so that they cut their costs in half but still get national TV exposure.
