YES YES YES, Doug Basham in ECW!
-
This is a Supershow. Cena picks Batista.
-
Is it actually Hardcover? You can get it on Shopzone for 7.29, 8.29 for a RAW/Smackdown! keychain bonus. I think at the 7.29 price, I'm sold on a copy if I plan on ordering from shopzone soon. It's too ridiculous a concept to pass up. http://shopzone.wwe.com/Product_detail.asp...ductId=77-00062

Yes, I got one last night. It's so much better than the original, although the buttons and position of everything takes some getting used to since I'm used to the DS Heavy.

The story with Imposter Kane and Kane.

Time Travelling Scientist Funaki went to the past and got 98 Kane, who is here to beat 06 Kane's ass to save his own future. -
I'll be there tonight. Don't look for me on TV though, I bought the cheapest tickest possible and am still not happy with how much I paid (21.50 before service charges). I'll probably be getting wasted and yelling UMAGAAAAAAAAAAAAA and COME ONNNNNNNN REF all night.

Nash/Shelly is definitly my favorite thing in wrestling right now and has made TNA my favorite weekly show, narrowly beating Smackdown!
-
Candido/Naturals segemnt in full. Glad I'm not the only one it got fucked up on. I saw Windows Blue screen of doom in Media Center as well and forgot to set Friday night to tape to make up for it.
-
EDIT: oops totally wrong thread, I blame headbuzz and Mozilla's tabs, will place in appropriate thread. That said, trying to fit in with thread, I think the Nash segments have been the best part of TNA the past few weeks, and don't think he's been burying the X-Division at all (YET).

Definitly the best thing in WWE(CW) right now. If Batista is getting Henry at the Great American Bash as teasers reveal, then Booker HAS to be the guy Rey faces unless it's Khali (but he should be facing Taker in a rematch. Knowing Taker's new tradition of killing people at the Bash, I wouldn't be suprised to see him kill Davari instead of Khali since they're so high on him). Even if Booker gets only a one month transitional reign from GAB to Summerslam (playing off WWE.com exclusive Booker/Batista brawl/heat), it's well deserved and continues the "King of the Ring winners go on to greatness" gimmick (ignoring Mabel and Billy Gunn, Shamrock to some extenet although he wound up being TNA's first champ). I'd personally extend Batista/Booker (as champ) to No Mercy, Book deserves it and it draws out Batista's chase for two months or so.

Kelly, a 19 year old stunning blonde bombshell made her ECW debut on the world premiere of ECW on Sci Fi as the inaugural "Tease of the Week". Not much is known about the voluptuous young exhibitionist, but, after her auspicious debut, ECW fans and wrestlers alike would certainly like to know more. Things are looking up for the ECW brand...
-
Interesting, I wonder how ECW fits in to future WWE video games.
-
Eddy held WWE/IC/US/EU/TAG.
-
It is, I only really get to appreciate it due to Tivo.
-
OK but what about fucking Greenfield. I'm a Smackdown! fan above all else and this effects Smackdown! the most.
-
That was hilarious... the one guy yawning visibly right into the camera and then putting his hands up to his face as if sleeping. GOLD. At what point was this? All I recall is one of the last shots of the announcers being one or two 8 year old Cena fans in Chain Gang apparel throwing up Cena hand gestures. I have it taped so I'd love to see this.
-
OK this is all great and dandy for ECW, but what the fuck about Smackdown!? It's been the most consistantly well booked brand for months, what is Alex Greenfield's notable work he brings to the brand? I fear this means Smackdown!'s depleted roster won't be used as well as it has been, meaning WWE's C-show booked as an A-show may become the C-show booked as the C-show. Although after last night's ECW show, Smackdown! is still the B-show, but I don't expect it to last.

Where do you put Zombie/Sandman on this list?
-
When there's a good MNF game on, people always talk about it affecting RAW's ratings. Sure it's just an out, but I'm just saying it's nothing new to compare things other than wrestling airing at the timeslot geared towards the same demographic with a wrestling show.
-
Well if WWE had offered him a ONS contract, it's pretty obvious he's not under any kind of TNA contract (or at least wasn't recently).
-
Fuck that, it was the worst part of the show. A completly WWE style match that had me keep wishing it was over every 5 minutes when they'd tease a finishing sequence.
-
Guess we know how WWE will treat it on RAW tommorow.
-
I'm still failing to see any man stronger from the segment, and have watched it a few times over to be sure. If the majority here sees no credibility lost, the marks won't give the whole brawl a second thought besides "ppv build"
-
I don't get this Tazz gimmick is dead etc. stuff at all either. If I didn't notice Lawler having a distinct advantage, most marks won't either and they won't talk about it on TV.
-
I did not notice Tazz "crying" at all. I know he was wiping his eyes when back from break, but I saw no tears. He clears his eyes a lot on Smackdown! Seemed like he was trying to focus. IDK though.
