First thought that came to my mind is, what will the new Diva Search theme be....
-
I imagine they play these Rey Mysterio "Road to the Gold" segements throughout Smackdown! to make up for his abscense. http://www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/re...rio/roadtogold/
-
Not that either, because Buffalo's game are ALL at 1 PM EST.
-
Ooooo Nitro/Kendrick should be good, as well as the cage match and hopefully Angle/Orton. Looks like another solid week of Smackdown!
-
He does indeed. Is Basham wearing eye make up on that RAW profile page? Yea. It's from his one Heat appearance as Damaja.

Saliva - "I Walk Alone" - Batista Mercy Drive - "Burn In My Light" - Randy Orton® Homebwoi - "Hard Hittin'" - Coach Brand New Sin - "Crank It Up" - Big Show® Desiree Jackson - "Holla" - Candice Eleventh Hour - "A Girl Like That" - Torrie Wilson® Kaballon - "Quien Soy Yo (Who I Am)" - Carlito Theory of a Deadman - "Deadly Game" Silkk the Shocker - "I'm Comin'" Shadows Fall - "Fury Of The Storm" - Rob Van Dam® Three 6 Mafia - "Some Bodies Gonna Get It" - Mark Henry Zebrahead - "With Legs Like That" - Maria Killswitch Engage - "This Fire Burns" P.O.D. - "Booyaka 619" - Rey Mysterio® Motorhead - "King of Kings" - Triple H® Deadly Games is a remake of the old Suvivor Series 98 theme that was on Anthology and most recently used for Taker/Angle highlight packages. I imagine the I'm Comin track will probably used for video packages or already has been.

Awesome news, hopefully they get even more TUF viewers on Thursday since that's when the first run episodes air. I think last week's got something impressive in the 2's.

The OAO RAW thread for April 10, 2006
claydude14 replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
RAW just makes me wish I was watching Smackdown! nowadays. If only that roster and booking were on Monday nights. -
Does doing the wave during a JBL match add anything to the show? Certainly added to it being there. I love going up to Toronto for WWE, it always beats the hell out of Rochester and Buffalo crowds.
-
Someone addressed this somewhere, quite possibly in this very thread. I don't remember the specifics, but something like Tatanka is backstage and meets RVD, and then Tatanka tells him that it's custom for his people to smoke a peace pipe the first time they meet or something, and they go off.

While watching Mania at our Student Union in college, I was suprised to see the urban crowd be the only won cheer when Cena won... everyone else let out a groan. It's odd because at a Smackdown! I went to years ago a lot of the AA around me were giving him shit and yelling wigger, and he was up against Billy Gunn of all people. I don't want to try and generalize the race or anything though, so I'll just chalk it up to them being different groups of fans... just was suprising that the ones at Mania actually liked Cena. I figured he'd get the "he's a wannabe wigger" reaction.
-
Three 6 Mafia is doing the Mark Henry theme on that upcoming album too...
-
I don't know if you've been watching the past few weeks of Impact (or if anyone has there hasn't been a thread) but they changed the format away from squash matches and Impact seems a lot better now. Thursday's show should be pretty nice with Daniels/Joe and Sting's TV return to the ring. As far as bringing anyone back, I'd like to see D'Lo but the roster is definitly pretty full as is.

KING FINLAY. I demand.
-
Triple H retaining at an ECW tribute show, would hopefully cause a riot. The fans oughta be trashed enough at that point.
-
Is Gunner Scott a front name for an actually talented indy guy? Looked impressive.
-
Triple H is the ideal heel for One Night stand. Cena gets booed by regular crowds so it would be nothing special for him to go there and get booed. Triple H's presence would produce some classic chants.
-
Didn't he win the title from Benoit in July. But, yeah, I agree with you. That time in 2004 was when I really enjoyed Randall. And his speaking skills have only improved since then. It might not be the worst thing to give him another IC/US title run. Put him up against some of the better workers. Fans would probably start to tolerate him again. Randall needs some repair from this Eddie situation before being put in a main spot again. He lost the IC title to Edge, in July and suddenly was the #1 contender for the world title and beat Benoit. Those two matches (Slam and Raw, the night after) remain his best stuff. I think he won a Battle Royal for the #1 contendership, IIRC.
-
I dunno about you but I always see tons of Carlito merch in the crowds, and he seems to get sizable face pops depending on the city.
-
The Orton/Batista feud should be one match, basically a Batista squash. If Triple H can't put Batista down there's no believable way of having Orton do so. It's probably a sure bet for Summerslam though.

Smackdown!: MNM Gymini London/Kendrick Mexicools Hardy/Shannon Moore FBI Maybe a reformed La Resistance, Sylvan/Dupree RAW: Spirit Squad Viscera/Val Venis Armando Alejandro Estrada/Umaga (Estrada is a wrestler too right?) The Bashams Snitzky/Goldust Put Cade/Murdoch back together Matt Striker/Johnny Parisi (Give them a team gimmick instead of random pairing of Heat's heels) That's 7 teams for each brand, that could definitly happen right now. Not that either division is really that strong at all, but it's doable.

Ratings from TNA's first head-to-head showdown with WWE
claydude14 replied to TNABaddboi's topic in TNA Wrestling
Any word on the Impact replay? -
IIRC Batista was in on the fun too.

I'd much rather see Trips in front of the ECW crowd. Cena gets shit on by regular fans, they can only go so much farther with him. Trips on the other hand would be priceless, as there's so much shit the net fans would be dying to chant at him.
