A lot of people around here peg it at that too. I'm not good with star ratings, but it was an awesome match from my ground. Check out the discussion on it in the No Way Out thread, it gets more in depth.

Taker/Angle was the shit. Smackdown! brings the workrate again. Awesome stuff.

I'll vouch for Strikers too, however as stated only if you have some people for multiplayer.

An idea for the end of Joe's undefeated streak...

The only time I've seen Cassidy Riley, he's been Raven's bitch boy backstage. I don't think he's ever wrestled on Impact, but I could be mistaken. -
Yea my bad. Good thing didn't ruin Benoit's first title reign, but it woulda been a sick match.
-
I hope he starts living the gimmick Warrior style.

What was the plan for Wrestlemania XX if Angle couldn't make it? I know they almost had him drop the title to Brock on Smackdown! a few weeks before, until Angle decided he'd wrestle and so they did a bait and switch with Eric Angle. I remember hearing rumors of Cena/Brock at the time, anyone have any idea?

Where's the Mr. America era?

I'm glad I can read RAW spoilers for once, as a Smackdown! fan who prefers not to sit through the Monday Night B Show.

The one for the Great American Bash was held in the front plaza of the HSBC arena. It's open to x number of the public, and some local press turns out.

Last night at the OVW tapings Matt Cappotelli surrendered the OVW Heavyweight title. Cappotelli, who is 26, handed back the title to back to Danny Davis, saying that he can't do the title justice because he can't defend it due to his condition. Cappotelli continued on with a very emotional speech, explaining that he does indeed have brain cancer. His doctors told him, on a scale of one-to-four, four being the worst, that his cancer was a two. He is looking at his options, but he will likely be undergoing surgery, and likely chemotherapy as well. He said that his future was unsure, and doctors told him it was too soon to determine whether he would wrestle again. The building was in tears as the wrestlers surrounded the ring, and Cappotelli had to stop several times to compose himself through prayer. When he finished all of the wrestlers got in the ring with him. The taping ended at 10pm and Cappotelli stayed for hours exchanging numbers and email addresses with almost the entire crowd. The speech will air on the OVW TV this weekend. Credit: Wrestlingobserver.com WWE.com is also saying they're gonna have the footage up later today.

Next week, only on wwe.com

I don't mean to exaggerate, but this was a religious experience. Cappotelli came out, turned over the belt to Danny Davis, talked honestly with the crowd about his condition, talked about chemotherapy and brain surgery, and then prayed with the audience. And everyone prayed with him. All the wrestlers, heels and babyfaces, surrounded the ring. When it was over, Jeter came in the ring - out of character - and hugged Cappotelli. After the show, Cappotelli stood at the front door and hugged every single member of the crowd. He was there until after Midnight, and the speech ended at 9:45. He prayed with people. He shook hands. He hugged. He took pictures. I have never in my life experienced anything like that. Did Paul E. do this stuff in ECW? No one who was here tonight left unchanged. I can't describe it. (Insidepulse.com) Sounds like a huge jerk, doesn't he?

I haven't read all 5 pages, so I don't know if it's been suggested; but I think Wrestlemania is saved as long as the world title matches are hot matches people want to see. HHH/Cena and Orton/Angle are not those matches obviously. Having Rey/Angle main event is something marks and smarks alike would like to see. On the RAW side, RVD/Cena is ideal. Since Cena has acknowledged mixed crowd reaction, they could sell the reason he is booed is because some of the crowd prefers RVD, sell it as 50/50 (although I doubt it'd be that). Also, the marks want to see RVD win the tournament as you can see in the voting on wwe.com, so it'd be an intersting undercard other main event from RAW. Throw HHH with JBL and Orton with Booker T or something. That's an acceptable Wrestlemania even if Henry/Taker and Michaels/HBK take place.

I am stoked for the Pillman DVD.

4 is pretty gay, Take No Prisoners? It reminds me of the old No Fear clothing line that was popular in like 6th grade.

Why the FUCK is the cruserweight title going to RAW? Where's the logic in Teddy Long inviting all former cruserweight champions to compete if someone from RAW could walk in and steal their title?

- WWE is in talks with a celebrity to appear on RAW tomorrow night. According to Dave Meltzer, the person is not a household name but if it happens, it "will be quite amusing because it'll be the public acknowledgement of something the company tries to publicly deny." Any ideas?

Some of my favorite Royal Rumble perdictions: The Royal Rumble Y2J's pick: Triple H I love to see Rey Mysterio win it. It’s time he broke out and started becoming the major, major star on SmackDown that he should be. But I think Triple H is going to win it. I think it’s been a long time since he was the champion, and I think he’s going to become the champion again. Winning the Royal Rumble Match is obviously the best way to set up to do it. Me thinks that the "I thinks" were added in by wwe.com. Take them away, and it reads "It's been a long time since he was champion, and he's going to be champion again." The Royal Rumble Kevin Nash's pick: Triple H Triple H. He's The Game, and he has the most experience. Who else is going to go to the main event at WrestleMania? Seriously though, it's obviously coming down to HHH/Rey, so I think the HHH press conference promo and all these predictions of HHH winning are just so that once Rey does win, he can get that praise from the internet for "doing the right thing." See: the Benoit reign. He wants to be liked by the internet for jobbing again, even though he'll still be the main focus no matter who has either belt or who wins the Rumble. Man I hate being an H hater sometimes, it's just annoying, that I think about all these conspiracy theories.

The WWE has spirit! Yes they do!

This many young guys in a stable would be better suited as a fraternity gimmick. Have them be cocky annoying assholes, funneling beer backstage before matches, using cheesy lines on the divas and paddling people. The group could start with three and then the other two could come in as pledges or something. I think this would get over much more, and they could naturally grow out of the gimmick of frat guy. Annoying male cheerleader might be a little harder to erase. -
I don't know if it was reported on the net or not, but Capatelli's tumor is behind his ear I believe. My manager at work is from his hometown (same age), and talked to Capatelli's Mother after I told him I read about the tumor on the internet.

Kid Kash/Jamie Noble v. Kendrick/London Now this could be good.

Thanks in advance

I read an article a few days ago that Smackdown! was going to be brough back for another season when this year's contract was up, maybe it just goes to this new network.
