I'm glad that of all the single brand AKA off month (well, now a days sometimes the same month as the big 4) PPVs, Armaggedon at least still has the bad ass theme song, "The End." It was on Anthology, is currently being played in the Orton/Taker HiaC PPV hype commercials; and it's at least something that makes the PPV stand apart, to me. I'm glad New Year's Revolution is getting the Elimination Chamber again, just so people expect it as a yearly tradition, but the month placement of the PPV (with Royal Rumble, traditionally the #2 PPV of the year) is not so good. The only other single brand PPVs I can think of with a tradition feel theme at this point are RAW's Bad Blood for the HiaC, and Smackdown!'s the Great American Bash for Underataler killing someone. I hope some of the other single brand PPVs can start to build their own traditions.

Vote for a new Batista shirt design on WWE.com
claydude14 replied to haws bah gawd's topic in The WWE Folder
2-4 are all generic t-shirt types we've seen before. #1 gets my vote because I'd like to actually see some different things done with the shirts more often. Like the Carlito's Cabana one with all the artwork, that was hot. -
WWE ripping off TNA???????

I'd love to see Kennedy as GM. I've heard his backstage stuff in OVW really fills out the character and that he's tremendous in it all.
-
I like the Chain Gang logo, but only because my initials are CG.

Don't ever get drunk and make threads about threads at other message boards.

I'd love any OVW uploads, let alone this match. Thanks in advance.

I figured since match one that they'd have Benoit playing the 2004 Red Sox.

He's pointing at Droz, obviously.

Dusty AND Goldust? HELL YES! Throw in Murdoch and we have the Rhodes Family Comedy Hour.

I'd go with the router... all I had to do was unplug all the cords from my wired router, plug them all back into the wireless router (which still has slots for wired connections) and install the router on my computer. Then on your DS you just search for a connection and your router should show up. Cheap routers have got to be around the same price as the dongle, and you could use it for wireless internet someday even if you have no need for it now.

Someone at the other forums I visit had success with this scan -
I guess I got a router free last year. I'm ready to go. I figure we can use this thread to post our friend codes/set up times to play. My code is: 231988 562476

I picked this up today with my DS. Now I just need a dongle or a router.

Nintendo DS $99 at Target sometime in December
claydude14 replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Video Games
I got a 96.99 DS at Circuit City for price matching. They said they couldn't do both deals (the free game and price matching Target) so whoever got the $77 DS was just lucky I guess. -
I swear I had seen it at FYE when I got the Bret DVD, but I don't know for sure. Coulda been last years.

There's still a new Smackdown! on Friday too right?

Nintendo DS $99 at Target sometime in December
claydude14 replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Video Games
Thanks for your e-mail about The Nintenedo [sic] Dual Screen in the 2005 Holiday Catalog. The ad is a misprint, as the price in the system should be $129.99. However, Target is honoring the ad price of $99.99 if you are able to bring in a copy of the catalog. If you have any trouble at the store, have them call us at (800) 440-0680 and we will be able to assist you then. Keep in mind the catalog price expires on December 12th, 2005. We always welcome your questions, so if we can assist you in the future, please contact our Target Guest Relations team at (800) 440-0680. You can also speak with a team member at the Guest Services Desk at your local Target store, or visit us on Target.com. Either way, we’re here to help! Thanks for shopping with us. I hope we’ll see you again soon at Target. -
Nintendo DS $99 at Target sometime in December

I got the catalog in the mail today. I'm gonna bring it to Circuit City and have them price match, because they're giving away a free game with the DS. Returning the game brings the DS down to $77. -

And the next piece of crap from WWEShopzone is...
claydude14 replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
I've been looking for that album for years... I borrowed my brother's CD copy once and somehow managed to scratch the fuck out of it with one fateful fall to the floor. Does anyone have the album on their computer? I'd be forever greatful for some mp3s of it, just to here Hacksaw Jim Duggan's song one more time. During a shitty high school musical I was in, we'd bump that album during intermission and lose our voices singing along to Hacksaw's track. -
That's actually not too bad.

The "Smackdown 6" is a term given to the Los Gurreros (Eddie and Chavo) Vs. Angle/Benoit Vs. Edge Rey 3-way tag feud that went on a few months in the fall of 02 or 03. The WWE tag team titles were debuting at that point and Smackdown! was booked for months around any combination of the above 6 wrestlers, whether in singles matches, tag matches or 3 ways and the 6 pretty much always delivered on the workrate, thus earning them the nickname the "Smackdown Six" IIRC.

As a White Sox fan, and a TNA fan, this is a can't miss angle! Except I'd watch the TNA special either way, and this will just take up time. Oh well, I'll be marking for it.
