How long does Matt Hardy have left in the WWE?
claydude14 replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Does the gimmick eventually lead to a wwe.com exclusive Matt Hardy reality show where he drives over pictures of Lita? -
Guess we get to see the whole Iron Man then, kinda with this wwe.com stuff.

I read the spoilers for the tapings and haven't followed TNA since the weekly PPVs, and tonight I was VERY impressed with what I saw. I'll definly be watching every week, but it's a little easier to catch with Tivo. I'll definitly being showing the first episode to my markish friends to try and get them hooked, and hopefully get a pool of $ together for Bound for Glory. Nash probably can't work, but I marked hard for his entrance and jacknife powerbomb on Jarret.

Heat/Velocity status addressed by WWE.com
claydude14 replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
I bought the real copy of WMRecorder once to keep webcasts once they were gone, but all it did was save a copy of the file onto my computer that was still password/liscense protected meaning once my week was up on the webcast time I just had a file I couldn't get into without buying the webcast again. Maybe since these are free streams I can do something more since I own the program, like burn them or something. I'll look into it. -
Does it have the episode with Magoop 83 Bubblegum? Oh Magoop 83, It's the bubblegum for me With bubbles big and bold And it won't make you ollllllllllllld.

Methinks I will watch Friday Night Smackdown! "Live" and Proud... and drunk off my ass. edit: could someone send me a PM with what Smackdown's presence at Homecoming will be? That's the only spoiler I wouldn't mind knowing before Smackdown!

Yea Show was on Tuesday night. He brought his Shopzone stuffed bear with him, and kept talking about a Martha Stewart fetish (she was on before him).

Heat/Velocity status addressed by WWE.com

As long as I can record Heat and Velocity to my computer, this will be fine. -
Cool, FYE usually has the newest WWE DVDs on sale for the first few weeks. On sale there may be a tad higher than say Best Buy or Wal Mart, but if there's a bonus disk I might pick it up there. Sometimes it's just easier to stop by FYE in the mall when I'm out for other shopping needs.

I have Carlito's first shirt, and am an unoriginal bastard so it's very possible I could go as him for halloween. But, I'd go to Party City and get the same wig cheaper.

I agree with Starrcade 97. It was the first WCW ppv I ever bought, with my Birthday and Christmas money as a probably 12 year old kid, and it was a huge dissapointment. I was a Nash mark since I started watching WWF in 95, and so when Giant/Nash did not happen I was pretty pissed off. Then Sting/Hogan was the mess of over a years' build and I was just turned off from taking WCW seriously ever again. I think the only other WCW ppvs I bought were Bash at the Beach with Malone/DDP Vs. Hogan/Rodman, and Great American Bash 99 or whatever the one was with Sting/Vampiro rip off Inferno Match with the stunt man dive off the set/the big suprise promised that ended up being Goldberg turning heel for no reason. This year, the Great American Bash which I saw live, and now Unforgiven. Thanks for the exact same DQ finish in the main event

Heyman knew how to book him OVW.

Looking at the card on paper before I ordered, I knew there was really no reason why I should order this pay per view. But alas, I did. I knew it would be RAW's Great American Bash; and it was. Faces winning all over the undercard and a DQ finish in the main event. The same DQ finish scenerio from the Bash where a heel bring a wepon into the ring, the face uses it on the heel, but the ref sees the face use it. Ugh. Oh well, kept me occupied for three hours I guess. The RAW moving to USA commercial at the beginning where they were all packing shit in their rooms and stuff was one of the better parts of the show, along with the Flair skits. Flair skits were definitly the highlight of the show. -

Anyone else have the sound cut out on them from Webcast? edit: now its super slowed down announcing. Sounds hillarious. -
It's a fucking remote. I've always been a Nintendo fanboy and right now, I don't know what to say. It looks way to gimmicky to me, but I'll reserve true judgement to seeing and playing with the controller in person. I'm glad I came here for some common sense responses to this design, because the Nintendo forums I post at (which I thought for the most part were good about not being blind fanboys) are eating this shit up.

Make Smackdown! and internet brand? Ugh. Hopefully TNA picks up some ratings so that some other channel won't be afraid of picking up wrestling when UPN ditches Smackdown! .
-
Rey/JBL feud? I like it.

They'd have to sell Mr. America II as the original Mr. America. Have Vince come back and say "You're lying! You're not Mr. America, Mr. America was Hulk Hogan! I know who you are, you're Muhammad Hassan!" then set up a lie detector test segement where Mr. America tells the truth when he says he is the same Mr. America and not Hogan or Hassan. It's just what Smackdown's been missing since Mr. America left.
-
They were usually the highest rated segements of Smackdown! actually. My favorite was Basham Brother Capture the Flag.
-
As a fan of the Mr. America gimmick, I think it'd be a great way to re-introduce Hassan.

I told the lineup for the Night of Champions and how it'd be going up against UFC and my mark friends of Attitude days gone by actually favored the Night of Champions

Mark Jindrak and Matt Morgan -- both recently laid off from WWE's SD roster -- were seen outside the Atlanta SmackDown tapings, being filmed while they waited in line and bought tickets. When asked what they were doing there, they said fans would have to wait and see. Mark and Matt have both recently opened a Web site, MarkandMattLive.com which will host an online reality show, similar to TheMattHardyShow.com. Credit: PWTorch.com, PWInsider.com Hope this wasn't posted yet, I didn't see it. This is interesting.

Lame. I'll tivo RAW and watch UFC live this night.
-
I've been a pretty big Jindrak fan since DLing his match with Doug Basham on Velocity; and Morgan I thought was always looked at as the next hoss main eventer that could work, but I can't say I've seen enough of either man to be sure. And if they were released but Tomko and Sylvian weren't, then I guess I don't know.

Vader Batista would be a decent Smackdown! main event.
