Maybe not appearing on camera was punishment for the debacle of a main event at the Bash. Their dark match once cameras were off was a lot faster and shorter than the Bash match is how it should've been booked on Sunday, not in the Tuesday dark match.

I started watching weekly in 95 (watched here and there before that as a kid), but I feel that any attitude era fans that have stuck with it from the InVasion on have become true fans in my book.

Can Brock save Smackdown!?
-
The Highlanders were actually in a dark match against Captalli and Miz; MNM face two jobbers (one was Scotty Sabre I think).
-
Batista-JBL II HAS to be overbooked and a gimmick match. It's what JBL can pass in and obviously Batista needs it too. The I Quit even made Cena look good (it was all spots and hardcore nonsense but was a fun match for sure) so I'm sure Batista would be better in a gimmick match enviorment where his weaknesses were hidden. BTW, after JBL-Taker and Smackdown! ended; JBL layed on the mat and talked on the mic sounding drunk, but I guess just tired from the Taker match. Anyhow he had the line of the night; as Teddy Long came out and told Rochester he promised us a World title match, and that JBL would fight Batista. JBL responded: "I have a note from Marcus Bagwell's Mother that I am injured (or coulda been that "I don't have to wrestle"). I love this man.

The Regal-Hotty match was such a clear sign of Mexicool antics. Especially because Regal got announced before back from commercials, because his entrance was interupted by Summerslam promo; and then his music faded back in I assume as Smackdown! did. Then Scotty came out to a ridiculous pop.

I was there, and yea. But not just a mole. It's pretty much a tumor growth around one of her ears. Pretty gross. There's a backstage segment where Melina introduce the boys to her and of course camera side we see her good side the whole time. Then she turns away and the tumor thingy is on camera, insert crowd reaction of what they thought was a good looking women (still is though no doubt). I don't know how the crowd responded to her when she came to the ring because I was at the concessions at this point.

Smackdown! should be interesting tonight. God I hope it's not all GAB rematches because I already had to sit through that in the crowd live. At least Velocity should be solid.
-
I was there live, and no matter how much I bitched about the DQ ending being bullshit and the whole card being booked the opposite sensical way in every way, everyone there loved it. Man I hate Buffalo crowds.

I feel bad for Earl. Hope he has some money to fall back on.

I was hoping for CHUDs

At a Nitro I attended in Rochester pretty soon after the whole relaunch gimmick; me and my brother got floor seats because they were only like $30 (while everyone else who came with us got free tickets). Anyhow he brought a bunch of generic signs so he could get on TV. It worked; as Bischoff I think was coming out for a promo or something he held up a "New Blood" sign. I was next to him and as the camera began to pan out from him; my sign was revealed as Nothing Intersting, Turn RAW On. The camera quickly cut away once my sign was revealed. I still have the tape somewhere, I'll have to get a screencap. My friend watching at home that night was just waiting for the sign to appear; and turned to RAW after it did.

I don't think it's that suprising; but what does TNA have to gain? I'd want clearence for him to appear on a few Impact tapings too so they might be able to get something out of it. If Hardy was appearing in TNA, WWE and ROH for at least a month continuously; it'd really get over the angle and himself.

One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread
claydude14 replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in The WWE Folder
For the record; JBL and Orlando's commentary is hillarious and really points out to you how bad some of the ppv really was wrestling wise; despite being fucking awesome for what it was (a one night return of a niche wrestling promotion). WWE has clearly changed since ONS though; so that is good. -
For some reason I was going to set my guide to record Hogan Knows Best tonight at 10, but low and behold it's on VH1 RIGHT NOW at 11 AM EST. Weird that they'd have it on in the morning before it's debut at the real timeslot, but I'm not complaining. Impressions soon.
-
I'd argue Wrestlemania 2000. HHH retaining was a huge suprise.
-
Psychosis is hillarious as is. At ONS he wore the mask with wig to ring; to take it off and reveal short hair. Then he debuted on Velocity WEARING the mask and wig. Then he debuted in the Mexicools with extensions. Now he's back to the short hair; but green. He's my favorite Mexicool although Juice is not far behind; as far as mic work goes. Psychosis just always sounds ridiculous. Always grabbin the mic. The first time they showed up and he kept ringing the bell; it was just too much. Great stuff. Super Crazy's my favorite worker; but I think he prooved this past week that he should be kept away from the mic; which will unfourtantley make him the 3rd guy between leader the Juice and crazy dude Psychosis.
-
It's the Mexican Limo 2005. I guess the start of the bWo/Mexicool feud will have the bWo impersonating them. I'd have Stevie as the Juice, Nova Psychosis and Meanie as Super Crazy (based on both using moonsaults). Mexicools gotta win the feud.
-
I can't wait for the bWo/Mexicools 6 man tag feud.
-
It'll be a series of specials IIRC.
-
NBC owns UPN anyways right?
-
Yea it was kinda bland. I wouldn't see myself watching if it wasn't Hogan.
-
Hmm, so he was a paying student? I bet he gets a developmental deal for a year or two so he doesn't sue.
-
Hmmm yes, like I'd believe something Mark freakin' Madden said. Dude was just a shock jock wannabe announcer.
-
Hahaha, that's going to be my background Deon.
