Without a doubt, Reckless
-
There we go
-
Hard to argue with those, at least this year is off to a considerably better start then last
-
Why does Shawn's character want the title anyway? He came back from his back injury and won the World title proving he could still go yadda yadda. What would doing it again prove? It'd be a far cry from his WMXII win and the WWE should certainly be playing the emotional victory card for the end of the show...
-
He dosen't look comfortable mic, so they should really do some pre taped vingettes to get his story/character over. A desire video would be nice. And if they're really serious about pushing the guy, a decently designed t-shirt wouldn't hurt.
-
...and the preteen whores of North America re-joice.
-
Well, I agree with all of his unresolved issues on Smackdown, but now that he's on another brand they shouldnt be an issue. Illogical I know, but we're suppose to be conditioned to see Benoit as a RAW superstar now who *could* have beaten Eddie, Angle and Brock (although he has traded wins with all of them, save for Brock) but now its a non-issue. The best way to look at the Shawn scenario is to hope he gets the win over HHH, and even though it's merely a defacto win over Shawn, there's the notion of 'unfinished business' for the next PPV, much like Owen showing up post WMX celebration. In that sense it adds more intruige to the possible Benoit/Shawn much, rather then HBK wanting revenge for beating him twice or '1 and a half' times if you will.
-
You know, I still don't think he will. Yes, i know the HHH as a heel has left Mania the champion before, but it's obvious they're going for the whole 'celebration' schtick so they should end the PPV on a high note. *clenches Benoit action figure* Benoit will win...Benoit will win....Benoit will win....Benoit will win
-
Going back to your "but he didn't beat Shawn" argument because he would have even if he does pin Hunter, he gets a defacto win over Shawn. I dont think he and Eddie got their jobs back to the Dudleys on a PPV a couple of years ago, but you wouldnt say "but he never pinned Bubba Ray!" Oh, and this news makes me ill and want to sell my tickets. And how the hell would Edge just jump into the ME picture after being gone a year? Shawn *costing* Benoit the title at Mania? He's involved in the main event so how would that turn him heel?
-
Yes, because the show is 5 hours. Although I don't understand why they wouldn't have the listing on the ticket as 6pm when Heat starts
-
Technicallly, they should all be dead. What with the fatalities and all

Man, i'd love to see Easy E stiff the hell out of Vince....if only this were happening in WCW...

Was there any reason why Steamboat was given the ridiculous dragon gimmick whilst being stuck in the mid card? And what was the reason for his departure? I remember my dad telling me that he left because he refused to job to Skinner. I seem to recall Skinner cutting a promo on one of Steamboats matches on Superstars.
-
Hehe, you crazy brits. I mean that in the good way

The new site looks quite spiffy and all of the WrestleMania history pages are finally complete. I'm liking the new interface they have for the matches which seems to work by clicking 'next' for each match up. Could have done with some better wallpaper though... Also, is there any word on the official theme song for the show yet?
-
So i was suppose to see tonights show.....but apparently they overbooked and stuck us in the room upstairs watching the show on a live feed....
-
I preferred the version that came before that (WrestleMania 6-9). There was another version? Hmmm
-
I'm thinking this is show is going to get Armaggedon like buy rate numbers. Not that the card is bad, but there dosen't seem to be much hype surrounding it
-
If only this were happening 10 years ago...
-
They're teasing the 'cahoots' bit to get the fans second guessing, but it ultimately wouldn't work in terms of the match so i'd say that Shawn would be playing the tweener role

Vince McMahon Pushing Again For Bret Hart's Return
cbacon replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Bret being the guest ref would make it the single most anticipated match in history...well for me at least. I'd settle for any sort of appearnce at Mania though -
He had a decent series of matches with Eddy. The fact that he is on RAW has led to many style clashes and thus his in ring repitoire is limited. He's better off the faster high flyers much like in ECW
-
They should have moved him to SD! a year ago. Maybe they could take Rey out of the cruiser battle royal and give him a program with RVD
-
Hmm, i never knew Goldberg used stock music
