I think RRR and I should get Raw or Smackdown duty together after the next person submits to the pain. Yes . I woudn't care about watching 'rasslin anymore. Just write what the hell whatever you want. You guys have a niche for this sort of stuff. MAKE IT HAPPEN~!!!

RRR needs his own column now~!!!

I plan on buying one of these. Which is better? Keeping in mind i've only seen the tag match with the Pitbulls and i'd be more inclinded to purchase the tape with more/better promo's

A while back I posted an outline for a wrestling essay from a semiotic perspective. Since then, i've tinkered with the thesis a bit, and i'm now focusing on the effects the internet has had on the business and it's evolution. For topics so far I have: Marks vs. Smarks Breaking of Kayfabe/Russo Era/Need to adjust to smarter fans - Late 90’s, wrestling begins to cater to the IWC in certain storylines, angles (shoots) - Much of it goes over the fans head - The days of the 80’s/early 90’s are passé, need to adjust to smarter fans (Attitude era) - ECW – ‘it’s not for everyone’ Wrestling with Shadows --> Montreal Screwjob - One of various documentaries to go behind the scenes - Highlights the infamous “Montreal screwjob” where Vince McMahon alters the outcome of a match unbeknownst to champion Bret Hart , the biggest non-scripted double cross in wrestling history. By the end I was hoping to tie this into the current deterioration of the business as a whole. What else could I include ?

Putting Batista in the main event of SurSer with no build would not have been good. Goldberg/Trips rematch has a more heat, and they should go with Goldberg/Kane for Armageddon, with Kane nearly killing Goldy on every RAW leading up till the show

Austin/McMahon was revolutionary for the business, as was Rock/Austin to a lesser degree, but from a personal standpoint I enjoyed Austin/Bret. They dragged Austin/McMahon much longer than they should have, and there was never really a huge blowoff. Austin/Bret is my all time favourite fued, namely due to the Canada/US angle and the mark inside me truly hated Austin at the time - back in the day when RAW was must watch TV.

Yup, Hart Foundation

Hulk Still Rules. Haven't picked up Bloodbath yet though...I live in Canada

Ahmed never headlined a WM. And Hogan/Warrior is one of my all time favourite matches, mostly sentimental value as its my earliest wrestling memory. That said, i voted Sid

Can't possibly narrow it down to 5. But these will always be the top 2: 1. Bryan Adams - Summer of 69 2. New Radicals - You Get What You Give

How about the Backlund screwjob instead of the Montreal screwjob? Wait....does that have anything to do with the paper? I wasn't going to focus indepth on the screwjob persay, but rather discuss the implications the documentary had in terms of the line between kayfabe and shoots. Thanks for the feedback Rudo, i'm checking out the link now. The globalization aspect is definetly something I could use. Much appreciated

Why, why, why would u want that [Russo Mode]American turncoats = major heat right? Swerves = ratings, no? [/Russo Mode] Seriously though, they should have pulled the trigger on the Kidman turn long ago to freshen up the heel side of the CW division. Ok, maybe they shouldn't stick him with Yakuza, but a heel turn nonetheless is needed.
