These shows make me sad if I watch them for a while. It baffles and offends me as a human being that there are other non-handicapped members of my species behaving like this. Way too many of my friends watch it too. The ex thought Bret Michaels was "OHMIGAWD the SEXIEST man."

The Bush years holdover that bugs me most is "The Democrat Party," like it isn't even worth describing as a set of ideals but rather some filthy object. We still say "Republican Party" instead of Republic. Ooh, now there's a scary little bit of newspeak. The Republic Party.

My job on Facebook is to make snarky comments on everyone's statuses. I've been on it like nuts the last week, but that's just because I friended a buuuuunch of people from grade school days when I got bored one afternoon. There was definite fist pumpage when I passed 100 friends, because I'll never be one of those 500+ friend people. I don't know how their front page isn't just a perpetual scrolling of stuff people are doing.

Do you not think they could take down some silly prison to break them out if they wanted (which would be more likely than the prisoners themselves escaping on their own)? John Murtha says he'd take them in his district but he only has a minimum security prison in his district so he's talking out his ass because they'll never send them to a minimum security prison. Keeping them at Alcatraz was Pelosi's idea, actually. You also realize that their resources and networks in terrorist countries (like, not the United States) made the planning process a lot easier, right? Just because "they" (because it isn't really the people we're talking about since the ones who did it died in the process) can put together a murderous plot doesn't mean they can act on it. They aren't all MacGyver or something, how the fuck would they ever escape? A sympathetic guard? Someone leaves a door open? "Terrorists took down the World Trade Center" makes it sound like they're all Superman. They're subhuman cowards who have been deprived of their tools for destruction. There is no harm at all in closing this alternate universe prison and putting them on the mainland for their trials, trials which will hopefully be executed properly and legally so as to avoid any grey areas or excessive Arab resentment on top of the steaming pile that Gitmo's already created for our reputation.

I think it's funny that Republican legislators act like those who are being held are all Lex Luthor and will somehow find a way out of whatever facility they're kept in. Are you guys REALLY that worried? Also consider that if there were an escapee (haven't had one yet), every redneck asshole with so much as a slingshot would be roaming the streets in hope of killing one o' them damn towelheads.

Ann Coulter appearances on non-Fox outlets are difficult to watch. I want to see her just go off on the most batshit tangents possible but it never gets out if you're surrounded by people who've relied on more than what their older relatives told them about how the world works. I looked at the inauguration thread and wondered how on earth it was already at 20 pages. The only way I could figure was Chris Benoit rose from the dead and claimed the presidency for himself after german suplexing all two million people present for the ceremonies.

Pittsburgh: 30 Arizona: 13 MVP: Heinz Ward will break Adrian Wilson's jaw and have a 125+ yard game with a touchdown or two. Big Ben does too little to stand out otherwise he'd win it. Passing Leader: Kurt Warner WILL have a 300yd+ game. Just ignore the "3 INT" part of the stat line, one of which will be a pick-six. Receiving Leader: Larry Fitzgerald will try to carry the team again, but fail despite more than 10 catches and 150 yards. Rushing Leader: Willie Parker, but this will be a game won in the air. He'll get it into the endzone a couple of times but fail to crack 100 yards. I really want to see the underdog win, but I get a 1998 Falcons vibe from this team despite losing five more times than that one-and-done. This is a team that's carried by a receiver/quarterback combo rather than a dirty-birdin' running back, however they're still doomed to a loss. I hope I'm wrong. The way I see it there are three possible outcomes, a Pittsburgh blowout or close win and an Arizona close win. There is NO WAY the Cardinals hang more than twenty points on Pittsburgh unless Anquan Boldin hits Troy Polamalu with a steel chair at halftime.
