The OAO Raw Hot Sell for WM 23 (March 26th)
Art Sandusky replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
Oh man, I hope this is true, but I won't expect it. With 70,000 people present (ie, a much bigger than normal Mania crowd), I would think it would be tougher to have a crowd turn against a storyline (ie, cheer for the heel), only because the percentage of # of people attending likely goes up in the categories of children + women, who usually cheer the babyface/heels and are less likely to "try and make a statement". Chicago (last year) and NYC (WM XX) were easier venues to have something like this happen b/c of the rabid/vocal fanbase in these cities and that they are smaller venues than Detroit's, in my opinion. The Skydome destroyed what should have been an epic NWO run and gave us "tonight, we're gonna see Stone Cold and Bradshaw take on the NWO!" for what felt just short of a full eon. Then again, we also got Kevin Nash's "I'm going, bye." -
IT'S A FUCKING F60!!! GOD DAMN YOU EDDIE GRIFFIN I really did go "oh, no." and clutched my chest for the record. EDIT: curry is wrong about everything

I give up..on trying to make you all understand.. Hecklers, Marvin. I can see you're seeking companionship. Perfectly understandable since you've never really had attention from girls, and probably don't have a whole hell of a lot of friends either. Just keep being genuine. Realize that physicality is necessary in a relationship, though. Neglect that and she'll get frustrated. When I say it, I mean eventually. Baby steps.

Captain of Outer Space comes through with more goodness. Bottom was way better than that other show they did with Nigel Planer.

I think the showing of the Aqua Teen movie on Sunday night is an April Fool's gag. -
It's crippling to see someone as bad as I used to be, yet older. It really is.
-
Nice. I really do enjoy how the NFL does as much as it can to optimize ratings. Had this been a regular Sunday game, I doubt I would have gotten to see it.

Hey, they're happy.

I am THERE. I wanted to go back up to New York in the early Summer anyway.

The McGuirk story about DiBiase rules. I also like reading about what goes on during commercial breaks. It's amazing (but obvious, quality wise) that Lawler can do color with little to no warning of what's going to happen.

In the late 80s/early 90s, my cousin loved Ric Flair and other heels. This made him a reprehensible person in my young eyes. He even had the nerve to think the Big Gold Belt looked better than the WWF title! He's still wrong about that at least. I started tiring of Hogan around Wrestlemania VII, especially when his merchandise started looking awful. Fortunately that's when Bret's singles push began. Hogan was nothing compared to Bret Hart for me. I'm coming around on him again in a similar manner to Kahran in that post above, but Bret's still my guy. I liked the various Vanilla Midgets before having the internet for the same reasons. Everything they all did was so crisp and looked so real. Mr. Perfect getting back into things in 1993 was also a big markout for me for some reason.

Come on Marv, your bedroom persona could be named "Smooth Operator."

USC blew it worse than Tennessee did last night. That's saying something.
