Disgusting, but also bloody hilarious. It's a shame I'll never be able to use one. Misogynist? Yeah, sure, but honestly, who gives a damn?
-
Yeah, because your boy already pulled the same shit with "I've heard a theory that President Bush knew about 9/11 before it happened and did nothing," and then "I was just repeating what someone else said, I don't know if it's true." Dean is like a stouter version of Pee Wee Herman at this point. No one takes him seriously, not even himself.

I actually have a pack of those sitting in my car, mostly untouched. I was given them for free, tried one, and sweet jesus but did it ever suck, hard. The slimness makes the whole stick too damn hot, and the taste is awful. Holy shit, you're the only other person I've ever met who's actually smoked B&Hs, or even heard of them. Kinda light, but not too bad. And I used to be a Marlboro Man myself until here recently, when I discovered Camel's awe-inspiring Turkish Jades. Never had any of those, what're they like? Awww. You're missing out. Ditto AoO, where can I find these things? They're way too close to Denis Leary's "Tumors" idea for me to resist. Moved from this thread.

Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists endorse Bush
Firestarter replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
Gee, Anglesault, I hear those guys that some people call "terrorists" but other people call "freedom fighters" and yet other people call other things entirely might or might not have been responsible for blowing up (oh dear, that's such a judgemental term, isn't it? I didn't mean it that way!) a building that could be called a hotel in some places (although it probably wouldn't in others, because cultures are so different and who are we to judge what is or isn't a hotel?) in Baghdad (or Bagdad, I don't want to offend anyone by using an h, or Madinatu as-Salaam, for anyone still living in the 8th century - which isn't wrong by any means!) and could possibly thus be held responsible by those who actually assign responsibility to people for their actions (though that surely doesn't include me, well, not most of the time anyway) for the deaths - that's such a harsh word, isn't it? Let's call it the unexpected cessation of life functions for a variety of possible reasons - of 29 people. (You know, 29 is such a culturally imperialist number - they're Arabic numerals! I don't know if we have the right to use them, really. I apologise to anyone who was offended. Please don't kill me! Please! I'm sorry I'm white! I'm so sorry!) -
Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists endorse Bush
Firestarter replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
Will you shut up? I don't even care much about the original topic. I have no interest in what terrorists say or what they applaud. I just want them dead. But I am sick to death of your namby-pamby mincing nancy-boy "sigh" crap bemoaning everyone's "partisan" arguments, like you're so fucking above it all because you've never held an opinion in your spineless life. Put a goddamn sock in it, you miserable snivelling pantywaist. -
He just likes to start off every thread with a whiny "can't we all just get along" spiel. It's irritating.

Let's get something straight. The point isn't that a lot of Spaniards are cowardly because they voted in a liberal government as opposed to a conservative. They are cowardly because they voted in a PRO-APPEASEMENT government as opposed to a government willing to fight to defend them from terrorism - after the terrorists had struck, and, in the opinion of more than one person, precisely because the terrorists had struck. THAT is what makes the election results so contemptible - not that they voted for or against conservatism per se. It's sad that ANY party sees appeasement as a viable option. If any conservative party were to take that position in any country, you'd better believe that conservative voters (and commentators) in this country would roundly condemn and excoriate it, no matter what its other positions on the ideological spectrum. In England, PM Blair's party is the liberal party. Nevertheless they are staunchly on our side. I'll bet anything that the Tory party would be (if anything) even more firmly on our side if they won.

So all of a sudden Drudge is reliable? No, seriously, I've already read this in a couple of other places, so it's probably true Healy said it - as far as that goes. Now, as for whether what Healy said is believable, that's another question. Say "foreign" to yourself in Kerry's rounded accents. Now say "more." It isn't even the same sound. "More" comes out of his mouth more like "mawh," and "foreign" is "FOHr(n)." Let Healy release the tape he claims he transcribed incorrectly; let the CIA and the FBI examine it. Let's have a congressional inquiry into the possible falsification of the transcript. Then, and only then, will I be willing to possibly concede that more evidence is needed before we can determine that Healy might not have lied. Oh, and I want his dental records too.

Bush claims that Kerry wanted to gut intelligence.
Firestarter replied to Dr. Tyler; Captain America's topic in Current Events
A "true blue" conservative? Wha? Last time I checked, even Marney likes him. I love his movies. (Most of them. Raw Deal, End of Days, and Collateral Damage were bloody awful.) His accent and his expressions are great, too. I find him charming, but I don't know much about his policies, although I have noticed that he's turned out to be an extremely cunning and effective political animal. As for his conservatism or lack thereof, I honestly don't have much of an idea. -
Insofar as the Reformation and the Enlightenment destroyed (and remade) Christianity, yes.

Powerplay's right. Every single article I've seen today on the preliminary polls, the election itself, and all exit polls taken flatly contradicts your claim.

Another example of blatant media bias here, this time concerning the "controversy" over the 9/11 ads.

Interesting poll results on the CNN website. Obviously, as we've all agreed numerous times, online polling is fairly inaccurate and meaningless, but with a 71/29 split it's probably a halfway decent indicator of American opinion. In fact, since CNN is far more liberal (and thus more likely to be visited by Democrats) than say FNC, the extremely wide skew shown probably understates the case. Despite the media's ludicrously obvious bias (example here), it seems clear that the American people well remember what we're fighting against. And what we're fighting for.

As soon as the attacks occurred on 9/11, the FAA grounded all civilian aircraft. The UK quickly followed suit, discovering in the process that Big Ben was a designated target later in the day. The terrorists were arrested and no attack on your soil occurred. In other words, 3000 of my countrymen bought your safety with their blood and horror, and the suffering of their friends and families - - you're quite welcome.

Marney deserves to be banned. After this farce I almost have to agree. I humbly apologise for ever thinking Popick had a sense of humour. - Marney, sending greetings from sunny Miami Beach. Eat your hearts out. -
... I walked into that one.
