I agree with Jobber. If this sort of thing is going on with institutional sanction (which I doubt more because I don't want to believe it than because I have anything concrete to go on) it is indeed propaganda, and shameful propaganda at that. You don't put words into service members' mouths. You don't fake letters to their homes. That's bullshit. We don't need to do that and we absolutely shouldn't do that under any circumstances whatsoever.

I see you're still reading it, though. Just curious, do you ever practice what you so shrilly preach?

You're insufferable.

RABBIT SEASON

You're wrong. Dead wrong. In fact, you're an idiot.

That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen on these boards, although Ms Solanas might take it a little hard. chave, I applaud you!

No, it was just that we were talking about different things. JHawk introduced more details and (albeit secondhand) testimony, so we were better able to proceed along more interesting and factual lines.

Fair enough. You're welcome. Next time, don't. It jes' comes natural to me, darlin'. Not at all, actually. The entire thread focused on you. I posted only one thing related to me, and that was as an analogy to your experience. I understand why you're getting so defensive, but there's really no need. I don't have much of a problem with you; it became more of an intellectual exercise after JHawk started posting. I continued arguing with him because it was fun to examine the hypotheticals. I'm satisfied with the additional details you've provided, your unqualified mea culpa, and your ungrudging and agreeable willingness to take my advice to heart. As for your melodramatic whining, in the long run, John's the one who has to deal with it, not me. What matters is that you've learned from your experience and you'll be better prepared in the future.

That too.

I've said exactly what Schwarzenegger said about Hitler in the context of rhetorical analyses. I don't think it's a revelation or even in any way controversial to say that Hitler was a great rhetorician. It's an accepted fact. It's rarely even necessary to say it. Equally unnecessary to say is that no decent person admires Hitler per se. He was evil. That is just as uncontroversial, Schwarzenegger said that as well. So how is his upbringing relevant at all? How is his home country relevant? He isn't a Nazi. He's a great supporter of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. He even asked the Center to research his own father's past, for crying out loud. Again, what gives you the impression that he has any opinion of Hitler outside the mainstream? Maybe he wasn't potty-trained exactly the same way we were either. Does that matter if he doesn't shit his pants today? Jesus.

BatGIRL. And be quiet. You know you love getting hit with the strap-on from behind.

Here's how: both are stressful experiences. Neither negate your responsibility to act like a rational adult. How do you know he didn't?

No. Nor the pictures.

Sike... get one of your other professors to teach an English class.
-
Pissed, you asshole. How do you think? This was supposed to be OUR secret.
-
... Shit!
-
How the hell do you fail English 101?

This is a deeply unfunny gimmick.

Oh, nothing. Nothing at all. If we're really a threat to their "very survival," I'm delighted.

The test is flawed. They left out Question #41: "Do you think that this test will accurately measure your IQ or tell you anything meaningful about yourself? (YES/NO)" If you answer YES, the test should calculate your semi-final IQ based on your answers to the previous questions, and then automatically deduct 100 points to determine your final IQ.

And I say you're wrong, because I have. And I say you shouldn't ... And Duck Season. RABBIT SEASON!

1820, near dusk, in Chicago. It was brighter than 0200 or later wherever SNSD is, I'm sure, but I think the fairly heavy traffic might make up for that to a degree. Possibly, if the highway wasn't lit either. And if her headlights were off, and if the other car's rear lights had somehow been turned off. But I don't see why any of those conditions would have prevailed. If they all did, for some bizarre reason, then I guess she has a slightly better excuse. True. It could be. But I think it's unlikely.
