Suprising moves that a wrestler has used.
Si82 replied to DangerousDamon's topic in General Wrestling
Apparently so. I've read (in Power Slam) that he performed the move while at the Power Plant but it was never used on TV because nobody wanted to take it. Can't say I blame them. -

That great isn't it. Fuck WWE. What really pissed me off i the fact that becuase, for some reason, ntl won't allow me to tape PPV events so I had to stay up until 4am to watch any of them. That really pisses me off. Anyway, fuck WWE. I don't even have Sky Sports anymore and I don't really miss it. I do have a question though. Does anyone know were I can get WWE PPV's here in the UK after they've been shown. Eg. e-Bay etc...

Well here they are: Kane Face T-shirt http://shopzone.wwe.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...24768&langId=-1 Who would want that face on the front of a t-shirt? And what does "Take the fire, Leave the ashes..." mean exactly? Edge Silhouette T-shirt http://shopzone.wwe.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...24763&langId=-1 Who came up with the design for the t-shirt and what do you think they were aiming for? It looks kinda creepy to me. Lita Blue Bird Shirt http://shopzone.wwe.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...24808&langId=-1 BLUE BIRDS? Matt Hardy Caution Sign http://shopzone.wwe.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...24649&langId=-1 Release a new Matt Hardy t-shirt while he is doing nothing. Do the "severe side effects" include constant jobbing? Thoughts?

It has to be the Crippler Crossface.

I really like it from 1996 - 1998 once the nWo came in (the first Nitro I saw was the one after Bash at the Beach '96). Although, to narrow it down, I would say early 98 was may favourite period with stuff like Raven/Benoit/DDP and Jericho/Malenko. WCW was just so cool during that period. Mind you the WWF started to comeback from around April '97 with the Hart/Austin feud.

How many times has a cage match NOT been the ME
Si82 replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Wrestling
So close...it was No Mercy 2000. Just thought I'd point it out. Sorry if I come across as a smart-ass. -
Its not a shoot, he didnt blow anything. HHH has chosen to to Benoit over an no one else. He's still a choke artist. It doesn't matter if it's a shoot or a work. If you lose enough big matches even in a work you start to come off as a choker. Indeed. Michaels has lost too many high profile matches to be seen as threat to anyone right now. The fans see him as a choke artist because of these losses. Mind you, a potential feud with Kane, who is in the same postion as Micheals as far as losses go, isn't going to do anything for him as both guys seem dead in the water right now.

That is fucking gold! By the way, did Vince Russo write Shawn's speech? I remember him going off on a rant about in the May/June 1997 issue of Raw Magazine saying stuff like: That Russo, what a joker.

I would agree with that statement. RVD has seemed highly unmotivated for some time now. Even more so since the move to Smackdown. However, he claims to enojy being on Smackdown so maybe he is just an "old dog". I am surprised that he didn't comment on the JBL thing. I mean, the guy has hardly been silent in interviews before when being under contract with WWE. Last year for instance, in a radio interview, he said about how he prefered working for ECW to WWE, how the locker room was a politcally-senestive environment, and how he wasn't pleased being booked to job to Kane while others (Shane McMahon) got the glory). I just seems odd he would keep him mouth shut now when he doesn't really have a lot to lose.

I really liked the trailer. Then again, I am a Moore fan. Does anybody know what the song played towards the end of the trailer is?

I, like most who have posted, loved the cartoon as a kid. I avoided the film for a while thinking it would ruin my memories of the cartoon. However, when I did get to watch it I thought it was an entertaining little film. It may not be exactly the same as the cartoon and certainly not as good but it certainly was entertaining enough for me.

I forgot about that match. Probably for good reason. Horrible.
