ROH: The Era of Honor Begins

I don't think screaming at the top of your lungs constitues telling a story. If you think thats all he does, or for that matter "fellates Cena and HHH" - then some people are not understanding the abilities Ross has compared to the other announcers. At least with Ross once in a blue moon he can make a feud or match interesting via the commentary, whereas I dont really see anyone else on the roster other than Tazz at times really trying to do the same. I do think that's all he does now. He's become a pathetic shell of his former self. Sure at one time Ross was an excellent commentator but over the years his abilities have declined rapidly. He's fallen back into a comfort zone. He knows he has the respect of fans and doesn't bother to better himself. It doesn't help that he's been stuck with Jerry Lawler on commentary for God know's how many years. The best work Ross has done in recent years was with others on commentary like Paul Heyman and Tazz. Being with a different partner on commentary made him step up his game. Putting him back in there with Lawler will not bring out the best in J.R. in my opinion. Add to that the fact that Steve Austin will be there and I'm sure he'll be screaming "STONE COLD, STONE COLD, STONE COLD!!!" like an idiot.

John Cusack: He can play a great range of characters and is never less than watchable in anything he's in. Con Air, Grosse Pointe Blank, Being John Malkovich, Identity. Kate Winslet: Again, manages to play a range of different characters and seems to really throw herself into the parts. Heavenly Creatures, Titanic, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

This how thing reeks of idiocy. TNA are idiots for not securing him to a contract, WWE are idiots for re-signing a guy in a lame attempt to hurt to TNA, and Shannon himself has to be the biggest idiot of them of them all for re-signing with a company that will do nothing with him.

Steel Cage Match: Edge vs. Matt Hardy - WWE Unforgiven 2005 A great match, in my opinion. I'll admit, at first I didn't have high hopes for this match following the one at Summerslam. However, once it started I was hooked. The crowd heat was amazing and both guys really put the effort in. It started well with some back and forth action. Then Edge took over and focused on Matt's head, which was a nice call-back to Summerslam. Eventually Matt made the comeback and got his revenge on Lita before the match moved into the finish. More back and forth action followed by Matt's awesome legdrop from the top of the cage. Great stuff.

You know, I never saw Big Bully Busick wrestle. I remember him being hyped in WWF magazine but never actually saw him. I always he assumed that he sucked, so I didn't think I'd missed anything.

There's something about that team that makes me think it just isn't going to work. Why couldn't they have just had Ross and Tazz?

I would say that they will do at some point. I mean, they've done it for the past couple of years so I don't see why this year would be any different.

I can't understand why people care about Chuck Palumbo coming back, he doen't offer anything.

I can see your point with his "european" style that he wrestles but I find it a refreshing change. I mean, he's had some great bouts with Colt Cabana for instance.

They're just ribbing these guys, it doesn't sound too bad. The fact that it ultimately resulted in a violent confrontation would suggest otherwise. It sounds like the Dicks were babies. I'm not advocating harsh hazing or anything, but I don't think there's anything wrong with ribbing the new guy. Doesn't matter, these guys are suppose to be adults. Hazing is for teenagers, the fact that the WWE locker room is turning into a College faturnity makes me disgusted. WWE isn't turning into a college faturnity, it already is one. Vince should not allow this kind of shit to go on.

Inspired by a post by Scorpius in the "Looking for a video or transcript of HHH's Cena burial". I went with John Cena. I've never really liked the guy since his heel turn but my hate for Triple H is to strong to support him. The segement last week on Raw just made Cena look like a pussy. It seems Triple H can't play heel so WWE changes the rules just for him.
