"Gilded Cunt" - Cradle of Filth
-
Well you will find out becuase that book was the first in a three book deal that will cover WCW and TNA. So you've just gotta wait. I'm actually quite interested in reading the whole set. And Arquette winning the WCW championship was far, far worse than Hogan winning the WWE championship.
-
Why do we need another Hogan DVD? I thought the first one was pretty well done, excluding the usual Hogan bullshit. I suppose it's a way to make more money out of Hogan becuase the first one was released when it was still the WWF. As for Moolah and Mae Young, who the hell would buy a DVD on these two?

Poor Shelton.

Yeah, becuase most of the "WWE Divas" are knockouts. Besides, why do you suspect she isn't hot?
-
Dear TFP, You sir, are an idiot. And not only an idiot but an idiot that's living in the past. How X Division matches are not pro-wrestling I don't know but you seem to long for a time that has well and truely gone. 4 or 5 moves in a match? When the hell was this? Besides, who the hell counts the number of moves in an average X division match anyway? Damaging wrestling, making it fake, what the fuck are you on? Jesus, can you not just lighten up and enjoy the matches for what they are? BTW, what the hell is a "big non sense" anyway? And for God's sake space your paragraphs out.
-
Seeing as how it doesn't make sense it therefore fits "WWE Logic" and could very well happen. Although I hope it doesn't. I was sick of J.R. and I'm glad he's gone. Granted he should have left in a better way but don't bring him back.
-
I believe he did. Man, the way UseTheSledgehammerUh put that show I think I'm going to have watch it again. I thought that other than the cage match it sucked but I'll watch again and see if my opinion changes.

"Hoots mon, there's juice loose aboot this hoose"

Don't you think TNA would want something in return? Sure, they would be getting massive exposure from being on a WWE PPV but I think TNA management would see it differently. I think they would see it as you use some of our talent if your willing to do the same for us. I don't think it's a smart way of thinking as bringing in outside talent could make your own talent look bad. Not only that but you've gotta think that if they did use TNA guys then they would be jobbing all the way to WWE guys and that wouldn't be good for them.

I would like to think that it will get better but right now it's hard to see light at the end of the tunnel. WWE hit on a winning formula during it's last boom period and seem to have trouble letting it go. It's been the same old crap for years now and it feels as if nothing changes. You have the same guys on top of the card, the same format for every show, McMahons all over TV and the same style of wrestling for every guy. The product has simply become stale. It's just awful. They need something to bomb totally before they will ever change. For those who say that there will be another boom period, how do you know? Wrestling may never have another boom period. Just becuase they things have occured in the past does not mean that they will happen again. I don't give a shit if I come across as a jaded smark. I complain becuase I'm a fan. I've spent money on the company, investing in the company becuase I'm a fan of wrestling. I want things to get better, I really do. But I won't stop complaining if I thing something sucks. As a paying customer I feel that I'm entitled to an opinion. I don't wish for the "good old days" becuase I find a better product to watch and I can relieve the "good old days" via videotape and DVD. Do I think WWE was better years ago, sure, but wrestling as a whole keeps changing and I don't need WWE to be a wrestling fan.
-
I'm pretty pissed about that. I really rate Nigel McGuiness and you're quite right he does deserve better than losing to Shark Boy on pre-show match. It also mean that I'm probably not going to see him in action becuase they don't show these match on the wrestling channel unless a program runs short and they need something to fill the time. They did that last week with a match from before Bound for Glory.
-
I would have to go with Bret. Mainly becuase I've never heard Calito do an interview out of character were as Bret really does seem to see himself as this hero to millions.
-
Yeah, go on Vince you deserve it. Typical WWE. They make bad decisions but never both to explain them. I'm just glad that they're are some investers who at least try to question them on the decisions they make. They will bomb and an Angle/Show buddy comedy sounds about as funny as an S.T.I. All those terrible buyrates and they still make a profit. No wonder JBL was champion for close to a year. Heyman should demand a spot on the writing team or tell them to fuck off. I mean, WWE doesn't want the guy going elsewhere (TNA) so he should at least try and if not just leave. I doubt he'll have trouble finding work elsewhere.

What they should do with Joe and Jarrett following Turning Point.
Si82 replied to Superfly Snuka's topic in TNA Wrestling
What do you have against Joe? -
Only if he's evil heel "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and his first promo starts with that trademark evil laugh.
-
That's my pick too. I remember fearing the worst and then it turned out to be a good match.
-
The cage match rocked and it's when others started sharing my love for The Rock. Also, Owen/Edge was good, even if it did mark Edge's first loss. Agreed. That cage match was great. I think Mankind walloped Ken Shamrock with a brutal chair shot. The Rock was really over during the match.

"Wrestling's not fake!!!!!" That's the only time that film has made me laugh. Is that where you quit watching? I think that movie's funny as hell. That's not what I meant. I meant it was funny in the context of the post. The film itself is a big pile of shit, why did I watch it all the way through?
-
Who even remembers the WWE Dupps run? Not me.. They had a WWE run? I didn't think they got past dark matches.
-
You know, juging by those photos WWE needs an image consultant. I mean look at Triple H for instance the guy needs a haircut and a shave. Half the roster needs to wake up and understand it's not the 80's anymore.
-
Nope. Turning Point is today, Armageddon is on next week. As far as prediction go I'll say Benoit over Booker, considering it's 3-0 at the moment, and Orton should go over Undertaker clean and send Taker packing forever.
