    WWE Signs Tatanka

Jesus Christ! For fucks sake when will this company understand that the need young wrestlers in order for them to have some kind of future. It really is becoming like WCW with a bunch of old wrestlers and bloody awful storylines.

"The Dangermen Sessions Volume One" - Madness So far I'm very pleased with the first new Madness album in over five years. I would have prefered an album of original tracks but they managed to do the cover version very well.

  10. Recently: Scream 2 (8/10) Even better than the original while sticking to the rules of the sequel with a higher, bloodier bodycount topped with a liberal dose of knowing humour. Scream 3 (7/10) Certainly not as good as the first two films but still a good film. Granted, at times it seems like a parody of the scream films by using the traits bashed in the first two film but it's better than most films in the teen horror genre. However, it seems to be a bit long with it dragging in the middle part. The Machinist (8/10) The film had me confused, in a good way all the way throught until the conclusion. It's also nice to see a film build a world slowly without the need for a big setpiece every fifteen minutes.

    OASIS

I think Oasis were really good but they seem to have lost the spark somewhere along the way. I mean, the first two albums they released are great but then you had "Be Here Now" and "Standing on the Shoulder of Giants" which were crap. "Heathen Chemistry" was a decent album and some of the stuff I've heard from the lastest album isn't bad. That said "Lyla" is fucking crap. They did come along at the right time but I think there time is up. However, I'm with Edwin when he says Pulp smoke Oasis.

    Favourite

My favourite Raw ever was the 04/21/97 edition with the show long angle between Steve Austin and Bret Hart. It started with a challenge that lead to the streetfight, that lead to the ambulance attack, Austin being kicked out of the building and then the return of Brian Pillman at the end of the show. Just awesome stuff. The 01/31/00 was a good show to with the debut of the Radicalz and the 07/09/01 show with the return of ECW, other than the end.

    Is it just me or..

Like hell he does. His in ring work is piss poor and, like Triple H, he gives the same promo every damn week. "I'm a wrestling god...". This guy doesn't belong in the main event he need to be put back to the midcard right now.
  17. I hope somebody show the second season here in the UK. Hopefully not the BBC after the fucked about with it causing me to miss shows when the moved the show without making an announcement about it. Fuckwits. I suppose I could always wait for the DVD.

    The Future of MNM

That mole has to be the most retarded looking thing I have every seen in wrestling. I mean, it looks like see feel asleep on some pizza and woke up without knowing it was there.
  19. I don't understand why guys like CM Punk, Kazarian and all of the Mexicools wrestled their debut matches on the B Shows whilst guys like Masters and Sntizky had their debuts on live Raw, surely someone like Punk is less likely to suck and therefore get himself over with the corwd, than someone like Masters who broke Stevie's face on his first Raw appearance and still hasn't got himself over or wreslted a match above *- surely Punk's match on Heat, whilst not spectacular has still got to better than anything than Masters or Snitzky have ever done? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because WWE loves it's big guys and they automatically wrestle WWE style. They seem to have anybody who tries anything different in case it gets over with the crowd and show the product up. Take the example of the tryout match between Little Guido/Tony Mamaluke and Danny Doring/Roadkill at MSG before an edition of Raw in 2001. The match was supposed to be really good and got over with the crowd. Then after the match all for men got a bollocking for upstaging the "superstars". WWE fears anything different and won't allow it.
  20. Apparently she loved last week's Raw. She wants more shows like it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Christ, the girl really does have shit for brains. Looks like I'll be avoiding Raw for a while.
  21. I read about half of that all the way throught and skimmed over the second half were he goes on the bash WWE. I'll admit the Warrior DVD would probably be better if it wasn't a hatchet job and I would have loved to have heard Warrior commentate on the DVD. However, the guy is still a total lunatic. He only seems interesting in putting himself over even now that he doesn't wrestle. Not only that but that Rick Rude commment was totally disgusting. I'm glad Rude managed to lay him out. I'll still probably buy the DVD because I do have an interest in watching WWE bury the Warrior.
  22. Sure they are. However, Triple H just comes out and says the same thing every week. He may change the name of who he's feuding with but he basically says the same thing, that he's the best and he's gonna be champion. Repeating the same promo for years doesn't make a good a promo guy. By the way, does anyone but Triple H get to do their own promos? Except maybe big names like Micheals etc...
  23. I'm with RavishingRickRudo. The company need fresh, new ideas. The idea of having a guy like Shawn Ryan writing good storylines with great, well developed characters is something WWE needs write now. So, I'd say you need a professional writer, possibly from a well known/well written show that appeals to adults not some Nick hack, who is also a wrestling fan with a real knowledge and passion of it. The question then is, who could this mystery writer be? However, thinking within the box of guys who are currently around. I would like to see Vince McMahon at the top to filter things, get rid of the brand split and have Paul Heyman, Tommy Dreamer, Jim Cornette, Vince Russo and the guy who books Velocity. I'd also have guys like Arn Anderson, Jake Roberts, Mick Foley and Ted Dibiase working with talent with promos and other things as well as the other agents they have.
  24. That's Russo for you and yet another reason why WCW went down the tubes. Personally, WWE has been a chore for me to sit through for the past year. After Backlash last year I just haven't really found anything that's really gripped and made me thought I've gotta watch to see what happens next. That's not to say it's been all doom and gloom. They've been bright spots in between like Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle, Carlito, Shelton, ECW but nothing to carry the whole show. I'd love to see WWE go with a more in-ring orientated product like Porter said. Less of the "entertainment" aspect of the show by dumping crap like the diva search, battles of bands, and endless, pointless backstage vingettes. In fact the fact that cameras seem to be everywhere really need to be done away with. Sure, have a camera guy catch a moment every now and then but don't have them, seemingly invisibly, in locker rooms. Hell, if I had my way it be more like 80's NWA, which I'm loving as I thanks to DVD as I didn't get to see the stuff back then. And what's this about Steph talking WWE away from it's roots? What does this mean exactly?
