"Forever Lost" - The Magic Numbers

That is some of the funniest shit I have read. Just fantastic.

I was reading this month's "Power Slam" and came across a story about how about 14 years ago in a nightclub Vince McMahon said to a group of wrestlers he would take all of their finising moves. Apparently Vince took a beating. It said it was a famous story but I've never heard of it. Does anyone know anything about this?

Yesterday: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (9/10) Manages to stay fairly close to the book but I'm not going to complain because the addtions/changes were done by Douglas Adams before he died and they are amusing. It was great to see the book come to life on the big screen. Sam Rockwell as Zaphod Beeblebrox and Alan Rickman as the voice of Marvin were the standouts but the rest of the cast were great too. I don't know if it will appeal to those who are fans but it's well worth giving a go particually if you like "British" humour. Great stuff.

My opinion on JBL hasn't changed over the past year. I still don't like him or his act and I don't get all the love for him. Each to their own I suppose.

This is terribly sad news. I can't believe he died so young after managing to turn things around. R.I.P. Chris Candido

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams. I got the books for Christmas and haven't read them yet so I figured I would get through the first book before I see the film on Monday. So far it's very strange and very good. I'm really looking forward to the film and the rest of the books now.

The best books on wrestling I've read would have to be "The Death of WCW", "Sex Lies and Headlocks" and both of Foley's books. The worst is "The Rock Says...". I mean, part of it is told in the third person like his gimmick. Not the kind of style that you want for an (auto)biography.

Yesterday: The Interpreter (7/10) Started slowly but really got a lot better when things heat up around the half way point. Sean Penn is awesome as ever.

How could anyone forget the sight of two pervy old men feeling each other up and attacking each other with sleazy props. *shudder*

No. For some matches, like "special bonus matches!" that are added come the actual PPV, there would be nothing to show and for other smaller matches, that at times can be added a week before the event with one confrontation isn't worth the time. Althought I think they did one for the Christian/Jericho ladder match at Unforgiven after about one segment on Raw the previous week. However, build up videos should be shown before the big matches on the card. One with actual build up that people care about. I really love the build up video they have and think they're a good reminder of the feuds leading up to the matches.
